Panning wallpaper on Note 2?

How do I get the home screen wallpaper to pan when I change screens? I thought all android phones can do this?

Samsung turned it off.
If you're rooted and used an use Deodexed ROM you can flash a mod to enable it again.

I think Samsung must be disabling this awesome feature due to some kind of lawsuit probably with apple. I love the scrolling wallpaper. And that is unfortunate. It started making it way out when Gingerbread was getting some updates.

I never liked nor understood the meaning of scrolling walls, anyway, if you want that just use another launcher.

I am also wondering why they disabled this feature. Also Asus did the same. There must be a good reason for this.
Can't be apple since they don't have panning wallpaper. Or do they now? I am quite sure android had it first.

Doesn't have to be Prime, the free Version does the Job as well!

Cascade effect?

When I had an iphone you could get a Cydia tweak called Cascade which would make your dock icons have a little bit of a twist or tilt to them and was wondering if there is any app that I Could do that with?

mihome or go launcher ex mihome for a more iphone like ui
and they both should have transition effects under settings

Thanks, not really a transition effect but more just effects the docked icons to give them just a little tilted look. Google Cascade effect for iphone and you can see what I'm talking about

oh my bad i should have read better sorry maybe a custom dock and icons could do the trick

{q} aosp lockscreen on touchwiz?

Hey Everyone
I was wondering if there is a flashable zip of JUST the AOSP lockscreen (ring-style) for our Touchwiz Galaxy S3's
I dont want to install WidgetLocker or the likes.

perhaps if you read the OP's post you would understand he was asking for a flashable zip of just the aosp lockscreen, not a ROM with an aosp lockscreen. where on upndwn4par's thread is the link to a recovery flashable aosp lockscreen zip?

If you have other mods already, you'll have to edit the smali, which is relatively easy if you use my guide to edit system apks:

There's also an app that called widget locker lockscreen which will give you the aosp lock screen.

back in the day i fooled around with that app. i remember it running clunky. perhaps its better now. the OP doesnt want a 3rd party app though, specifically widget locker.

[Theme] SGS4TWEAKED V3B. TWEAKED 2.4.1. 9/7

Al rights so it's that time. Finally the S4 Theme for TWEAKED!
Couple things to get out of the way. I'm not a themer like Alexia Whitehurst and foreverloco so their themes are so much more detailed then this so I recommend a dirty flash of TWEAKED before using this unless you want parts of their themes mixed in.
Also, with TSMParts I can't really do the transparent status bar and white clock. So go to TSMParts and set your own status bar to transparent and clock to white and this theme is pretty complete. I recommend not all transparent for this build because there are some third party apps I haven't fixed the status bar on so it'll be white lettering on a white background.
Finally, this is for TWEAKED and TWEAKED only. I barely have time to support one theme and my other project so I will NOT support any others, unless one day I make so much money I don't have to work (so never)... now to the good stuff.

- Please understand i have NOT... Tested this...
- Please understand since i have not tested, i am not sure it will theme Mms perfectly...
- Also please note this is for stock SecMms... NOT... The S4 Mms... As i dont use the S4 Mms... And really why would I? I haz a Note 2!
EDIT: It has some bugs, but then again i was flashing over another theme... So it may be the two just not playing well... Link removed pending more digging...

Plus for a themed s4 mms just use the modificator (I think) and grab the white s4 mms option. Thanks for this!
