clean flashed new build. wifi is still broken. it can be turned on and off, but it won't find any networks. I even tried manually entering my network info, no go. I tried with the included kernel and with elementalx 2.1

No at the moment only wingray, meaning no RIL is included.
When everything is working we can take a look at getting RIL included.

clean flashed new build. wifi is still broken. it can be turned on and off, but it won't find any networks. I even tried manually entering my network info, no go. I tried with the included kernel and with elementalx 2.1

Could be that I uploaded the wrong file, well we will see with the next update.
Log is at the moment not necessary. If wifi still fails with the next update we can take another look.

Still want to try it though. It would be tempting to feel kit kat on xoom. It's nice to have you people in the development of Xoom. This device would be a legend because of your work :victory:

I used banks core gapps, dated 12/14. they work fine. you can find them on xda

Scaling frequences
Could you please add more values to scaling_available_frequences until 1.7Ghz?

So far so good. Though I will say 4.3 Over clocked was faster.

Great job. All works for me with elemental kernel. ART thankfully working well with banks gapps. The Xoom cheats death once again! Thank you so much.

I am amazed that the Xoom lives on. Turned off animation in developer options. Seems quicker. If anyone else finds ways to speed up the Xoom please do.

Bigpart
I want to test this first Christmas present.
But i use Twrp bigpart and my tab have 1007 Mo file system
So can i flash with a bigpart boot.img?

Make full wipe flash the ROM and Gapp without special boot.img
And all work perfect
Check size use 404 Mo.
One question if i flash this without bigpart the ROM manage the partition size?

Anyone know of a solution to the Bluetooth issues I find on all Lollipop roms? Stuttering and reboots have always ruined Bluetooth streaming for me on Lollipop.

Are you getting that on this one too? I've tried all LP ROMs for t0lte and this is one of 4 that don't stutter (3 that I haven't seen reboot). I use Songza, Poweramp, Pandora, and iHeart in my car (via BT) and iHeart at home for probably 6 hours when I sleep, through my BT speaker.

Hmmm that gives me hope to track down the issue. I do still get the stuttering and reboots on this rom. All Lollipop roms I've tried except one so far, but that one had many other far worse breaking bugs lol.

Yea, I tried a popular LP ROM and every time my screen turned off, any music player I named in my previous post stopped. :/ I did find that this sometimes stutters, but I think it might be a wifi issue. I have Time Warner with 300 down/100 up and typically have no problems but it may be the radio on my device because when I switch to LTE it doesn't stutter. I saw a post on one of the other LP threads (I check the N7105, T889, and the ATT variant threads) about forcing the Wi-Fi frequency band to 2.4 or 5. Haven't tried that yet because it stutters very rarely for me on this ROM.
Are you using any other Kernel or power saving app? XPosed Alpha maybe?

No other kernel or powersaving app, but yes to Xposed alpha. I may have to uninstall Xposed to see if that's the issue. That feels kind of like dropping my dog off at the pound though. Poor Xposed. He was always there for me.

Anyone else having problems with data not working? I'm with rogers? I tried to setup manually as well, nothing? WiFi is fine?

Bluetooth audio fix
It still can chop, but I've found switching the CPU governor to OnDemand from Pegasus allows bluetooth audio to survive even when the screen turns off. If I leave it on Pegasus, the phone only plays a couple of minutes and reboots. Toggling to OnDemand, I don't have that issue.
I'm leveraging Tasker to watch for bluetooth being turned on, then having it change my governor for me. Prefer Pegasus for battery, but that rebooting while playing BT audio is a pain.

The download link is the line: AFH Folder ResurrectionRemixLP OFFICIAL For T0LTE in the second post. It would appear all the zips are general t0lte builds.

Is netflix working on this ROM ?

OK loving the ROM just want to know something... Has anyone had any charging issues? Coz my phone is charging slower than on stock rooted

Anything worth moving from latest nameless 08/06? Seems this thread is just starting...that one ending...

I think it's all about preferences. Nameless, though the thread is slow, recently started having nightlies again. The dev for this ROM is pretty active and used to do the N7105 Team UB ROM when they supported the device (one of the first LP ROMs for our devices). I have 4 ROMs I have backed up just to play around with what's stable and best for my needs. Wouldn't hurt to make a nandroid backup of nameless and try RR out.

