Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, many github pages that are around or made by me
This ROM also includes a lot of experimental changes like many NEON optimized code sets, better libraries like jpeg-turbo and tweaked surface flinger, skia and many more

Just select the option for a kill-all button!
You want to use this big awesome screen for tablet mode?
OK! just boot in tablet mode then!
You want to reboot but don't wait to long?
Just execute a hot reboot this is 50% - 70% faster then a normal reboot
You want a custom density?
Got that covered!
Hate the default Roboto font?
Just change it to another font with the build in font changer!
Hate the stupid useless overflow menu button (onscreen menu button)?
Also got an option for that just hide it!
Hate the ugly Android Global Action (power menu) dialog?
Just change it to a nice three row picture view without text
In Android you can swipe from the top of the screen downwards to expands the status bar
Why only from the top of the screen?
In this ROM you can define actions for
Swiping top edge
Swiping left edge
Swiping right edge
Swiping bottom edge
for example if you want the hide the status bar you can simply define a swipe action for it to an edge you like
And there is many more in this ROM!

I am working on a key changer so you can define it yourself it will be in one of the future builds

First post under the download image and than u the text kernel
Download the zip file
The kernel is in the zip file extract it
Flash the boot image you just pulled
Do a factory reset in CWM
Flash the ROM
Flash the kernel zip (for the modules(only if you've installed faux or Franco kernel))
Flash gapps
Be sure you follow all these steps

As you should probably know. We do not own this device. We own the AT&T version. So we are pretty much blind on the device. Logcats are cool and last_mseg are necessary for us to trouble issues!!!

Animation Manager explained
1. Zip files that contain the animations are in /system/addon.d/keyboard-anim and /system/addon.d/window-anim
2. If you feel like you want to add more, simply open one up to see the folder structure and the files it contains.
3. To add another animation that you like, simply create a new zip file with the same files and folders and place in the appropriate folder. The files must be compiled xml files and not the human readable version.

The only issue I was had was I wasnt able to get lock on the GPS. Everything else was great!

as soon as it boots and i get setup ill test gps i have had no issues with any other roms. so that should help

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

1 - report your bug in the forum of your device and see if other people having the same problem :crying:
2 - try to solve it with all the knowledge you can get :silly:
3 - if that doesn't work go to our support center and place your findings there, report your bug and which device you have , this way it goes straight to the developers

Not as lag as cm11, or PA... But sometimes it's getting choppy... Especially lag on notification drawer... Hope the dev will fix it soon !
One thing left, how to change the navbar? I don't like the android L design.... Thanks

You could try to use a theme!
I'm trying the ROM now, too. Unfortunately it's still without new Sony blobs. So it's not usable for me. But besides that it seems to be great!

Nothing happened.... Still same...

As soon as I switch to art the phone gets stuck on aosb logo with lightning kernel.I don't know about stock kernel.

For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

reporting bugs:
1 - report your bug in the forum of your device and see if other people having the same problem :crying:
2 - try to solve it with all the knowledge you can get :silly:
3 - if that doesn't work go to our support center and place your findings there, report your bug and which device you have , this way it goes straight to the developers
4 - only report a bug if your really sure it's not your own fould! --- clean install , stock kernel , no weird home manufacturing stuff ,etc,etc,

Finally dude been craving for this rom for a while now coming from my old device (one x) which was one of the first to even get this rom but yeah just happy for now and I'd like to become a tester

After charging again to 50% gapps working fine.. No probs.. Random hang and reboots are still there... Rest checking will update..

I have been using GearCm 12-09-2014 build and the phone seems pretty stable, with a decent battery life.....

Hello, this rom seems pretty nice, but before giving a it a try i would like to ask if this Rom has the Extfat SD CARD support bug from CM fixed?, because most of the CM based ROMs i´v tried on my device so far have this problem, except the CM11 itself but have a terrible call sound quality.
Also how is the call sound quality? working with bluetooth headsets?

Well I went ahead and flashed the Rom. So far is the best CM11 based I'v tried on my I9500. It's running smoothly. My 64GB SD is working perfectly even formated on ext4.
Only buggy things I'v noticed, is that the battery drains a bit too fast. And there's a bit of overheat I tried to correct this undercloacking in the kernel tweaks CPU parameters but it gives an error when you try to modify the min and max frequencies.
The calls on bluetooth headset works sometimes and others you can't hear anything .
Finally I would like to request if is Posible that in a future version the slide gesture over the notification bar to control the brightness I'v seen in others cm11.

