Hello.
I have problem with my phone, i format all memory, and now i have no recovery or any rom to flash it,from what i know and read, only option for me is ADB sideload rom to phone, cause like now i can only go in fastboot, flash new recovery, that it.
The problem is, i think only twrp have ADB sideload function, and .......i can't use it, touch don't work in twrp, volume up/down also do nothing. is there any other method to put rom on card in phone ? Also i can't connect phone to my pc, for some reasons computer don't see my phone, i'm able to flash new recovery through cmd, but can't make pc to see phone as usb mass storage. So now i stuck. anyone have something similar ? And figure out how to put rom in memory card ?

How in the World you managed to do so???
Erasing recovery???
Well, I never used ADB push. The easiest way is to flash Philz recovery again, mount sd card and copy the ROM.zip to sd card.
And why double posting problems. Old thread is only 3 days old
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582565
Flash this recovery
https://www.dropbox.com/s/yqzlpqo8illa53j/Philz recovery 5.15.9.img
And do whats been told. Mount the sdcard in the mounts and storage menu. Wait a couple of minutes (yes literally minutes) it will pop up !
And if you did search the twrp thread (touch not working) you would have found the repacked 2.4.0.0 -JB twrp recovery. It's been discussed there many......many times !

i can't do it cause in recovery i can't mount phone as storage so i can't put rom on it. having only recovery give me nothing if i'm not able put rom in phone. if problem will be only recovery, then i wouldn't bother you guys. my main problem is that pc don't see phone, all drivers are installed, yet nothing works.

And on @Mr Hofs work but on 5.15 you must to wait 2-4 minutes to mount the sd card. Wich ROM are you try for the first time I ever heard for Error7 when you copy the rom to sd card unmount the same and disconect the phone from computer while the installation.

i try viper, cm11,project x revolution, always had error 7
i put rom on sd card in phone, flash boot img, shut down, disconnect cable, boot in recovery, wipe and stuff, install rom, error 7, i never disconnect cable during installation, i even don't touch phone more than i need to.
Its the recovery i guess. Have you tried this.....rom is now on the phone so that problem is done. Flash the 5.15 recovery and install the rom.zip.......spit out ideas and thinking out loud.....these are all things to test.

Hi all.
I have a clockworkmod problem -
Following an update i applied, i cannot boot past android launch screen. no problem i thought, i had just made a backup from clockworkmod )). So i rebooted into recovery, and selected restore - the clockworkmod tells me i have no backups (there were 3 backups at least there...). the sd card mounts to clockworkmod as i can see its contents when browsing for a zip to install.
I then went to reinstall the rom from fresh, but as i dowloaded through rom manager, i can only see the 7.0.3 cyanogen update, not the full rom...
So i'm stuck with my desire unable to boot - i cant copy over a backup or rom image, and there are no backups on my card (but there were!!!).
Any ideas?
ps , yes i have used search but can't find anything that'll help me.
Ignore.

You can always take your SD card out of the phone, and using a memory card reader (or similar), download a ROM on your PC and copy across to your SD card. Put it back in the phone and boot into recovery and flash away...
Good Luck

yeah i thought that would be possible, just don't have a micro-sd reader...
is ther any other way of getting data onto the sdcard without using a card reader?
What did you update?
You could use fastboot to push the ROM file to your sd card.
And / or use recovery to mount the sdcard.

i attempted to flash lordmod kernel + PUV mod. i knwe that the PUV can be problematic, so backed up before i flashed. the backup complete, and i flashed the kernel. after finding the kernel wasn't working, i went to restore and no backups there at all...
looking up restore via fastboot now. only problem i have a mac, but could run it via VM...
maybe quicker to drive to the store to get a reader!!
OK, finally got fastboot working on my mac, device recognised as "HT11MRX11410 fastboot"
i have nothing shown with "adb devices"
How do i flash a rom or a clockworkmod backup to this device using fastboot?

I was using boot manager to install a rom and I accidently wiped system and the rom didn't flash properly. Now I'm stuck in fastboot and can't mount my usb to transfer a rom to get back into my phone. All it does is power down or reboot into fastboot. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
Searching for you... really hope we can get your phone working again
So you can not boot into recovery at all?
If you hold power plus volume down can you get to the bootloader?
have you removed your SD card & used a card reader?

Was just going to suggest that. I had a similar thing happen, and I just popped the SD card out, copied a ROM to it and then booted to hboot (vol down and power on) and selected recovery there. I then could re-wipe and flash the new rom.

