[Q] No Audio Fix for T-Mobile 4.3 - LG Optimus G Pro

Does anyone know where I can download? Does it exist? Is anyone even working on it? Looking for one based on CM 10.2 if possible.

There's a zip I've been using that works perfectly for 4.4 and up, is that what you're looking for?
EDIT: Sorry, didn't read the title correctly, there is currently no fix for it on 4.3, I've searched all over Google and XDA, only 4.2 and 4.4 seem to play nice with the audio

I need 4.3 , there's this ROM based off 10.2 that I really like but sadly there's no fix. I was wondering if someone has it

Audio works on 4.3 but not on 4.3.1 and Honestly not sure why.

Is there a fix for this? a flashable zip maybe. I can't get audio phone calls for T-Mobile, but can get SMS and Data. I am running CM11 4.4

I believe I have this exact same issue. I put on cm 11 on my 980 with tmo sim and an phone calls - the dialer was dog slow or locked up and I could not hear anything and the mic seemed to not pic up anything - so I tried Vanir and same thing, tried CM10.2 stable same thing. Is there a fix for this?

This is so frustrating that I've gone back to stock. Much as I like T-mobile I'm going to experiment with an AT&T mvno & hope it solves the problem with CM11.
(I tried the fix for 4.4 and the flash failed.)

The Patch Works with CM 11 Based ROMS only and no matter what TMO MVNO you use patch will work.

Any idea why Philz cwm failed to apply the patch more than once on both CM 11 and 10.2?

Why thank you sir.
V3 or V4?
As we wait for the upload - can you tell me which version of FROSTY this is based on?
there was a new update for Frosty (being uploaded right now I beleive) and I didn't know if this was Ver 3 or Ver 4?
(regardless - thank you for porting it - it is an incredible ROM)
I loaded Frosty v4 on my ATT phone, it works absolutely flawlessly. Everything about it is perfect.....except for no BT tethering. I think i can get that working though.
I did too, along with Ktoons' latest TW kernel. So far, seems much better than other stock JB roms/leaks available.
is the download Link on the T-Mobile page.
Yes and the link to the tmobile thread is in the OP
Thank your sir

A few reboots with whatever kernel it came with, maybe I need to get Ktoons' latest on there. How's your battery life looking?
Battery life is better than the other JB TW roms. A little too early to tell, but I think it may be less and AOKP. That should be expected though since AOSP based roms are so stripped down. My phone is actually rebooting now from me putting the original kernel back in it to try it out. I couldn't get KTweaker to work, it kept force closing on me.
What do I need to do to flash a TMobile Rom???
I'm not saying this will work for you, but for me I just flashed it like I would any other. I believe I read somewhere that this will only work for tmobile roms. Do not try to flash a verizon or sprint rom.
You will have to put in your apn's yourself, but they are easy enough to find.

So, are we getting KitKat or what?

IF only the Nexus 5 would support sprint... lol looks like my amazing Optimus G will be around.
Even if we never get 4.4 I don't see a reason why our device would become outdated.
Who ever sees slowdowns on our device? Anyone ever see issues that would mean you have to have 4.4? My device seems just fine for me even if we don't get the official 4.4.. I am happy with my device..

Exactly, who cares about new phones or more cores? I love this phone, if I brake it, I would get the same again, This is enough power by far, the only thing that I have interest (And maybe others) is new features in the OS, nothing more

Yep, those at&t peeps usually get the good stuff first.
Guys, look at the link for the ATT one again.... It's for the Sprint version too. I just flashed it and it's up and running on my phone. Just make sure you follow the instructions.
Here is the link again: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509457
Edit: While the ROM is flashed and running just fine, I can't seem to figure out how to connect to Sprint's network. He said you might have to fix your APNs or something so I'm going to try to pull the APNs.xml from another ROM and replace the one that comes standard. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Holy shiiiitttttt. You're crazy, man! I would never think to do that, lol I'm scared. How is KK, though?
And you probably won't get data on that ROM, ever, because its for GSM. It would take a lot more than just an APN swap to get it working.

WiFi was working just fine. The camera looks exactly the same as 4.3 to me. I didn't do a whole lot of testing because I needed to get my service back, so I'm currently LGNPSTing back to stock. Feel free to try it if you like, but you'll have to LGNPST to get your service back. And if it bricks your device you can't blame me.
I'll just be patient and wait for a Sprint release or go get a Nexus 5... Haven't decided yet.

[ROM] [Toro] AOSP KITKAT 4.4 - ALPHA - 11/03/2013

Here's a stock build of 4.4 for Toro that I'm trying right now. I've tried WiFi, 4G, 3G, gps, and bluetooth. Still a little flakey, and some graphics glitches. MAKE A BACKUP!
I've heard others having issues flashing in older versions of recoveries, so it'd be best to upgrade to the newest CWM.

I cannot get this to work for the life of me, TWRP always gives me an error message before it finishes flashing the rom. TWRP is then screwed up to the point that I can't wipe or restore anything until I dirty flash a 4.3 rom. No biggie though, I'm psyched we have builds to toy with this early! Thanks!
Edit: Perhaps I'll try CWM, though I haven't used it for ages.

Use CWM. I haven't used that in over 1 year, but flashed it real quick to try this out. Works perfect with it. Cant believe CWM has no implemented the ability to flash multiple .zips at the same time.
Any notable bugs? Does the camera work? That is an issue with another build I'm currently running.

Fitbit and CM help

So I received a Fitbit Force for Christmas and it's supposed to sync up with my Note II but it doesn't. I'm sure it had to do with the fact that I'm running CM 10.1 on my phone.
Is there any way to get the Force to sync up with my device while running a custom OS or do I need to revert to stock to get it all running the way I want it to?

SGH-I317 on Carbon ROM 4.4.4 and can not get a GPS lock

As the title says I can not get a GPS fix at all. I've tried several different roms and to no avail the same issue plagues all. If anybody is able to help me get this issue resolved I'll donate a beer. [emoji106]

Working perfect here...g
I wonder if that's my issue. I'm using the latest that he released that's compatible with CM11 and 12+. I'll try reverting back to 2.9.1 and see if that fixes my issue.
Edit: well after flashing the 2.9.1 kernel still no GPS fix. This has plagued me the last three rooms I've tried.

Maybe nothing. ..
These devices don't always behave as we want them to..
Parts work for some and not for others.
I've decided that the best approach for me is finding a good working mix and sticking with it. ..
Crack flashing every day was fun...but I'm a bit more mellow now...and actually use 4.1.2 roms alot...lol...g
I thought about going back to a cm10.2 rom just because of this issue. I'm not one for touchwiz. I like the stock aosp feel.