All you do is go to advanced settings in your wifi settings and make sure that Scanning always available is not checked then your wifi passwords will not be forgotten.

How to install:
-Download the latest build and GApps. Gapps should be as instructed above.(It is Recommended to flash BeanGapps as given above.
-Reboot to recovery
-Coming from different ROM? Then wipe Data (without media)
-Wipe System and Cache
-Flash the latest build boot setup phone and reboot to recovery flash GApps (Pico Recommended)
-Reboot and enjoy!

No crashing/cannot connect to camera error. Only HDR is the bug.

Exists switch between cameras and u will find same bug there ..another bug is probably the MTP which cant be switched.... back to stock! pls see if these are the bugs

Installed this ROM yesterday. Everything is so good till. Rom is smooth. Performance is decent and Battery is awesome got almost 5hrs:30mins of SOT with idle time of around 13hrs. But I have one question, will the HDR bug will ever be fixed? I need it so bad. Request you to fix it ASAP.

installed yesterday but it only boots occasionnaly, it either shut off the phone or i get the never ending jumping balls. i have twrp 3.1.1 installed. After the g apps installed i get a messgage that google play services has stop. Any idea what is going on?

Bro use any different twrp version
Use downgraded version of twrp

Dev work as hard as you think so plz support the dev as you think fit but don't ask any ETA for any fix if any fix come they provide ASAP
Bcoz they know their responsibilities too

I tried 3.0.3 same problem! Loo king for an older version of twrp.

ForceRestart Phone if it doesn't boot to system for more than 10 mins. And use BeanGapps as instructed above.

I used the BeanGapps and did many force restart. I just reinstalled everything and it booted at the first restart. I will let you know how it goes.

No luck, i must be doing something wrong, no matter what i try it is always almost impossible to boot. I tried all the version of the bean gapps and all the twrp version 3.0.0 and up. I can't even go back to stock version

Hey, guys, I am thinking to switch to this ROM. As I don't worry about the HDR bug & 1080p 60Hz but what I wanted to confirm was, do the pictures taken are as good as stock ROM? And Does it support VoLTE? I am x507 completely untouched stock.
What are qualitative features I will lose If I switch from stock?

Cons in custom ROM
Bro camera performance bit improve but not compared to stock experience bcoz stock camera not so good or not bad
But fully stable
In custom ROM u can't use 4k resolution for video recording
Also you can't use volte in custom ROM except Chinese eui version (customized eui version by Chinese developer like 23s or 26s)
Custom ROM also not support fast charge if support then it will not provide u great performance as compared with eui
Pros in custom ROM
Custom ROM less heating , fast and smooth best ram optimization , good battery backup , well focused frame camera performance ,you will get much more customization as you want , for nougat ROM you have a great theme engine (substratum), you can change whole appeance of custom ROM by applying theme and icons packs
Fast responsive and you feel better internet net speed in customised ROM
As per my observation I told u every thing as I encounter or experience difference between eui and custom roms
Plz do not try substratum theme engine in eui it will brick your superphone

Hi developers
I m using such ROM and found some pros and cons as under :-
Pros
1 fast and smooth very responsive
2 camera work g8 as compered to other custom ROM which one I tried
3 safety net pass in this ROM with the help of magisk
4. Substratum theme engine work perfectly
5. Capisive batton work g8 with animation
6 all app work
7. Etc.
Cons
1. Fast charging not g8 as compered to other ROM but it can be manage with custom kernel support
2. Battery backup in this ROM fine but still required some improvement (custom kernel can do the work )
3. When I set google assistant in home batton it not work but work when i had spoken" OK google"
4. Sound in such ROM not loudly side you have to flesh some other enhancement app or framework
Conclusion: - best ROM like dairy milk silk descent customization is their best performance
Opinion : - if anybody want to try this ROM then they can try and I m very sure they can't ignore such g8 ROM

I will give my observation as I feel if any body found wrong so plz share their experience too and forgive me if I wrote something wrong here
