Looks pretty nice, but it's funny that all of the similar style cases for this phone have a cutout for the speaker (good for those who use their phone and don't want to get face grease on it I suppose) but not a cutout for the notification light?

+1 interested in this cover. It's a pity there's no hole for notification led, however it still seems the most attractive alternative to LG quick cover... do we know if it features auto wake on for the screen?
I tried on their site but there's no trace of this model; also googling around for sellers but found nothing :silly:

Just ordered the white one, so I'd expect it within two weeks. I'll post once I receive it. I am not really that happy with the cruzerlite one. I use it on the weekends, but I do not like the magnetic clasp and is a bit thick. So I figured I'll try this one. Thanks guys for posting pics. Looks decent for a weekend case.

Yeah just from pictures i knew the cruzerlite one would add alot of thickness to the device, i've had those kind of cases before.
and ohhh exciting, what made you go with white? i was thinking the orange one looks the best. Hope you post pics of it

Ringke fusion [crystal clear]

Looked around and didn't see a topic on this new completely clear Ringke Fusion case. I ordered one and I'll post pics and a review once I've gotten it. But had anyone else gotten one and can post pics or let us know what u think about it.

Spigen also seems to have released a clear bordered version of their Ultra Hybrid. I'll want to see theses pictures for sure, and how it feels in hand / what material they use for it.

Looks a great cover. I bought the standard fusion in black, but this one seems great in showing off the sides of the phone. But, I am worried that the side body of the cover will also get scratchy just like the back after a while..

Nope youre incorrect the side is TPU it wont get scratched like the back.

I'm between this and the black one... which one dou you think that will be look better with a black nexus?

I just got this case for my RED Nexus 5 and really really like this case. Buttons work much better with this case than my all TPU clear case. Still very slim and fitment is perfect.
Love how it shows off my new phone!!

buttons are pretty awesome on this case. I like it, but ordered knock off Google bumper that should get here soon. I'm not really into the clear hard plastic backs. Feels very light and thin though for a good amount of protection.
For reference I've had:

Quick sand
Beetle case
Diztronic matte
Cruzerlite
Nillkin
I like this one the best I think. Nillkin is pretty sleek though..

I can't wait to see some pics. I like how small the included case is, and I don't want the phone to be even bigger. If this case doesn't add too much bulk, it's be nice to have a little extra protection.

Is it a hybrid case? The pictures make it seem like ours just a soft case. I prefer a hybrid (soft case with shell)

Just got it so far button feel very responsive its a soft-case but feels very sturdy not flimsy whatsoever

My wife has the hybrid case for her S7, I got the Spigen on Saturday and mulling over sending it back. The shape is slim, yet protective and just enough lip around the screen and the camera lens. Overall, I'm just not happy with the texture when I pick it up.

I had this case for my P9 and loved it. Hope will be avail in the UK soon.

Just received mines. Great case. I've had the same case on my s6 and S7 edge. Fits perfect, buttons feels great and the charging port cut out fits all my USB C cables.

Got mine yesterday, had one on my Nexus 6P and loved it..... Love it on my Axon 7 too!
It's not that flimsy rubber, or lose fitting.... it's stiff, fits tight and perfect.
I'm SOOOOOooooo glad this case finally came to the A7!

In terms of size, how does it compare to the included case. I realize the included case is minimal protection at best but I like that it doesn't completely disrupt the lines of the phone.

It's very minimal....Smaller than all the "hybrid" cases I've tried, but slightly thicker than the included case (but not by much).

Mine was $12.99 shipped and still showing for that price.... In the USA, anyways.
Better built than any other case out (to date), IMO. And doesn't feel "sloppy" on the phone.

I was looking at Speck as a possible protective case. How is the protection on them? I've used the candyshell grip for my s7, but haven't seen the presidio series yet.

In my opinion the protection is great for the thickness it adds to the phone, which isn't much. It fits really tight onto the phone and has a good amount of lip on the edges of the screen. My favorite function is the grip it adds.

I just ordered two cases today - one is a spigen and this cheap one. Hoping that one of them will turn out okay.

I decided to go with the OtterBox Symmetry instead. I usually rock a commuter case, so I think it'll work out better for me.

I was tempted to order that cheap one. The color looks cool. Please post pics when you get it.

I have the spigen rugged armor and it's amazing. I rarely drop my phone but if I did more often I wouldn't like how thin the corners are on the one I got truly. But it works for me great. Doesn't add bulk at all and protects the camera lens I've always wanted a spec but hated their prices

Speck always makes my favorite cases. How did you get it so early? They don't have them at Best Buy or Amazon yet.

Yeah, I want the black one, though. I might wait a while until the price (hopefully) goes down a bit. Just ordered the new DBrand black dragon skin, so I'll see if that gives enough grip to make me go without a case for a while. I really like the metal edges of the phone, so I'd like to go caseless as long as it isn't slippery.

UAG Monarch Series (images inside)

I just got my UAG Monarch series for my S8+. As usual it fits great, the keys are very responsive. Now I hope I can find a good tempered glass that fits without peeling off. I installed an IQ shield (wet install) and had to trim the edge (badly trimmed off by me).

How does it do for edge protection?? Is the top and bottom lip seem to give decent protection on the screen when face down? It barely raises the screen off the desk when face down. I have the Spegein Heavy Armor and it almost feels like the phone will fall out at the first good impact. It also doesnt seem to have much edge protection at all.

It has around 1mm gap

Is the gap enough though? I've always liked UAG cases and something that will protect the device well. This is my first edge phone,so not sure if it will be enough

I agree on that, I might have to go back to an otter box. I hate bulking up the phone like that.

I think the gap is much better for me than my spigen liquid armor

Really nice case, you have better pictures then the UAG website. I didn't realize it was two tone like that.

I'm really curious how the dimensions of the Monarch compare to an Otterbox Commuter or Symmetry. Any chance you could get ahold of one or both of those and do side-by-side photos?

I pre-ordered this 1 week before my S8+ came. It took about a week when i got it from uag USA. Not sure about UK, sorry.

I have the Monarch for my S8+, in addition to a couple of Plasmas (Ice & Cobalt). I prefer the Plasma, as it feels sturdier - the lower lip on the Monarch is flimsy. However, the Monarch feels slimmer on the sides, making it a bit easier to hold.

Don't buy this case.. mine corroded . Remember that my phone or the case NEVER touch water etc..
