Hi to all. I wanted to ask if you can help me telling me more about this (taken from TEAM stock topic):
HOW TO INSTALL:
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM.zip" via Recovery.
I've unlocked bootloader. Apologize for my bad english i'm italian

Enough said. You need stock recovery to do OTA.
Try to locate OTA file and flash it manually

You won't lose root if you have stock recovery.
Do you even have a stock recovery? If so, just place it inside the adb folder, open the command prompt change directory to adb folder, boot into bootloader mode and type fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img The same way you probably got custom recovery onto the device.
Won't lose root because of stock recovery. You'll lose root because of the OTA though, but even then it's easy enough to regain root. You can then either flash back the custom recovery OR boot the custom recovery. I'd suggesting booting the custom recovery that way you can make a nandroid backup of the updated system before you flash anything again.
fastboot boot custom_recovery_name.img If you're using TWRP then it probably won't make a backup of the stock recovery, CWM/Philz will work better for the nandroid. After you made a backup(If you choose to make a backup, again strongly suggested) then you can flash a custom recovery again.
Was it really necessary to post in a massive font?
Hi. I am rooted s-off and unlocked with sunshine and I wanted a custom recovery so I tried after downloading the right one for my m8 to flash it with flasify app from the play store cause I had no luck with fastboot from the computer. Now I am at the state when I boot at recovery it shows the twrp but when I hit the button to do a nandroid back up it fails can't do it. Any idea why is that and what can I do? Can I flash with flasify cwm recovery over the other or better how I return to stock recovery to start over to have better luck?
Any help will be much appreciated cause I am new to all that[emoji6]
Use Philz to backup your Rom...known issue that some devices can't backup with twrp
