The best Moto X accesories
Hyperion Matte TPU Case-is the perfect budget-friendly case for the Moto X. All of the cutouts match the camera and flash, speaker grill, mic, charging port, headphone jack, and Motorola emblem perfectly, while the case itself doesn’t feature any company branding, which is a big plus for many. The raised edges on the front of the phone take care of the screen from face down drops, and the inclusion of a screen protector is a nice addition for even more display protection. The case also adds only minimal bulk to the smartphone, and is aesthetically pleasing, being available in various color options. While a simple and standard TPU case, it’s still a great buy at a price point of $7.99 on Amazon.

I wanted something along these lines:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YD0TT2
(Two piece snap on hard shell, but with soft-touch rubberized coating. Something that protects and adds grippiness, but doesn't add much in the way of bulk.)
I figured between that kind of case and a screen protector, I'd feel okay about just tossing the A100 in a bag. I really want to keep it a pick-up-and-go device (like a smartphone or an iPod touch...no unzipping, or unlatching and folding, or whatever required).
Unfortunately, 7-inch tablets haven't saturated the market enough to attract a whole lot of accessory manufacturer interest.
Soo, in the hopefully short meantime, I opted for a cheap neoprene sleeve until someone offers a case like the one above or one like I had on my Transformer (http://goo.gl/uQwTk), which was actually exceptionally nice.
Anyway, here's the sleeve I bought:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FJ7XTC
Should arrive between the 1st and 4th, so pictures and a review then.
Try one of these, it's hard shelled and protects the device well. Cheap, too!

Great case for A100
I purchased this case about a month ago. It was sent from China so it takes at least 3 weeks to arrive .
After a week of break in period the case feels great to the hands. The leather used on the outside of the case acquires a nice soft feel and has NO leather smell like the Acer smelly case.
All ports and buttons are accessible and the A100 hold firmly in the case with no screen visibility restrictions.
The case open steno style as opposed to book style in the portrait screen position.
As a bonus they also include a very nice NON glare screen protector.
$16.95 with free shipping....it's a great deal.

I recently purchased three cases and a screen protector for the tablet and figured I'd share my thoughts and experiences with them. I think it would be really nice to have all of the accessories categorized and reviewed in one place. Please comment with your accessories and your thoughts on them. I will use a 1-5 thumbs rating scale, feel free to do the same! it
Cases
Poetic StrapBack Case:good::good::good::good::good:
This is obviously a premium case right out of the box. It has a great leather finish, which unlike the Note 3 and 10.1 is actually bordered with real stitching. The material is most likely imitation leather, but it looks and feels real enough. There is a small shiny brand logo on the front which I feel cheapens it, but I may just be nitpicking. The four top hooks grasp the device very tightly, and the bottom two are more relaxed to allow removal for the stand feature. It has four viewing angles. Also, the thick handstrap on the back is ideal for standing/mobile use. It has a cutout for charging too, which is nice.
MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight Smart-Shell Stand Case:good::good::good::good:
A fantasitc basic case with a good stand feature. This is a great no frills case for people who are looking for a streamlined compact design.
COD Stand Leather Case:good:
It feels fairly nice despite its terrible chemical odor. The plastic case that attaches to the device itself fits nice and snug. However, the magnet is either too strong or misplaced and results in the device turning on/off very frequently and unexpected. If it was not for the magnet, this would be a great case. Alas, the magnet is there and it results in a very poor user experience.
Screen Protectors
ArmorSuit MilitaryShield:good:
Absolutely horrible. The screen protector was scratched and marred by the tool included for application. The application process is also a wet nightmare. The S-Pen does not work well at all with this, and it leaves divots and marks everywhere.
Thanks for this review! I think I'm going to get the StrapBack case.

An acquaintance of mine asked me to do this before returning a case or two. I decided to also post it here because I see a lot of "searching" for that ideal slim case for the Moto X, and also because I'm giving you guys another chance to make fun of me
I compared three cases and mentioned several others.

