Hello,
I am using the nova launcher.
Is it possible to create a folder that I can drag to the dock?
A folder dedicated to audio related apps, inside this folders will be my stock music player, viper enhancer , poweramp player, etc.
I've been trying to do this for awhile now.
thanks,
I'm able to drag folders to the dock from my desktop no problem. On Nova 2.3 Prime.
How do you create a folder on the desktop

Just drag & drop one icon over the other to create a folder. You can then long press that folder to edit the folder name etc.
@unleashd thank you

It's nothing to do with LP I don't think. In the /system/customize/MNS folder is a file called default.xml which has all the default settings. I don't know if this applies to just the stock Launcher mind
I'll check it out. Thanks

Bookmark widgets. They can be placed in folders too.

Go to your bookmarks page (via the browser), long press on the bookmark and then select 'add shortcut to home'. You can then put the shortcuts in a folder.

thanks a lot guys!
I don't want my Gallery app showing me various movies that I have (I just want my movie player to show those), but the Gallery app currently seems to show everything. Is there any way to select which folders to show and which folders to hide? I have this option on my One X but don't see it in the stock ICS app here.

can you drop that .nomedia file in the offending folder via a file browser?
would this help?

Quickpic is my favorite gallery and it allows you to specficy folders to exclude.

This is the same as using the .nomedia file - browse the folders you hid using a file browser and you see the .nomedia in there, at least for hiding files.
There are other reasons QuickPic is good, just pointing out, if that's all you're doing, the .nomedia file will take care of it
also the app gallery excluder
Not 100% correct as you can exclude instead of hiding this way the no media file won't stop your video player finding the files.

If it's a folder you can just rename it and start it with a period ".".
Worked for me!
Hey friends
So I have a zip with a lot of icons in PNG format but no ROM where I can choose a theme... Using nova launcher free version. How can I replace the icons manually? Where is the icons folder?
Thanks

Desktop Visualizer from Play Store
Okay but isn't there an option where I simply overwrite some files and replace them? ... Instead of doing app by app... To turn these new icons into the native ones

I don't think you can do this, but maybe try nova launcher prime? It might have that feature...
Sorry but that is for touchwiz onlY
You can download Nova which lets you organize apps into folders in the app drawer.
