[Q] TW 4.3 Kernels? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Can someone point me in the right direction for any Touchwiz 4.3 compatible kernels? I want better battery life out of my phone and the 4.3 leak's kernel is just a power sucker.

Try BMS, it has petty good battery life and a balance of performance. I personally use trickster MOD the app and change the kernel settings

What would you like to see in a rom

Touchwiz 4.0.4 that's snappy like like AOSP with all tweaks and goodies included, Jedi Kernel, with an AOSP theme.
Also, a build of cm10 that doesn't suck the life out of my battery.

I would like to see master&slaves make a jb rom for our phone.
I would love to see a feature like my asus laptop has, a simply app that can change between high performance, regular or battery saving life mode right now we just highly tweaked then battery saving mode
Most roms dont show battery percentage
Automatic ram clearing coding
Some way of easily switched on the torch without unlocking the phone

What Rom you prefere and why?

I am on on Omega v10 Rom with KERNEL Note2Core OC version and is the best for my.
8160 score in quadrant with this kenel:good:and setcpu is on performance.
But i dont have tried any other costom roms.
Personally I always use Wanamlite roms by Wanam. I used them in s3 also. I retain the stock feel.
They have all the tweaks I need and full support by a great dev.

I'm on Omega v10 with Perseus kernel. I chose Omega because of I find it reliable and there's a lot more people using it so bugs, if any, are reported quicker and development always seems to be going along. And I use the Perseus kernel because it gives excellent battery life and has a fix for the SDS.

I use the Perseus kernel before but i am a fun of benchmarks and with Perseus on 1.8Gh i got only 7200 in quadrant now with Note2Core i got over 8000 and i have undervoltage so the battery is ok for now.
For those who want transparent Rom just instal Phoenix Rom it has 0-25-50-75-100 transparent mod + many other tweaks.
I have tried :good:
Lol, stock ROM, only stock ROM, forever.
Why? I hate buggy stuffs.

I like the pure Google stock Android, hence why I have a nexus. If using a non-nexus, then Cyanogenmod.

Stok Rom is ok but costom is better for ,,my''
Many tweaks.
Using omega v10 with red pill kernel , excellent battery and performance. Also used paranoid android darkness unofficial port but it had a lot of force closes , also used crisko rom which was good but slower development. Using this along with camera from 4.2 as well as keyboard and jelly bean rom theme. Don't want to loose s pen functionality and tw features

I rooted and installed Omega 9.1 and the perseus kernel at the time, and I've since upgraded to Omega 10.
Reasons, Omega Is a feature packed heavily tweaked under the bonnet "stock type" rom. So you get all the functionality and more. Its also based on the most up to date android and it has a kitchen app on the play store and im a sucker for a kitchen app! Theres also lots of compatible mods for it too such as themes and bootanimations etc etc. Support over in the main thread seems ok and the dev "indie" seems to know what hes doing.
I like the Perseus kernel because it gives longer battery life than stock and it comes with stweaks app which is a kernel specific app. I only like to use it for the audio tweaks as it directly manipulates the wolfson dac we are lucky to have in our Note 2's and you can get some fantastic sound if you know what your doing.
The Omega Rom has also been featured on Youtube quite a lot recently

Now i test CRASH Rom v4.3 with Scamus theme it lock very very nice:good:
Kenel Note2Core V2.21,V3 is very laggy.
Quadrant 7280 on OC 1.8 less then Omega 7860 but is nice rom
Wanamlite, and stock kernel and tweaked with Pimp My Rom. Awesome battery life!
Omega v14 with stock kernel. I was actually satisfied with the stock rom, except with some minor annoyances which are fixed in Omega (long delay after the call ends, the ugly implementation of the increasing ringtone, no call ecording, toggle buttons scroll, etc.), plus it comes with tons of customizable settings. I will probably try perseus kernel as well.

Whats the best ROM yet for the Note 2 n7100??

im using omega v11
great rom and i feel real long life battery with fast operations
you can get the v12 from the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1915036
Personal preference imo, in term of performance, stability and longer lasting battery.
I think the best ive ever use is Android Revolution HD 12.0 ....the batt usage is superb =D
Stock

I am using pacman at the moment; very fast and you can tweak dpi with paranoid android settings - otherwise having such a big screen does not make much sense for me
The best one is whichever one you are happy with.

Im using revolution HD at the minute after using omega rom. HD is pretty close to stock rom. Im constantly looking for a rom that is really customisable like I used to have on my i9000. (Darky rom 10.2) as a lot of the mods you got OTA but as far as I can see there is no darky rom for n7100

Phoenix ROM is nice. A lot of custom things. Minor modifications that are in it improves comfort
- circle batter icon
- H+ and range in 1 icon
- sound driver
- 21 toggle
- STweaks for overclock and more
There is no such thing as a "best ROM". What suits you is completely different to what suits others - it's subjective.
We all try x ROMs to find our what we like. Why should you try to take shortcuts? Don't be so lazy, try different ROMs and don't expect anyone to do the work for you. You're idle and want spoon feeding. GTFOOH and do your own research.

[Q] Best kernel for AOSP Rom and Performance + Sound Quality + Battery life?

I'm using the latest version of ParanoidAndroid and N.E.A.K kernel on my Note 2 N7100
I'm not getting satisfying CPU power, I mean its not as smooth as the other kernels. The battery life is pretty much okay.
I want a kernel which has good performance for gaming and butter smooth performance, and is there any other kernel which offers a sound mod which matches the level of wolfson audio control?
I'm a bass lover, so I wanna know that is there any other mod which gives better quality audio than wolfson audio control?
and The last thing I want is good battery life.
Please help,
Thanks in advance
I haven't been on AOSP ROMs before. But I can vouch for RedPill on Sammy.

Hi,
Either you stay on stock kernel or NEAK.
That would be my suggestion.
Thanks for your reply guys, I think I'll just stick with PA Rom and NEAK Kernel cz IMO NEAK has the best sound mod / audio engine amongst all other Kernels and gives great performance without OCing.
you can try stock Kernal with viper sound enhancements very easy

Agni is good in battery consumption (under condition that you have disabled google search to access location & network address using xprivacy)
But I/O performance is less than the stock kernel and you can compare it using Quadrant Standard
Devil has high I/O performance in compare to Agni and stock But the overall performance, GUI effects and TW scrolling is not smooth enough as Agni
Agni has been great for me on DN3.