For those who don't want to suffer through my Grammy award performance on Youtube, here's the key parts.
Cases Compared:
Power Support Air Jacket Grip - Looks beautiful in online redners, not so much in person. Has a harsh transition from the clear and rounded plastic to the cheap-feeling matte TPU on the sides and front. Poor build quality as it was coming apart at two seams upon purchase. Top mic cutout is off and obscures the phone's mic. Buttons are mushy, and there's an apparent unintentional lip by the power button which is annoying for both looks and functionality. On the plus side, it shows off your phone's back, comes in a variety of bumper colors, and allows access to the Motorola dimple. I recommend that users avoid this unless they REALLY want something designed for Motomaker variants.
Supcase by Brillotech - The only real downside is that sharp edging due to the way it was machine cut. It makes the grip uncomfortable. It has a very UAG-type look to it at a fraction of the price. The buttons are perfect and the cutouts are fantastic. Round out those edges and it would be perfect.
Verizon High Gloss Silicone (TPU) Case - Great feel in the hands due to rounded corners and consistent material. Downsides are the loss of the dimple and issues with the button response while breaking in the case for the first few hours. A solid purchase, but don't be fooled by the Verizon renders at the above link. The Moto logo and Verizon logo are showing through the case from the phone. There are no logos on the case and it looks far better in person than in this photo (the opposite of the Air Jacket Grip).
Cases Mentioned:
Diztronic TPU Cases - These are examples of affordable TPU cases for the Moto X. Seems that the black is matte, while the clear, clear glitter, and pink are high gloss. Wish they'd make a black high gloss
Grip Shell for Moto G - Provided as an example of the type of cases I'm into these days, consisting of a rubberized TPU bumper with a plastic back.
Samsung Protective Cover Plus for Galaxy S 4 - Another example, same as the Moto G case above.
SGP Ultra Capsule - SGP stopped making these, but this was my favorite all-TPU case for any device. Used it for nearly 2 years on my S2.
Verizon High Gloss Silicone Case for HTC Droid Incredible - Another example of an all-TPU case. Verizon sells these for many devices. They'll work fine for many non-Verizon devices as well.
Just wanted to provide some follow-up (don't worry, no more poorly shot, stuttering voice-over video!).
Air Jacket - I returned this the day after the video. absolute garbage.
Supcase - I used this for a couple of months. I simply could never get past the sharp edges, but otherwise loved the case.
Verizon HG Silicone - Absolute garbage. The buttons got even worse over time. I literally threw it in the trash as I couldn't return it for a refund at that point.
In the end, I purchased the Hyperion (I went with black, no longer available) and Diztronic cases (Amazon links provided are not referral links). I've been using the Diztronic ever since and love it. Now I want to buy 1-2 more before they're forever gone as eventual backups.
Here is the product page: http://www.tetded.com/home/en/xperi...ria-z3-compact-d5803-d5833-caen-lc-black.html
I paid $30USD.

My thoughts
My first impressions of the case was the lovely leather look. The colour is a fantastic deep Washington Black.
The leather is not as plush as I was hoping. I feel as though the plastic skeleton which maintains shape is a bit too thick, compared to the leather. This doesn't compromise the leather feel, but I would have preferred a softer leather.
(Although, in saying that, there seem to be other cases for the Z3C from TETDED which look softer).
The inside fabric is about 1mm thick microfibre-ish. Its smooth, soft and feels hard wearing; good for something which will be touching my phone.
It fits well to the case, nice and tight. There is no play in the case, except for a very small movement in the bottom left corner of the case (not the top left, oddly).
It might have been nicer if the left hand side of the case covered the micro usb port cover, but thats just me. This doesn't take anything away from the structure of the case, I just thought it would look nicer.
The edges of the leather are well burnished and are flawless. The case feels great in the hand, and provides much needed friction on surfaces as well as while holding the phone.
One awesome thing about this case is that it allows use of the magnetic charger (if the small plate is removed; see pictures).
In terms of the purchasing of the case, it took them a few days to send, and overall I think I received it a week after order - not bad.
Pros
- Fits nicely
- Feels lovely in the hand
- Adds much needed grip
- Works with the magnetic charger!
- Its leather?
Cons
- Not a soft leather
- Not much else really
My rating: 8.5/10
Final words
Overall, I think TETDED did a pretty good job on this case. My one gripe is the lack of softness of the leather, but I suppose this would add thickness to the case (although, I think I would pay the price gladly).
TL;DR: Good case, could be softer, works with the magnetic charger. Nice.
This is my review of the $25 Benuo Galaxy S8 plus leather flip case:
https://www.amazon.com/Benuo-Vintag...172439&sr=8-4&keywords=benuo+leather+case+s8+
I received a free case in exchange for an honest review.
First thing is first, the case is a good case, if you like the folio design and like leather. Personally I love the design, but leather isn’t something I generally care about in cases.
Design:
I like the design, the case opens nicely and generally stays shut, even without a magnetic closure. The stitching looks nice and all the ports are clear and able to be used. Wireless charging works as is should, including fast wireless charging.
There isn’t much to dislike here, unless you dislike the idea of a leather folio case, in which case why are you looking at this case?
Quality:
I’ve only had the case for a bit over a full day, but it feels like it should last quite a while, the only thing I’ve noticed so far is some scuffing on the leather, giving it an older look. I understand this is a quality that people sometimes look for in leather. The company claims it is handmade, and I have no reason to disbelieve them.
There is some discoloration on the lighter inside pieces already, leading me to believe they died the leather. Also the ear piece cutout of the felt on the front flap seems slightly misaligned. I’ve included pictures to show what I mean, it doesn’t seem to cause any issues with the phone so it isn’t a problem I would care much about.
Features:
There is a distinct lack of features here. The case does not auto turn on/off the screen and there is no card holder. In short the case is a case, and nothing more.
Overall:
For $25 it is a good enough leather case. I would say the price is about right, though if they included a way to auto turn on/off the screen I would be more inclined to call this a must buy. As it is, if you want a nice looking leather folio case, this is a good case for a fair (if slightly higher than I would like).

I have this case and the only thing I really dislike is holding the case open while taking a picture. As for quality it holds the phone nice and tight and this is NOT man made leather but real animal hide.
Didn't think it was man-made (fake) leather, but was hand made with real leather (not sewn by machines).
