I propose U not buying this phone... it will be waste of money... if you'll win it (like in my case), keep it, but buying it isn't a good idea... there're many better phones than HOV
And yes, there're CM and PA, but they developement is dead for this moment

Now is all most possible to create a full rom for Blackstone
with new devices like HTC evo and HD2 the main diference is the OS
working to make a full rom with android
thanks
it's not possible to have a final rom right now,the project need more hardworking from the devs, the battery is not working as it should be, no camera/video recording, the gps is not fully working...
i hope that we can have a fully working version based on the froyo, before a rom!
we trust in our devs and we pray to make it really happend!
currently a lot of init processes rely on the winmo SPL / winmo.
We have to sort them out before we can make a rom.

Stop asking for a ROM in any thread, you already asked for such a dumb thing in TheBrilliantMystake thread, and you got a reply.
If you don't like the answear, don't post your request.

How are the similarities between Evo and HD2 helping with a rom for the HD, which has little common with them?

Hey man, I canna be dumb too
gimmi gimmi gimmi...
another offer here for being dumb! ghhhhhhhee
hey is there any chance that windows phone 7 will be ported to the htc desire?
It's already done for the htc hd2 and the hardware of the desire and hd2 are really similar to each other. Android is a really great os better than ios in my opinion and I don't want ios running on my desire else I would have bought an iphone in the first place, but anyway running windows phone 7 on my android device as a second os is what I think not bad isn't it?
I mean wp7 is smooth as hell and I would love to try wp7 out.
soo will there be a port of wp7 to the htc desire?
i feel sorry for you man. my prediction is you will be atacked by atleast 100 people
I was going to ask the same question. I'd really like to see WinPh 7 running on my Desire, possibly a dual boot hehe

lol I know what you mean xD but still if I had the knowledge to port it I would have done it even if the os isn't as good as android I sill would have because it has the abilty to run it so why not? (I mean hardware wise)
This has already been asked, infact it's currently on page 2 of this forum.

Honest question. Football is gone and AOSP roms never got full driver support or a decent battery life. CM still only has nightlies and there will probably never be a stable CM on the One X. Do you think there is a future for One X development?
Aosp roms are fine there only issue is the camera.
Pretty sure all will be fine. Regardless of roms. Its still one of the most beasty phones arounds

yes...and cause Football has gone it is not the end of the world..and to be honest kinda disrespectful to the other devs here on XDA.. Look at Mike and Revolution rom..Look at the Viper X rom.....Look at ICJ and that is already on 4.2.1 and going strong...There are roms out there...Just got to look a bit more and follow the threads....
So if one person has gone does not mean everything has fallen out of place...
AW: Is One X development going anywhere?
Strictly speaking, there is no android rom, wether stock or custom, that is at "final" stage
Thank people as long as you can...
Seriously! There is multiple 4.2 roms out including one released in the past few days which are nearly all working apart from a few minor issues. There is no jb kernel out yet but yet these roms are 90°/ working. If I was one of our hard working devs I'd be feeling kinda pissed.
4.2 is the current os

I don't see why it's disrespectful, and I have donated to Mike in the past. I am just stating facts. All Sense roms have the same base. Bases that mostly came from Football. I'm just trying to start a chat to see if there are any new things coming up besides the small bug fixes.

We're waiting on 3.x kernel sources from HTC. That'll improve AOSP builds a lot.
Not to undermine Football, but at most all he did was speed up dev around 2 months as he leaked early HTC RUUs.

True..But at the same time he is not the only one who can get Sense roms.. So again Football is not the lone factor of the development scene for the One X..Many developers are not just him. And again it is not about donating to other devs that shows your support it is just acknowledging them and supporting them like everyone else here, which i am sure you do. And i agree with the post above mine..
You got Trip, Lord Clockan, Tbalden, Floatshow, so many more..the list is endless...Development will not stop..infact my friend it has just started..and with kernel source i would not be surprised to see more kernel developers having a go..

This isn't just a good point for the One X - it's true for all HTC handsets and sense based XDA devs.
Yes their are other sources of advanced roms but football leaked the vast majority first. So yes there will be leaks still I'm sure.. but they'll be less ahead of official releases probably and less diverse and prolific.
It is all about HTC cracking down on modding of their material and making what we like here less advantageous.
So I agree - it is a big deal for all XDA. Which XDA is being very quiet about at its official level too when it's without doubt a news worthy event.

This thread is pointless and helps nobody. All that is said here is true for every device out there and only leads to arguing.
Is there any chance we'll see CM on our devices?

If I remember correctly someone was working on it and posted a screenshot of it. Still very early tho. Like very early. HTC sources need to be released etc.
Can someone identify that "someone"? I have a PC set up for building AOSP for nexuses, and I would like to help porting CM13 to HTC 10 now that I got myself one
if the kernel source is out it shouldnt be too hard. I was waiting to see if tmo one is unlocked which it is so i'll be picking one up

The kernel source isn't out yet, at least not on HTCDev. Once that happens, CM13 ought to be right around the corner.

albinomannnnn!!! Nice to see you here. Was on the SGS5 since launch and all your work on the device made my good times with the S5 stretch all the way till recently.
Good to hear there're so many excellent devs getting on board and/or already on board with this device. Seems like HTC 10 will have a bright supported future. So glad I made the decision to jump the Samsung ship. The S7/S7E had everything I would want hardware/layout-wise plus IP68, but once again they locked it down. WTF Samsung. And I'm Korean and usually support our products lol.
Anyway, was a long time lurker in SGS5 forums til I got the HTC 10. Hope your health is going well/improving, and looking forward to more advancements with our 10's!

That "someone" is @squid2 and the thread is here. Even has a build posted that he says boots, but of course a lot of stuff broken.
Looks like HTC is starting to release the kernel source code!

I found the following HTC 10 ROMs recently updated:
CyanogenMod 13 for HTC 10
and
Resurrection Remix Marshmallow ROM for HTC 10
Working and non-working status of all these ROMs are not known at this moment. Try at your own risk.
Can we expect it right now when Nougat was released for 10? I know some developers are porting ROMS from HTC 10..
And if, will it be worth using on this old "weak" phone?
Very strange question , if you ask me.I personally ,I'm not big fan of sun dream work, but I will try it if he port it.I remember his rom was hard for customizing ,but how we see nougat runs very smooth and nice on htc one m8.I don't see a reason why not to worth it.I hope that answer on your question.
