I just noticed that they no longer sell just LTE branded verizon version anymore? they just have LTE(GSM) ATT and Tmobile.
did google and Asus just **** us over who bought the LTE version?
and I just spoke with Google support and they said I need to go sign my verizon LTE up with ATT or TMobile... WTF???
The nexus is not branded, or specific to any carrier as far as the internals go. I bought the T-Mobile version and stuck my Verizon Sim right in

I'm trying to determine whether my model is the LTE or GSM version.
Thank you very much!
Happy new year
Unless it's Verizon, it's GSM

Is there an LTE version of the Galaxy Nexus that works with AT&T? I don't think so, but I wanted to double check.
Nope only hspa+ and no the sprint and Verizon ones can't be used on at&t

So once we get the LTE update are we going to need an LTE sim? I remember with AT&T I had to get a new sim for 3G

Most likely yes, international tutorials (taking the verizon lte to an international LTE carrier requires a special LTE sim...ie you cant take a korean sim and plop it into an unlocked verizon lte GNII and get LTE as you need an LTE sim for it to work)

Yes, it will work.
You're actually better off getting the T-Mobile S4 as the new batch of AT&T S4s have their bootloader locked and can only achieve root, no custom recovery or ROMs.

Just picked up my g4. Its the sprint variant. I also have a nexus 6 which i know can be run on gsm networks as well as cdma. Is the g4 the same way. Can it be unlocked to run off my att work sim card?

Are you referring to the phone working on other bands not advertised on the phones box?
