Flashing the 4.3 stock rom - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi everybody! Recently had some problems with my root...
I rooted my sgh-i747 on 4.1.2 and upgraded to jb 4.3. Upon doing this my phone kept super su and I was able to make it work again once i updated from the app store. I later tried installing cyanogenmod 10.2.0 RC1 and had to stop part of the way through and now its partially flashed and the logo only appears when I go into recovery...
I've tried flashing CM again by it fails every time :/.
So now I'm open to fixes, but I'd rather just flash the stock jb 4.3 onto my phone and root once I have a clean version of the os.
So if anyone has a fix or could link the stock 4.3 jb rom to this thread (not the 4.3 update, I've tried that) it would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] In a bad limbo, any help?

I'm fairly new to custom roms, but I'm fairly comfortable using Odin and CWM. I think I got stuck in a bad spot and would like some help.
I had a stock 4.1.2 L900 (with root access) last night. Decided to install the 4.3 OTA update via stock recovery, and everything booted into 4.3 just fine. Had an issue where my wifi wouldn't turn on at all. I decided to reroot on 4.3 via Odin, which did not fix the issue.
Then I installed CWM 6.0.1.4 using Odin and tried a few roms to see if they would fix the wifi. I installed the Illusion Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2361476) and got stuck at boot animation. I then tried a few other ROMs, and even the 4.3 OTA update again, and get stuck at "Error 7", which from my understanding means I'm trying to install on the wrong device.
So, now I have CWM, a ROM that gets stuck at boot animation, and I can't install another ROM. Can anyone help me on where to go from here?
Use Odin to return to MK4 stock with the MD5 file.

Thanks for the help! Used Odin after a little playing around to get the .md5 extension.

[Q] No root on maguro 4.4.2 builds ??

I tried CM 11 snapshot build as well as PA 4.4.2 BETA2 build. (BTW i was previously on 4.3 CM 10.2 stable) I already did everything for rooting my maguro but there isn't anything about how to root it after flashing the rom and gapps. It is running into the same problem that was encountered during updating from 4.2.2 to 4.3 on custom roms. Apps like titanium won't work anymore because they can't have root access and there is no updation in chainfre's supersu for this device. Also a new build for CWM for maguro kitkat bulid does not exist. So can't update the su binaries. Any other way to re-root this device after the procedure ??? Ordinary rooting using odin or bootloader does not work. I already tried.
CyanogenMod uses Koush's Settings integrated Superuser and PA Latest Build uses Chainfire's SuperSU. Both of them are pre-rooted. How did you flash the ROM?
Flashed it with cwm 6.0.4.3. BTW I got it working anyways. Thanks for replying though. The solution was using philz modified cwm. It came preloaded with some settings which made it possible.

If you have this issue in future go into developer settings to enable root.

Are you running the latest recovery? 4.4 ROMs require the latest TWRP or CWM.

I downloaded the update 4.3 , I postponed the instal, I'm on stick rooted 4.1.2.. since I downloaded it do I have to install or can I cancel it completely from installing? I'd rather go to a 4.3 injected rom to keep my bootloader... sorry for the dumb question. Never did a ota so don't know how to cancel when its been downloaded but not installed tony postponed for now

Since you are rooted it probably wont install anyway (dont quote me on this tho)
I never updated and im running a 4.3 Rom. But the drawback is your WiFi will not work. So to get it to work you'll need to either 1. Flash Devil Kernel (im using 2.3.2) or AGNi Kernel (tried it but havent used it since) or 2. Flash the Wifi Patch using PC ODIN. You can find these Kernels or Patch on Various Threads (Look on OPs of Development/Rom)

No sound after flashing rom

Alright, so I have no sound at all, music will not play, even tried streaming apps like Pandora, music app just freezes, DSP Manager will crash or just says DSP Manager has stopped working, videos will not play, including YouTube.
Now with that being said this is what i did to get to this point:
Started out on MIUI v5 3.12.20 JB - 4.2.2
Wanted to update to Validus 4.2 KK - 4.2.2
Updated my bootloader to I747UCUEMJB (i dont know what it was before that)
I think I also switched from TWRP to CWM Recovery
Installed rom + gapps etc..
Then sound just didn't work, then installed various other roms on 4.2.2 thinking it was just Validus. I used the second method list here. I've tried re-flashing the Bootloader, and i cant downgrade the bootloader without bricking the phone.
I have been flashing roms on my phone for a while, have never had any issues and if I did I have also found out how to fix it, but this one has just stumped me, hopefully you guys can help, any other information you need I will provide and thanks for taking the time to read this.
FYI, I was able to flash 4.4.2 ROMs on a stock 4.1.2 bootloader. I didn't think it would work but Validus and Cyanfox loaded without a problem.
Maybe you should try and get back to stock 4.3 to see if that solves the issue, then try a custom ROM.
Flashed the StockMod touch wiz ROM, bootloader again, then flashed The Collective ROM and now my sound is working. So not sure what really happened but its all working now.