I will download this and give it a whirl.. Nameless rom is my FAV at the moment. (fast and stable)

For some reason when I'm on lte I don't get text messages they send fine but can't receive until the phone connects to 3g like getting a call or if I manually switch the network. Anyone had this issue? I did reflash the modem which didn't resolve the issue.

I do not encourage you to use a custom kernel, but I can advise you to use update Shift-LP v5.7 or higher.

No I downloaded this and clean flashed coming from CM13 but the boot up did take a while, though that is normal for first boot up. This ROM is amazing it's really fast and I love the dark theme. I might try tipsyOS later today I'm torn between this, RR, Slim, CM13 & maybe even tipsyOS. Your work is amazing OP! Thanks

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Go to Aicp Extras/Navigation bar, and enable it.
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A. Check this out. If that doesn't work for you, ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just re-flash Magisk!
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
7. Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash
KERNEL:
The kernel in this ROM follows LAOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the built-in OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use the LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. The Zipfile gets saved in the "aicp_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery. Keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!

Well tell me what made you feel that way? Within 4 days of publication, how can a project be dead? Its sort of asking for ETA, know why? Because asking such question force me to answer how much progress I have made, requested to go through FAQ/Common questions section above, and just DONT ASK silly questions or go for such queries, I will update the thread whenever I will fix the RIL (simcard issue), because without sim, this ROM would be useless right? Every security patches or rom features will be of NO USE! It is you who asked everyone to be patient, well now its time for you, keep the thread clean

I deduce that you did not read my post in which I say it was my way of keeping me informed.
I do not ask ETA, it never happened and it would not be now.
At no point did I ask if the developer had abandoned, because it would not make the slightest sense, since it has very little time.
It was a matter of saying, and how it would be interpreted, when I asked if the project was dead, I wanted to ask if it was stopped, because the topic itself was stopped.:good:

is not a problem of the ril what happens is that the rom leaves imei in nothing

Notice for who are interested in this project:
The next build might take time of 2 weeks, as my exams are running, found why the sim issues are occurring(may release the fixed build soon), as oreo for our device is not stable yet, we might have to wait for a long time to get stable oreo, once I fix the sim, I will look into fixing HAL1 and SElinux issues, nougat is still rock-stable, I will update this ROM surely, till then, I expect your co-operation and patience, cheers!

Are you using Cpt Throwbacks version of twrp which reads encryption or latest official 3.3.0.0?

Nevermind, jumped in with both feet and encrypted. Very quick and successful ? Decryption in official TWRP 3.3.0.0 works perfectly.

Its HMP.
The rom based on aosp with few caf things. So more probably aosp. The kernel is caf HMP which compatible with that.

Do you guys have a little overheating when doing normal stuff like youtube videos or using chrome, facebook, instagram... Don't sure but i think i had same experience with latest lineage os... don't have time to revert on lineage to test

This ROM is making my 10 feel like a brand new phone. Everything that I need just works. Encryption, ambient mode, native Google apps...it's just fantastic...I love it. Not sure if the system font is the latest font that I think comes with pixel 3 (product sans) as the "y" looks different but that's just an aesthetic thing. Performance is great, fast boot, ready to go. Battery drain is a bit more and sot a bit less than LOS16U but this is an alpha so definitely to be expected. Thank you @fagyi you've done it again...only better...as if we thought that was even possible! ?

If you are on rr pie than yes, that's will be enough... But one working backup is always a good idea just in case if something goes wrong...

Try the full wipe and format first. Much quicker than restoring to stock ruu. You are going to lose everything either way. Make sure you copy your backup to external SD card or your pc beforehand...just a reminder ?
Edit: format probably not needed so try full wipe first. If previously encrypted then maybe format needed but as before, just try full wipe incl internal storage first. You can always try format later if no go.

Smooth,fast, battery consumption is good like lineage os ....for enabling nav bar u have to use magisk module ....sound quality is good .... totally my daily driver.... @fagyi is ( now playing) feature working for u ?

yeah ... i am having similar experience .. the latest LOS is running warmer under normal loads but performance seems uneffected with battery consumption being little bit higher .
