Has anyone found a supplier to get the replacement screen for the note 10.1 2014?
i also need one T_T
I'm pretty sure it cost less to have samsung fix it then it does to pay for a new screen. Not to mention replacing it would be pretty difficult see my thread on the note tear down

The GT-N8000 series are not glued....... but I have not seen any videos or articles on a tear down of the 2014 edition yet.
Unless you are a calm, precise person that can follow directions and have repaired or tinkered with small expensive electronics I would advise against it.
You maybe better off selling it on Ebay and getting a used one...... right now there is a 32gb G-Note 2014 with an active bid of $274.99 and 4 days left of bidding on Ebay.
So say you put yours up for auction and get $275 plus, a used G-Note 2014 on Ebay (with patients) can be obtained for $425 or so.
Something to think about.........

Thanks buddy, i will take the risk if the digitizer its atached not glued to the lcd, i was wondering if the p600 comes as its predecesor not glued, i had been repairing so many devices, ipod touch, galaxy s2, iphone , galaxy ace, ipad 1(this was my major job, i replace whole the case and screen, i had to change the mainboard and all its componets to a new shell, but the screen was not glued), 2, 3 and others i start a small workshop two years ago(now closed because i finish my engeneering and start to work)...
so im just waiting to know if they comes glued or not, i dont teardow my p600 because it is working, cracked but fuly functional, and if i disassembly it im pretty sure that it will stop working :3.
sorry about my english it is not my first or second lenguage, about selling it, im in mexico the international shipping its so expensive, even more from here to usa, and here we dont have a used price as low as 400usd for a note 2014... so the option is change the digitizer or the whole part then sell it or keep it (i preffer to keep it)
ill be waiting if someone knows if its glued
I have the same issue. I have a crack on the front glass, though the digitizer and lcd is intact. Infact, im typing this post on my P600. All i need to know is that if the glass and lcd is not glued together
Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk
LCD and digitizer are glued
Due to a recent breakage of my digitizer and the repair shop breaking the LCD during the repair. I can attest that the digitizer panel is indeed glued to the LCD. The assembly costs ~$225 US with the digitizer alone costing ~$60 US. I have not been able to find the LCD panel alone, only as an assembly with the digitizer glued already.

Woe has striked me and my Nexus' front glass is shattered. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new one? Maybe an upgraded one?
Unfortunately there is no "glass" replacement ... only "screen" replacement (amoled + glass which is not so cheap) - about $300 USD.
Dammit. Thank you for the reply. It's cheaper to buy a new phone then..
You may want to keep the phone for a while. Is not uncommon for people to destroy other parts of the phone while keeping the screen intact (like water damage or burned motherboard/storage). you may find broken phones sold as spare parts, in which case you may find a good screen at a reasonable price.
Anyway ... I'm sorry about your loss, to say so. The geek in me is crying for you .

Contact Samsung, though it won't be covered under warranty, they will apparently replace the screen for around $160 USD (according to a few posts on reddit).
Wouldn't hurt to chuck them an email and get a quote anyway

Sooo.. Anyone have the best option for repairing the glass/digitizer on a GT-I9300 in the states?
Yeah I cracked mine a few months back.
Tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890708 to change the glass and ended up accidentally tearing off the digitizer and basically cooking it.
Sent it to Samsung, $180 and 8 days later they sent it back good as new. New glass, digitizer, screen AND bezel (had a slight crack in it). Definitely the route I'd recommend going.

That's pretty good deal when you must replace digitizer. All I see on ebay (at least fro Verizon phones) is $200 minimum. Here you will not only get this thing professionally replaced, but also not have to do it yourself, and end up paying less!!!
I wish I was aware of this option before I went about ordering digitizers on ebay, and to add insult to injury ended up ordering a wrong one
Get one with he home button on it. That means you will get one with the bezel which means much easier install. Just unscrew and replace. Ones without bezel are pretty tedious as you need your old bezel.

