Hi All,
I recently changed my GPRS settings to a different APN and since then I don't get any animation of the arrows. Data is still going in and out but I don't see any activity on the arrows. I should point out that at about the same time I installed a GPRS data counter but have since removed this.
Anyone else seen this and have any idea how to get it back working again without doing a full reset. I have powered off and on to no avail.

Been flashing the DHD for about a year now and never had a problem with it.
S-OFF ENG etc, running MDJ's 3.1.1 ROM.
Not flashed the phone for a week or so but as of this afternoon my mobile network just sits at "Turning on.."
Will not connect data.
Wireless OK. just no data.
Ive not messed, installed, uninstalled anything for a while and this morning it was working ok.
Anyone got any ideas ?
+1. Same here. Was working fine, then I noticed the data icon was missing.
Have tried different roms, radios, etc. But no joy.
Any help, gratefully received on this matter.
Just out of interest, what network are you on?
Edit. Definitely something wrong with Orange. Unable to connect to my account with the Orange app.

+1 same stock 2.2.1 with orange. No data

I have had the same problem, but had related it to a dodgy data import from MyBackupPro as it was working and then wasn't. Nothing I did would bring it back apart from a factory reset. I didn't reload the data and it's been OK so far but it could be a similar problem.
I am on stock Gingerbread.
Just flashed a new ROM, problem solved. Couldn't be bothered waiting months no doubt for orange to update to 2.3 and put all their crapware on it.

I’ve experienced this too when I was in some areas, it happened in place you’ve been before and used 3g?
In my country whenever I go to the beach I lose 3g network and it keeps trying to connect...

If you use widget to turn on/off your data, and if you changed ROM from older to Gingerbread, it seems that this doesn't work. It is partially true- widget doesn't work anymore, but you can still turn on/ off your data from upper dock -> quick settings -> cellular network data (or something similar )
Me too, and I'm running stock 2.3.3 on Vodafone UK. No icon by signal strength bars, although apparently signal strength at -75dBm.
I can force it into 2G by selecting GSM only and the icon comes back, but not so for WCDMA only.
Also noticed in Quick settings from pull down notification bar that 'Mobile Network' is always 'Turning on...' and won't toggle.
Any ideas?

Recently I have noticed that my arc wasn't able to receive any mobile data signal. I checked my APN settings, repaired via SEUS and re-flashed via Flashtool, but I'm still not able to receive any data. I make sure my mobile data is on via settings and not just through toggles. Has anyone else experienced this? Does this sound like a hardware issue?
On a side note, does anyone have any issues with their mobile data on Rogers, just to make sure it's not me, but rather their issue?

One thing I have noticed recently is that when my phone is connected to wifi and then disconnects (because I leave my house, for instance), the phone will switch to mobile data, but the data will not work, ie I don't see any data going up or down. This will be even when it clearly shows 4G on the phone and shows full bars.
Turning the mobile data off and on in the quick settings seems to then restore data connectivity, but it's very irritating to pull out my phone in the car and try to pull up Google Maps to no avail.
Anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a permanent fix for it?

Hi guys. can anyone help me with my phone. been 2 days now i cannot use lte connection. i tried resetting network still the same. i even factory reset the phone still the same. i can use 3g but not lte. whenever i use it always says check connection. also when i locked my phone the data lost connection even if turn off mobile data when screen lock is put to never pls help.
