there is no problem with wifi it is the problem with rom as when you install whatsapp on a custom rom it sometimes gives you problem also pt this issue after the dev of the rom @pawitp he will definitely think on this matter and as cm 11 is in initial stages and these problem may occur

i dont think its anything like that. actually i had same problem earlier (As i did restore titanium backup file) . time i was srecieving msgs in my case was that msgs recieved recently was showing a time of 10mins ago..simply reinstall ! fixed problem in my case! :cyclops: ..also i wasnt able to get notifications in notification bar..but wen i usd to open whatsapp,,there bunch of msgs were suddenly usd to pop up! (if that's in ur case too!)...
Oh yes actually I am also using titanium backup,so I will try to reinstall:thumbup:

This problem is related to my gf's Gio, and she's driving me crazy to solve this
Well, a few days ago I flashed a CM ROM on her Gio, everything ok, Gio is great and so on, but her facebook app stopped updating the feed and she can't comment or send messages to anyone, she can only put "Likes" on the first feed page.
I thought it could be a problem related to the rom, flashed the adrenaline ROM and the problem remains, I unistaled, cleared data and unistaled, nothing happens.
Can anyone give me an idea?

Uninstall the facebook application. Reinstall, try if it works.
If that was the case, my apologies to him. No disrispect was intended.
Anyway, on my first post I mentioned that I already did that: "I unistaled, cleared data and unistaled, nothing happens."
use an alternative facebook app, the normal one is slow, buggy.

+1 - Facebook apps sucks big time. Look at the comments on market, most of them are negative. I'm using FriendCaster, it's pretty fast...
Well, I tried the older version of facebook app and it is working.

It's lighter than the newer version, and it is working properly
None of them works for me in cyanogen Rom.
But all of them work fine in stock.

Damn, the problem returned even on the older facebook app. Suddenly its impossible to coment and doesnt update...
Sometime i faced same issue...
But now i always used Friendcaster Pro.

Is there any facebook app with chat? (without the official) I know that there's a facebook chat app, but she would have to use 2 apps intead of one.

Got the same. Something shows only when you want update notifications . I'm not able to use it anymore -,-

So, i flash CM10 and works like a charm except for one big detail.Whatsapp dosent work properly it toke so long to received and send messages.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help me.
That's a prominent whatsapp problem that it doesn't work on custom roms.it even displays a notice.
It does say so but I think it's not on every phone since I don't have problem at all with whatsapp on CM10

I'm Having a similar problem after screwing up my phone and flashed a brand new stock JB ROM n running on Siyah Kernel. Whatsapp doesnt work at all no messages go on my data usage pack but i'm browsing easily but it works easily on a Wifi disappontd fully
m running aospa 4.2.2 just got it yesterday on my n7100 but the problem is that m not able to sync fb contacts with numbers...i know that there is a mod for cm10 but what abot aospa any help?...i dunno much about adb and all so if der is a solution to this i would like to learn ...sm1 plz help me

nope nothing to actually sync contacts
Try syncmypix, takes a bit of setting up but worked well when I last used it.

Why is it that everytime I tend to recieve an mms message It seems it tries to download but it never achieves, always fails makes mms useless really. And this is rooted as well as non rooted its just something that continues to occur no matter what on data and wifi . . . Any help will be gladly appreciated. This is the only problem I hate with this android phone

If this happens even on unrooted stock I would try to call TMobile about it - perhaps there is something wonky on the account or something (just guessing, no clue really).

What apn are you using? If your still using the epc.tmobile.com it won't download mms or anything for that matter anymore.

It is no longer where I found it on my current rom.. it was in messages then settings. . 8v war recently having the problem after flashing a new rom and using exposed settings.. so I wiped, wiped again and flashed all new. . No more problems but the setting I used on 4.1.1 is not the on 4.1.2 :'(

So im currently using CM7.2 on my Evo and i have a couple problems for one i cant receive MMS and i cant post any pics on instagram, idk why im unable to post on IG when i first got the rom i was able to post fine with no problems but now it just gets stuck on processing and eventually my phone restarts. Another problem ive recently had is i cant send long text messages if my message is to long it wont send ill just get a failed message. I was wondering if anyone here knows of stable rom that fixes all this and has wifi and 4g working ive seen a lot of roms where one problem gets fixed but then the wifi wont work. I need rom where everything works, kinda hate having to sacrifice important things like wifi,4g, hdmi out etc...
Then use a stock Sense-based ROM.
Try cyanmobile it is a nice no comprises aosp ROM.

cant receive pictures in my text messages and i cant post anything to instagram, but i switched from cyanmobile to evodeck rom i was having to many problems on cyanmobile