I'll be calling samsung tonight to get a quote but for my and future screen breaker's info please answer this:
On ebay you can see pics of the back of the assembly showing i535 or i710 or i9300
is there actually a difference in these? some sellers say that a i9300 lcd will only fit the i9300 not the i535 or i710
is this true or are they all misinformed? i'm sure samsung will say there's a difference but has anyone actually replaced their assembly with a different model?
UPDATE** when i talked to samsung i learned the answer to my question!
the LCD is the same across all platforms, glass too.
the frame however varies. i also read about someone using a different frame than what their carrier used, he had to mickey mouse the whole thing, said he couldnt use his home button, and to use the lock/ power button he had to roll up tape and shove it in... all in all the whole thing was rattley and far from factory.

Hello all,
So after the nth drop, my note has a crack in the upper left corner of the screen. Not an issue yet, but I can foresee it delaminating eventually.
I have found the screen assembly on fleabay for ~$180.
it's this the cheapest price available or is there a cheaper one somewhere? I imagine these eBay sellers must be running a significant profit margin.
Thanks in advance,
Roman

Maybe. Is there a member on this board who has superbricked their phone and wants to sell it? I would pay about 100 bucks for the screen, as long as there are no scratches.
It is possible to replace just the glass...
There are many videos on Youtube for the S3.. I did the same with my Note
Screen is cracked and the charger port is broken so i cant charge it anymore
cant turn it on even because i dont know if it is just the batery thats empty or not only the screen is cracked but also the glass?
If i buy these stuff, is these stuff all i will need to repair it or do i need something more?

There is a separate charger you can use for your battery, purchase an extra battery with the charger that charges your battery for you without it being in your phone. I have 3 batteries, 1 in my phone,1 in my wallet, and 1 that stays charged on the charger. So I rarely charge my phone just switch the batteries if that helps with your charging issue. It's a hassle, but a start if you don't want to purchase a new phone or can't fix your charge port.

I recommend you to have a professional do it. I tried to fix mine and the LCD didn't have enough glue (mfg defect) and the whole thing came out. I end up with a broken LCD that cost me $225 to fix.
Yeah if you haven't repaired anything else like this before I would send it in.
The digitizer is glued to the LCD and not easy to take off.

Just go on eBay and buy the lcd and the digitizer and the frame together. It's kind of expensive, but its better than taking the LCD and the digitizer apart. Everything you have to do is swap the internals from your broken phone to the new phone. Also make sure you YouTube some videos on how to do it and you will save yourself around 100 bucks. Good luck. I did this on my own and it was a piece of cake.

:crying:..USA, hello hi.. i live in europe: Norway
plz JUST tell what parts i could get off from eBay and fix it myself or my father wiill do it profecionaly :cyclops:
Please not That expensive parts, there are allways cheaper copies around from china or whatever i could just buy that instead
i just want the phone to WORK because its ****ing Dead for ages now:silly:
Ok the parts you need are the Lcd screen with the digitizer and the frame. There are no other cheaper parts from China since this are OEM parts. How ever, if youre Screen is broken and your digitizer is not you can buy the front LCD screen alone for about 8 dollars on eBay, but the only way to know this is if you can have the phone on. If there is no black spots on the screen and its just the front screen thats shattered then you dont need to buy the LCD digitizer and the frame. You only need the front screen LCD which I mentioned above and is around 8 dollars.
Can anyone guide me from where i should replace my s9 screen which got cracked accidentally.. or how much its gonna cost me in india..
I did try in service center where they told me around 16000 rs... So should I replace the screen or should I leave it or buy a new phone... Any suggestions will be very helpful...
If you don't mind a bit of work you can replace just the glass fairly cheaply provided you're careful not to damage the display:
https://youtu.be/67TvQWQs-48
The entire display assembly costs ten times as much as just the glass (as much as the phone itself) so you really need to be careful.
Years ago I ordered front & back glass to repair a Nexus 5 but failed dismally when I cracked the display while prying the brown glass off.
Watch the video & see what you think, if you can sell it a new phone might be easier, good luck!

probably not worth it unless you know someone who can give you a deal. maybe look at some mid-ship phones as a replacement as the cost to repair is going to be prohibitive.
