Samsung Multimedia Dock and 4.3 update - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have the Samsung Multimedia Dock (the one with 3 usb port and HDMI), buyed 1 yar ago.
With the 4.3 update I have some problems
with 4.1.2 when i put the note into the dock the screen of the note become mirrored to the tv, with 4.3 update the image disappear on the note and appear only on the tv, but the touchscreen stay active. If i try to watch a video the video is showed on the tv, but control remains on the note (with the screen black) If i disconnect and reconnect sometimes i see images on both screen.
I don't think it's a problem of the dock or an hardware problem of the note, because with an other note2 it works correctly.

[Q] Problems with allshare Cast Dongle

Hi
I bought a allshare cast dongle a while back, used it with some success with my samsung g S3 , but when I tried it out on the Note I noticed a very irritating issue.
Now the TV I'm using isn't brand new , but it's only a year old so it has full HD etc, For some odd reason when I connect the note to the allshare the image doesn't fill the screen . I get a black frame around the image ( no mater what I'm playing off) and the image is shown on both the note and TV at same time ( though with a 3 sec delay)
Now I know this is a resolution issue, but shouldn't the dongle or note scale the image, same way the image of the S3 is scaled up, shouldn't the image of the Note be adjusted accordingly?
Has screen mirroring taken over for allshare cast? I prefered the image only on the tv when connected, instead of having it on both....
Ideas? Suggestions? Rants?

Smart dock not working..

This is actually for my brothers phone. He broke the screen on his note 3 (it shows no video at all) so we got the Samsung Smart dock for it. It was working fine until it software updated. Upon rebooting it no longer displays and video through HDMI. I can hear the jingle as the phone boots up and I can assume that the OS is fully loaded as the lights on the keyboard and mouse come on, but still no video. Tried different HDMI cables and TVs but still nothing. I was able to flash firmware NE6 via odin just incase it failed to update on its own, but that still did not change anything. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this thing working again?

Side sync work around

I have been trying to get the side sync to work properly, I get connection but the interface on the phone goes dim and the tablet interface goes black, I have a note 3 (T-Mobile) on a S5 port rom and a note 10.1 2014 on a port Tab S, I belive I need a stock kernel which I have tried but still the same result, any ideas?

[Q] Xbox360 pad / OTG usb issue

Hi, I am having issues with using a xbox 360 pad with my galaxy tab s 10.5 with an OTG cable. I am trying to use limelight game streaming and the OTG/xbox 360 pad works pefectcly on my nexus 10. However when I connect it to my galaxy tab s 10.5 it just keeps blinking and never stops blinking and chooses a user slot on the controller. (the ring of 4 lights around the xbox button usually blinks a couple times then selects player 1 top left corner on my nexus 10, it never does this and keeps blinking on the galaxy tab s 10.5)
anyone have any idea why and how i might fix this? its standard OTG stuff I thought and support is baked into android I thought, so did samsung remove this support for some reason?
thanks
The Tab S doesnt provide enough power to the 360 controller to allow it to work, having tried , myself and had the same issue!
yep sadly no go here either, just keeps blinking

HDMI problem??

I have been using the official Samsung HDMI>USB adaptor to play videos on the factory NAV screen in my 2014 Ford Escape. It has always worked perfectly until today. I haven't used it in a few months but today when I plugged it in it flashed a Samsung DEX screen detected momentarily but it kept flashing HDMI connected & HDMI disconnected every second or so & never connected to the NAV screen. The screen kept saying video source connected (or something like that) but it was also saying no data received (or something to that effect).
Does this sound like a problem with my phone ??
