Strange noise from camera - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi to all,i have bought my G Pro a couple of days ago and i discovered a strange thing. If i tap around the place where camera is situated, even without back cover,I feel a strange noise, like if something inside moves. The noise is.localized only there, and it's never fall on the ground so my question is:does anyone else has the same problem? It's normal or I have to take it back to the shop? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

I'm back from shop and seller says that noise come from camera lenses, and he showed me another g Pro to prove that. So,if anyone else hear this noise, now we know where he comes from.

I had this happen when i made my first call. But the service where I was was not the best. As of yet, I have not had another issue with it.

You got 14 days. Take it back and get a fresh one.
I think its related to the service not the device.

I get the crackle or pop every time the speaker on the back turns off and on. Like during touch sounds. Ill take it back and get another one before my exchange days are over so I get the freshest shipment of devices

I get crackles when I'm on a call using my bluetooth headset. This is bad.
I had this happen to me last night while I was on a call. I turned it into speakerphone and it stopped even when I flipped back to the headset it was gone. I am definitely going to be taking it back for a new one if this happens again.

[Q] How to check upper mic is working?

Hello guys,
Is there any way to check upper mic is working?
As you know our phone has dual mics, one at the bottom and one on the top, top one is for noise cancellation I believe, but sometimes phone uses it as primary (?), at least if I activate Speaker mode during call other side stops hearing my voice.
It is probably switched off then to save power because if you speak to the phone, the voice is gonna go to it from all sides.

Battery is fully charged, power saving is off.
So must be something else.
I think it's samsung developing it. Try using any other app.

Actually I received phone from service after SDS few days ago, so it might be wise to send it back for faulty mic fixing.
No it is for general power saving.

Hey mate,
I'm coming across the same issue. Did you end up resolving this?

High pitch rattling during vibration. Normal?

Hey guys, I'm having an issue where when the phone vibrates, there is a high frequency rattle that comes with it. I am wondering if this is just the nature of the phone or theres something wrong with it. Care to share anybody?
Other than that, this phone is amazing!

That's fortunate for you. I plan on keeping mine for awhile though.
I feel it might be on all devices. When I shake the device, I can hear, I think, the auto focus shaking. The rattling might be a product of the auto focus shaking with the phone which is okay with me. I just dont want it to be loose pieces bouncing around in my phone.

Any word on the visit to T-Mobile? My phone vibration has seemed to majorly decrease in strength.
No issues with anything here. Loving this phone! Best phone ever!

[SOLVED][Q] Flex cable that looses contact?

Hello guys, so after a year of life my Xperia Play seems to have problems.
Here a video:
http://tinypic.com/r/2iikbrp/5
I guess it is the flex cable, but I dunno if it does this because it is starting damaging, or because it looses contact (and maybe doesn't need a replace, but just a look into where it looses contact and thus I should apply there something that keeps it in place).
What do you think guys?

Few other users reported same problem, and it was flex cable fault.
You better get another flex slider cable before it totally looses contact (and thus can be replaced in hour or two, if you know how)
If you don't know how to replace, ask around where you can repair it, so it doesn't suprise you when fail completelly

I'm searching for a new flex cable right now, but, well, I live in Italy, where it's impossible to get even a cover
I'll try to order something from the States or UK, but yeah, it'd take something like 20 days
I hope I get it fixed, i love this phone D:

Just be gentle to your Play in next 20 days
Btw, any repair shop around you, or is it too expensive?

Rear camera is attached motherboard on it's own flex cable. Did you take it off when opening your Play? If yes, then probably you didn't put it back properly. Or maybe it missplaced.
Try opening again (just motherboard part and see is flex from camera is loose or something

Unless you drop your Play hard, it should work normally. If it's taking picture normally, maybe it's software problem.
On what rom and kernel you are now? Maybe, to test, make backup and flash stock ftf, to see is it sofware problem (i think i don't need to explain to you how to do that )

Lol I've just "logcatted" and so I saw an error regarding framerates.
Then I remembered what I've done something like a week ago: modified the media_profiles file located into system/etc for trying to record at 60fps LOL
Such a stupid problem, sorry Bakisha xD

No problem
When xou open your Play you'll se that flex is connected to screen, digitizer, front buttons, front camera, ALS and proximity sensor so all problems regarding those could Be actually flex problem.
Feel free to ask if you need help when you decide to open your Play.
Good luck

Just be carefull, especially when assembling it back. For me, it took me 3 hours, two coffee, half pack of cigarets (and lot of gossips :silly: , since i did it at friends place)
If you can, take pics while dissasembling (just in case)

Broken speaker

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my gf's desire z.
Edverything was working fine, but about 2 weeks ago front speaker stopped working.
Headset and back speakers are fine during call.
I have reflashed radio and rom to be sure that it's not software related and disassembled the thing and cleaned speakers contact pins.
My question is if it is a way to tell for sure if only speaker is broken and replacing it would help, or if it may be something with other parts of the phone?
PS. Sorry for my english...

Take the speaker out and attach it to another device like a radio and listen, but a new speaker is like $5 on ebay
