What DSP manager settings do you use? - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I've never really figured out a setup I really like with DSP Manager, currently I'm just using medium compression. What do you guys like to use?

Ditch DSP and get viper4android. It works universally and has WAY more options.

[Q] Beats Audio

IS it possible to implement Beats Audio Technology thats in some HTc devices on the SGN? Like some people are porting the Bravia Engine to non Sony Devices?
Yes, download DSP Manager from the market and use Google to find the EQ curve for Beats Audio and you can emulate it pretty well. That's all Beats Audio really is..
Also as a side note the Bravia Engine doesn't really do anything

Well, do it like the infamous fail of gadgetcheck, it works as good as smacking my head on the wall...
Do it like ykkfive, now that is a win.
Can't find DSP Manager on the market. Is there something else.

Question about Transition from Stock Music Player to PlayerPro

After the remote on my In Ear Apple headphones stopped functioning, I resorted to using PlayerPro for volume control functions to replace the remote. Now my question is about changing the equalizer settings to match the music effect settings I had in the stock music player. On the stock music player, I always used classical and music clarity under the music settings. Is there any way I can change the equalizer on PlayerPro to match the music quality I got with these settings on the stick music player? I'm no audiophile so I have no clue how each setting functions so help would be greatly appreciated.

I would use DSP Manager but I'm a complete noob when it comes to editing music settings so I was wondering if there was anyone who had knowledge on these settings and know what to modify to get the settings over to PlayerPro. I don't want to use Google music because it doesn't give me the option to use Vol controls for remote in the lock screen.

There is a dsp pack you can dl off the market for playerpro that is a 15 band eq and has presets for a lot of different genres of music. That way you can get your eq already tweaked without you having to do it all yourself. The presets are adjustable if you don't like what you hear.

Music App recommendations for Toroplus on SlimBean

I still can't quite find the right music player for SlimBean. I have tried PowerAmp, Google Play, stock Music, WinAmp, DoubleTwist, Songbird and a ton of others. Nothing has everything I need.
I want:
Scrobbling
Utilizes DSP Manager
Plays smoothly (looking at you PowerAmp)
Has a lock screen widget
Doesn't seem like too tall of an order but nothing I have found satisfies all of it. AMP+ is *almost* there but it doesn't use DSP Manager. Any thoughts?
Tried Apollo?
If im not mistaken you can use DSP with power amp , go under settings/audio/advanced/(in poweramp), uncheck dvc control. It should bypass the apps equalizer and DSP will function
Edit : don't think it does jack lol , just tried it but I couldn't see a difference with DSP on or off with the dvc unchecked , sorry for the useless post

I have tried Apollo and it isn't without it shortcomings (bad interface, horrible album art resolution) but you're right, it does meet my requirements. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
I do love PowerAmp but it performs REALLY poorly on either SlimBean or Franco.Kernel (not sure where the issue is).

I love noozy but its broke like a fat stripper.
If it didn't ALWAYS close randomly for me on 4.2 I'd definitely still be using it. It may work for others though
I found APKs for noozy and Apollo 1.1. Giving them a shot.

Ubermusic?

Ubermusic and noozy were great suggestions guys, thanks. Like I mentioned, I was able to find a copy of Apollo 1.1 which basically fixed the UI issues I had with 1.0. Right now scrobbling with SLS isn't working, might switch to ScrobbleDroid or try reinstalling. thx again.

[Q] Problems with music apps and DSP Manager

Hey guys, first post ever on the site. Hoping the LGOG community can help me out on this one.
I'm on 4.1.2, rooted, stock rom, and trying to find a way to make DSP manager work on my phone. For some reason it only works if I flash CM10.2 (but I don't like CM because whenever I plug in to my computer I can only use CTP and not MTP since computer won't recognize it under MTP), and if I try using it on the stock rom it won't work. I use a music-playing app called ZPlayer (a music player that's made to look like the music player app for the Windows phones), and it comes with an EQ and Visualizer (an effect made to make the music sound "3D") and sometimes I have to restart the phone hoping that the EQ and Visualizer will work because sometimes it just stops working whenever I go back to the app. I'm just trying to make the music on my phone sound awesome. I've read that the Beats Audio or noozoxoide are better than DSP, but those don't seem to work either. Suggestions?
TL;DR: DSP manger not working on rooted stock rom 4.1.2, any alternatives?
Thanks in advance.

Doesn't have a compressor, but yes a very good eq app. Just hate it when I add bass to one song and then it blows up my headphones when I go to bass-heavy song.
You try Viper4Android?

Anybody installed viper4android app in their 7a to improve the sound?

Anyone manage to installed this app and make it work? I tried installing it but it didnt work in my 7a. Dont know if I download it correctly.

I did but the sound was messed up. So I went back to CM DSP manager.
Installation itself was a bit of a pain. Just so you know the Viper4Android in the google play store is not supported by the Viper4Android team/person. With the google play version I also ran into issues with driver installation.
Download APK from the official source. See XDA forum link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223 and follow instructions mentioned therein. The zip file contains 2 APKs. Install the desired APK via sideload. There are no issues with driver installation when using this APK.
In any case output sound on Find7a is messed up. So save some trouble and install CM Apps DSP manager or Music FX. While the sound quality is not comparison to Viper it is better than the rest.
I have it running under the actual Gummy Nightly.
I simply installed the kitkat apk, installed the super quality driver and made a reboot.
Alter reboot you have to choose viper as standard music effect in sound settings.
Per viper app you can play with the different options to improve your speakers or headphones.
I got no problems so far and the results are great. The speaker is loud and has bass again.

How do I change the sound settings on the stock ColorOS ROM? I do not see explicit options to set app for sound effects.

I think, viper mod will not work with Color OS. Someone tried that and got massive sound errors.
I think, the two engines are not compatible.

What settings are you using? Can you post screen shots of them?
Installed CW, rooted the phone...
Installed busybox in the playstore...
Installed V4A FX,
fails at installing drivers saying busybox does not work or incomplete root... Root works fine for other apps, and busybox seems to be installed correctly... Did anyone here figure it out?
Where did you get the app from? See my post above from some time ago. You need to download the apk from a seperate site and then sideload the app.
