Cruzerlite Nexus 5 cases

Hey there guys Cruzerlite is back! They had awesome cases for the Nexus 4 and I plan on getting the black one for my (soon to ship) Nexus 5

I got a few of the bugdroid cases ordered. Can't wait. I have loved my evo lte case since it dropped, dropping it hundreds of times. Cheap and good basic protection.

I ordered a teal bugdroid one. It shipped yesterday from Hong Kong. I wonder how long it'll take to get here.

Ordered a green Androidified for the wifey and a Spi case for me.

I ordered the clear bug droid. I have yet to be disappointed with a Cruzerlite case:good:.

I got a Bugdroid for my N5. Fits like a glove. Love it. Been using Cruzerlite since my Galaxy Nexus.

How well do these cases protect the front?
How about a drop that lands on an edge?
They only show the back of the phone, not any front pics.
Anyone have a pic of the front with the case on?
Edit: Since its buy 2 get one free I ordered one of the armor ones and two different color smaller ones. Lots of choices now. The phone kinda ugly and looks fragile so having a case or three is important to me.

There's a video review on Amazon. The guy seems to think it will "definitely" protect the phone from a fall... not sure how definite that is, but it seems well built albeit very thin.

I ordered the tpu in teal yesterday and plan on getting the spigen screen protector. I love my nexus 5 but I do not trust myself until its behind a case and screen protector

Ordered the green androidfied. First time using Cruz elite so hoping it'll be thin and nice.

Looked around and didn't see a topic on this new completely clear Ringke Fusion case. I ordered one and I'll post pics and a review once I've gotten it. But had anyone else gotten one and can post pics or let us know what u think about it.

Spigen also seems to have released a clear bordered version of their Ultra Hybrid. I'll want to see theses pictures for sure, and how it feels in hand / what material they use for it.

Looks a great cover. I bought the standard fusion in black, but this one seems great in showing off the sides of the phone. But, I am worried that the side body of the cover will also get scratchy just like the back after a while..

Nope youre incorrect the side is TPU it wont get scratched like the back.

I'm between this and the black one... which one dou you think that will be look better with a black nexus?

I just got this case for my RED Nexus 5 and really really like this case. Buttons work much better with this case than my all TPU clear case. Still very slim and fitment is perfect.
Love how it shows off my new phone!!

buttons are pretty awesome on this case. I like it, but ordered knock off Google bumper that should get here soon. I'm not really into the clear hard plastic backs. Feels very light and thin though for a good amount of protection.
For reference I've had:

Quick sand
Beetle case
Diztronic matte
Cruzerlite
Nillkin
I like this one the best I think. Nillkin is pretty sleek though..

Feels great too me its not as gritty as stock back but again its nice. It will also protect your phones screen if you like to flip your phone over a lot

It's available but man, the international shipping is ridiculous. $13 for the case, but $18 just for shipping?? I've bought cases from US before and I've never been charged more than $10 for shipping......

[Q] Looking for a true bumper

For my Galaxy S III I had a metal bumper, similar to this one for the S5, and I loved it so I want a similar one for my G4.
Has anyone seen one or know where I can find one? I would love to have it before my G4 shows up on 6.5.

Have we confirmed yet that this bumper will work with the leather back?

I will post once I got the case and my G4 hope it works perfectly otherwise I might look for plastic back with built in wireless charging

Nice find... I think for $9.00 $5.46 I will order the one from eBay - since it is in China - and save some money over the one on Amazon and then, if any issues, I can deal with eBay. I like the concept of just a bumper so you can see the leather back. Assuming.... it works with the leather back of course

Going to likely have to buy one of the bumpers & self paint. I doubt anyone will make a OD green case in aluminum.

The shipping times on these things are out of control. I need an Amazon Prime option to show up.

There has to be a reason none of the images on either of the links show one with leather. Hmm. I'm skeptical. But if it works I'll be getting one for sure.

They've made an attractive watch, with stainless steel bezel and sapphire crystal which is as close as you're going to get to diamond which should not scratch as long as you don't abuse it; but you want to put a kiddies ugly plastic surround on it which looks like the target audience is 8 - 10 yr olds.
Why not just get a cheaper watch?

Wow, that is ugly ugly. Why would you want to cover such a beautiful classy watch? It's a WATCH not a phone. Please do not put a case, I beg you.

Please don't do it. The HW is such a lovely watch, let it shine.

sorry, but these cases make sense to beach, or dirtiest sports such as mountain bike.

Had my HW for less than a week and managed to scratch the metal playing squash. Not too bad but still gutted.
Would love a TPU/Gel case just for playing sports. Would remove it straight after - As you say, why cover a beautiful Watch.
What's annoying is I had a Moto 360 for 6 months and never marked it once playing squash. Typical.

Bumped mine against a outside wall and have some very small marks on the steel top. I would use a bumper or tpu case for my outdoor activities....

I wouldn't mind a case like this as well. I don't have separate watches for different activities so for as much money as I paid for this watch, I want to protect it. Plus the aspect of being able to essentially change the color of the case in intriguing.

Has anyone tried the Skinomi? Not a bumper but may take care of what a lot of you are looking for.

I was about to buy one of the ones you see for the moto 360 in the OP, but just got my huawei watch last month and would love some type of bumper i can easily snap on and off for outdoor activities.

Maybe someone with printer talent can work with them for our Huawei....

The skinomi is great, but nothing they have cover the rim. I've contacted them and best skins ever and both have told me they will not create one for the rim as it's too thin and wont adhere. I call BS. I can't find anything to protect the rim. I had several options for my Moto 360.
