Nova launcher is customizable like that, TW isn't. Try there...and this is the S3 thread btw, not note

Any mods out there that allows for a 5x5 grid on the home screen and doc in TW? I know I can use a home replacement, but love the fact our TW is somewhat optimized for the s-pen.

What S Pen features do you lose by using a different launcher?
I gave TW a try the first 2 days with the phone, but the 4x4 launcher was just soooo ridiculous on such a large & high resolution screen. I put Nova Prime on with 6 rows and it looks great, but maybe I'm missing features I hadn't learned yet. ???
I use nova prime, which has the 5x5 you speak of. Full use of my s-pen and a totally customized look I love.

No way I'm going to clutter up my phone with another third-party launcher and of course I want more than 4x4 grid on my homescreen, So I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923876 and my prayer has been answered.
As long as you are rooted and on a XXALJI rom then you should be good to flash. But I'd do a nandroid backup just in case .
Now can anyone find a mod for scrollable wallpaper?

Hello all. I've been using nova launcher for a long time and I've been irritated a little because nova is not a complete replica of the stock android launcher (android 4.2). What I mean is, it looks similar but the spacing of the icons are not right (which I am able to adjust through nova settings) and the folder when opened its too close to the edge of my screen. Is there any other launcher that can possibly give me the closest feel to stock launcher apart from the stock launcher itself?

np mate; i suspected as much, otherwise you wouldn't have suggested it, too obvious ha ha ha :silly:
The screen shot is from my phone using Nova launcher. It looks exactly like stock. All you have to do is set margins to Large and dock margins to large and it's done.

That I can do, but what I don't like is how the folders are pushed to the edge. There's supposed to be a bit more gap than the whats in default by nova.

Except it's not. The icons are at the top of their "areas" so there's a large gap at the bottom and almost none at the top. Changing the spacing affects both, so they are never even. Widgets seems to work properly. This has always bothered me about nova.

Can't live without nova prime launcher, the fact I can place more apps in folders an get rid of the useless stock search bar at top is worth it alone.
my question, why would they make a replica of Default launcher? if they're making a launcher they want to make sure its different and nothing like the default one..
if you know what i mean.. and btw i use nova launcher and i think its pretty neat and easy to use..

Google search s4 touchwiz launcher and it'll be the 2nd link posted on xda.. download and flash over your 4.2.2 rom any rom.. than Search Google play for cm touchwiz theme install the 5.0 touchwiz them.. and ta da your rom is now touchwiz 4.2.2.. also the s4 launcher comes with the weather widget.. If this is offensive to anyone or has been posted I will take it down otherwise enjoy ..mimics tw exactly..:victory:

Im on blackliquid 4.2.2 and just flashed this mod. Its however not giving me 4x6. I got a 4x4 like the stock tw launcher. any idea how this happen? . Do i need to setup somewhere?

TW Launcher is Samsung ...
Take Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher and this Launcher make very nice JOB or look here in XDA TW Launcher 5...
There's one in the galaxy nexus themes and apps section, you'll have to find it, but I've used it before and it works just fine. Or the second alternative is to use the search function and find it, that would have worked instead of creating a new post.
You can't have two launcher without root ... Just search in galaxy nexus themes and apps ull find it its by omarmc as I remember .....just search before post .

Yes when will you change the Launcher2.apk (is TW) then you need root.
Install the Nova Launcher and runs really well.
You can adjust and change as many gestures, icons, dock and more and it runs without stuttering or crash.
For me, the best launcher in Android systems.

NO! that launcher is a fake. It is the Galaxy S3 bad dimensioned launcher with changed page indicators to look as S4.

This will work with 4.3 but is buggy... the rendering differences between TW and 4.3 frameworks causes the page transitions to be 'flicky' ... not at all fluid.

Touchwiz Launcher Mod might be coming soon enough, but the 15 toggle mod i doubt, considering you currently have access to over 15 shortcuts quick settings....
