Hey guys, i need some help.
I accidently went into sideload and now I can't get out. What do i do? Do i like drain the battery? Or is there a way to go out of it? Because I can't just pull the battery out on the Xperia S. Thanks

yep, then try to charge it again while the phone is off... and then try to get to fastboot mode or recovery
You'll be stuck in the bootloop until you flash the boot.img and ROM properly.
You should be able to hold power button and volume down. I heard it's sometimes easier if you start holding volume down just after the "reboot vibrate".
you should hold on power and volume down about 10 sec.. you will see bootloader. select the fastboot and flash boot.img of your rom. then reboot
I had installed r27, with r29 the phone rebootet continuosly.. so i decided to downgrade to r27.. but now the phone is dead, when i turn it on there appears the white htc screen and switches off.. cant even enter into recovery menu!
Can anyone give me an advice?

I tried to update the version of TWRP I was using(v2.7.0.2) on my HTC One M8 (rooted) to v2.8.7.0 using the TWRP Manager App that I downloaded from the play store. The screen is stuck on "Entering Recovery...". I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me about how to get out of it. I tried holding down the power button it does nothing. The screen is frozen. How do I turn it off / get it to boot properly? Please help.. :crying:

Holding down the power button for what feels like an eternity got me through this when it happened last. I also had to flash TWRP again.
Alternatively, I believe holding both the power button and volume down during this stage is supposed to work. The only other way would be to either grin and bear a battery drain shut down (Not good if the device won't take a charge afterwards), or pop open the phone / remove battery.. Which I'm sure you can find a guide for both here and online. Hopefully it won't come to that, though!

Hi All. I am trying to fix a phone that is stuck on the LG boot screen. I have tried to put the phone into recovery via the volume- and power buttons. I get to the screen that says delete all user data and I press yes and get to the second screen to reconfirm the delete. I press yes and nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try next? I want to reset this phone for my friends son. I suspect he might have over heated it playng games. Thanks in advance.
