so on my other Android devices, and sometimes on the N7, I can chose how to center the wallpaper when I set it. But on my Nexus 7, I can't with gallery, so the default home screen (middle) is off center. The only time where it worked correctly was a photo i got on bluetooth. How can this be fixed?

Hello all,
I try to change the homescreen wallpaper through TouchFlo in the Settings tab, some pictures don't work. I finally got it to work but then tried to change it through Window Mobile's option in Home Settings. Now, when the phone boots up as the HTC logo comes on, I see the one I set in WinMo and then it switches to the one I set through HTC. Any ideas why this is happening? And why don't I see some pictures on the wallpaper even though all my photo files are the same format?
Thanks!

When you set the wallpaper in the TF3D menu it over rides the one you set in the windows settings, You will should also see the pic you used in the windows setting as you start menu back ground. The reason you see one and then the other at start up is due to TF3D sitting on top of windows. If you want the start menu and background in TF3D to match you have to set both settings to the same pic. Not to sure why some of your pics are not showing up, sorry
Just wanting to see if anyone is experiencing...
1. If you go to the dialer (from the home screen) - my previously called contacts do not populate. Meaning when I go to use the "smart dial" (# pad to find contacts) nothing comes up. This is how I usually call people.. so its quite annoying.
Side note - I can get them to show up, if I tap a single number then hit the back button (not the back capacitive touch button) - the one thats in the dialer.
2.When using the power bar widget (the one that comes with it) every time I click to turn on the GPS I am prompted with a message telling me:
"Be selecting Standalone GPS services, you are enabling access.."
I was certainly not prompted every time with my original incredible. Furthermore, this prompt seems to disrupt the power widget causing the bar underneath to not light up (signifying its on), even though it is.
I have since switched to Power control Plus which fixed the bar not lighting up issue - but am still prompted every-time.
Are you using LauncherPro? I was experiencing the same issue when using the LauncherPro default Phone dock shortcut with the previous call history not showing. I just "re-routed" the phone shortcut to the phone app and all is well.
Hope that helps.

Any fix for this? Is it present in custom ROMs?
I am using QQ Launcher because both on the lock screen and dock it adds an indicator as to the number of missed calls and/or unread SMS messages. I could get this functionality using other apps but together they would use more memory than QQ Launcher alone. Aside from that it's a very attractive launcher.
My problem is with the lockscreen I have installed. It displays a disc in the middle of the screen. When you touch the ring you see a display of four icons: call, messaging, home and camera. All of these *except* for the camera work as expected. When I select the camera the app launches as expected but instead of the thumbnail of the photo taken previously, it shows a Cancel button. When I press the shutter button the camera app responds as normal but immediately after I have three buttons: OK, Cancel and Retake. If I touch OK the camera readies itself to take another photo. The problem is that in fact no photo is recorded. It certainly works if I unlock the screen *then* launch the camera app and take the photo. I just can't understand where these weird extra buttons appear from since they're don't usually appear. I am certain I have only 1 camera app installed.
Wife has a Note 2, all stock. 4.4.2. S Beam and Android Beam are on (I don't know what the difference between them two is).
Both on on my NOte 4.
Touching backs together; have Gallery open on mine and a photo I want to send over. Touching the photo...nothing happens.
Any thoughts?
BTW...I have Nova Launcher on my phone. I tried disabling the defaults for Nova Launcher, and used TW as the launcher, still didn't work.
The difference is the nfc contacts location on the back of the phone you may have to adjust where you are tapping the two phones together.
I heard that the S9 should be able to have the home screen in landscape. However, "Home Screen" is grayed-out in my Display settings.
So, that's one issue.
Also, I actually want a Tasker Task that will force the phone into landscape. This is triggered by my car Bluetooth so that I can mount my phone horizontally. I don't want the phone to always rotate the home screen, I just want to force landscape when I connect to my car Bluetooth.
On my S6, I could use Rotation Locker in Tasker to force the phone into landscape. The home screen, wallpaper, and everything looked good.
On the S9, Rotation Locker does not work correctly. The wallpaper remains portrait. As soon as I pull down the notification shade, the phone switches to portrait - and it's locked into portrait for all apps! I have to switch the phone setting back to auto-rotate.
Pinch your homescreen, go to homescreen settings, scroll down and uncheck Portrait mode only! Homescreen will go landscape!
Actually, part of my issue might be because I'm using Nova Launcher. I was able to change it from "default" to "auto-rotate", and the home screen seems to rotate now. So, I think that question is probably answered.
Unfortunately, I still don't have a solution for my car mode Task. I only want the home screen to be in landscape if I'm connected to my car's Bluetooth. Rotation Locker still doesn't work correctly with the S9.
Same need here...
