I was wondering how to edit what apks load in launcher pro by using apktool. I want to build a rom and use launcher pro in it. I want certain app launcher shortcuts to show up and maybe have a couple of widgets to load. Can someone help?

It's nothing to do with LP I don't think. In the /system/customize/MNS folder is a file called default.xml which has all the default settings. I don't know if this applies to just the stock Launcher mind
I'll check it out. Thanks

It does as long as you're not using the touching launcher. You have to move it into system/app and change the permissions to match the other apps

You clock widget isn't attached to your launcher. You can use a different launcher and the widget will be still installed on your phone.
Right but when i go to add the clock weather widget to go launcher its not showing it under add widget

Unless TW is reworked, it's gonna FC.
Altough, is this what you're looking for https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.accuweather.android ?
Also, I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1374757 In post #10, the guy explains how to get the widget.
Simple google search..
I tried installing the tw4 launcher but i get a source close on that home launcher

I want use the "add widgets" feature from the drawer but it says it needs to be installed to system. Any suggestions or help?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
Just like any other app you want to turn into a system app. There are apps which can move it to the system app folder for you "/system/app mover" is one which is on google play. Or you can just move the APK with a root file explorer and then change the permissions to match the other APKs already in that folder then reboot. Any method to turn an app into a system app will require root in case you didn't know that.

Use Titanium Backup Pro and convert it to a system app that way. Requires root, but cmon if your not rooted why are you even here lol
I am rooted, just stock rom lol. The APK thing was the thing I forgot about thanks guys

Does anyone happen to have a mod for the stock TouchWiz launcher that removes the transparency from the app drawer?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
I am not pro with modding but you'll have to play around with respect folder and ask for a file name background.
this is XXXDDDAAA
I've been searching through the launcher apk and for the life of me I can't find any file that mentions background for the app drawer. I've looked through countless xmls and haven't found anything.
I'm sure it's a simple color edit but can't find the file to edit. -_-

Look into pngs. Sometimes they are stored as pngs as well.