If he can't get it to boot into recovery he'll have to try flashing a rom or new recovery in a pc36img.zip.
Thanks for the replies...I really appreciate the help. I can power down and get into the bootloader, but I can't choose recovery to get to my backups. It just loops to fast boot. When I click bootloader it tries to scan the pc36img, but fails...I'm guessing that it got erased. I don't have a card reader, but that's a good idea. I'll got to the store and pick one up and see if I can transfer the files I need to get my phone back on. I'll post back and let you guys know what happens. Thanks again for the help so far.
You just need to put the recovery file on the root of the sd card. Not everything until you see if it got erased.

Just bought the sd card reader and loaded back the recovery file. Looks like all my files on the sd card are still intact. I tried flashing HybridBeta.5...it flashed but kept going back to recovery when I tried to reboot. I'm gonna recover one of my backups and see how that works. Brb...
Once you flash into Recovery
Go to:
- Install zip from sdcard
- Choose zip from sdcard
- Scroll down to BootManager folder
- Select phoneRom and then click update.zip to get Phone Rom back
I have also flashed update.zip files from within rom1-4 when they were known good working installs and had them work as well.
hi everybody i'd appreciate if you help me with this, i have put Viper jellybean rom on my SDcard ready to be flashe once i do the firmware upgrade.
I flashed firmware 1.36 successfully
flash recovery successfully
boot.img successfully, in fact I've done everything great,...then i went into recovery to try and install viper rom zip from SDcard, to my surprise i keep getting message saying "No Files Found"
I went and try to restore backed up data which i had but nowhere to be found with same message saying "No Files Found"
what's happened to the data on my SD and how can i get Rom into my SD card so i can flash from zip.
Did you unplug the cable to the pc while you were in recovery ?
Ok i've rebooted into the main screen look through he option and phone's telling me there is "NO SD card present?? looked into the Storage in the settings option and it says phone storage is unavailable?
I looked in the Albums folder it says "Please insert SD card
went and connected USB to PC and to try put data in there but i only get the CHARGE ONLY option in the Choose a connection type

I've read some other threads that of you and other members like BenHope, CleancoreKiller and responded to and they were very useful,
Like you said i went in ro recovery Mount SD card USB
Connected to PC and BAM!! PC recognized it.
went ahead and dropped the VIPER X 3.2.0 in the SD card.
Unmounted and went to Install zip from SD card and to my Surprise again there was the rom.
continued to install rom, rebooted and everything went fine.
Looked into the settings / storage and now it says 22.75GB available.
Things seem to be working good like WiFi, network etc.
I want to give a massive thanks to you MR Hofs and all the other senior members who have contributed to not just my thread but everyone else s threads which i have read, because without you guys us noobs we would be lost:crying: somewhere. Your Knowledge and expertise in this field is unparalleled and it is much appreciated always:angel:
Thanks for the kind word ! Appreciate it .... enjoy the viper JB !
HELP!!!
I was trying to get all the files that are useless of off my sd card so i formated it in clockworkmod recovery and did not realize that i just deleted everything on the sdcard. And since i was just so clueless i went ahead and formated everything else that i could and then when i tried to reboot my device it takes me straight to the hboot menu. Is there any way i can get my OS back on to my device, i don't care about my files i just want the main OS back so i can use the phone again. And if you need any extra information please just ask in the comments and i will give you any info i can.
Thank You
If you can get to your recovery, go there. Then flash your ROM of choice.
how?

From the bootloader, choose recovery. If that is not an option, choose either fastboot or bootloader (whichever one is there), then choose recovery. If you don't have a ROM zip on your sdcard, mount the usb storage on your computer. Download the ROM zip on your pc, then place it on your sdcard. Unmount, then follow the instructions in the OP of your ROM thread, namely by flashing the zip. Then reboot into your new ROM.
i have clockworkmod recovery but im not sure how to flash the ROM because my sdcard has problems when i try to put files onto it.

If you have a bad sdcard, you can either transfer them to the internal 8gb memory (not sure, it's been awhile since I've messed with my inc), or you should really just get a new sdcard. You don't want a bad sdcard to start filling up with possibly corrupt app data and mess up the ROM.
i cant mount my sdcard with cwm recovery i can still get the device to connect to adb and fastboot

Note that internal 8gb memory does not mean the sdcard. Also, I'm not saying you can do this, because I can't remember. But if your sdcard is bad, you should replace it.
how do i know if the sdcard is bad though?
and how do i use the internal storage?
I tried to flash an incomplete .zip as a ROM and now I'm stuck. I know how to use fastboot and adb (I think) and I can't seem to find a recovery that allows for me to place a new ROM onto my SD card. If I use TWRP, then the recovery loads but does not register any touches. If I use the JB version then, ADB sideloading doesn't work.
Is there any way I could get a new ROM onto my SD card?
