Hey guys
Just wanted to know which modded stock rom has more features and is better?
The Epsilon Project v03 or Savvy Rom V4?
I think its PAC man ROM since it has features from most of the ROMs or maybe dirty unicorns not really sure kinda new here

I had some weird problems with SMS on Savvyrom, but I wouldn't blame the ROM for sure, as my phone itself is a hack (F180 that thinks it's E975)... No problems on Epsilon at all. Functionality and performance are about the same on both, I didn't notice much of a difference, if any.
But you are asking the "best ROM" question that is not allowed here. Try them both and decide for yourself...

Yeah PAC-man is good but with LG, I think the stock rom features are quite amazing and so was wondering about the modded stock ones

My vot for Savvy V4. Main reason because with many other roms I have GPS Problems. I coudldn't get a gps fix, but I don't have these problems with Savvy. Also the developer is still active and developing. At the moment he is testing Viper Kernel, maybe we will get an update soon.

Speaking of kernel, Viper works great with stock, not just Savvy. I used it with Epsilon, and I use it now with debloated tweaked stock. Excellent kernel!

I phrased it incorrectly. Apologies. I meant which rom has more extra features. In the sense that Epsilon has G2 file manager, gallery etc and also has a few performance tweaks

Here it is (it's a Sprint forum). Also, take a look at this thread for some info from @davevinci on installing it and replacing WiFi modules -- that's what I did.
I have no idea about MHL and radio. I never use MHL, and my phone (F180S) doesn't have a radio module, so I don't care about either.
Best custom rom in the world is epsilon modded by evo, you can find it in htcmania. It works like a charm...

Why search on htcmania, especially for non-spanish speakers? Isn't the Epsilon posted here on XDA the same ROM from the same dev?
Ok @kt-Froggy now I understand because I was not finding anything for E975 in sprint thread.
You made some adjustments to wifi modules, do you know if for version E975 is the same?
Best rom is the stock one and modded with xposed framework. Odexed roms will always be faster than deodexed. Until xposed appeared a rom had to be deodexed to be easier to work on it,especially on themes. Now,we don't have to deodex. Just remove the bloat, optionally flash a custom kernel and tweak it with xposed. You won't get better results.

I just replaced the WiFi modules with those provided by @davevinci, that's it (I linked to the thread where it was discussed). It works for me with no problems.

I've tried like that this morning, it's working, but no radio has expected.
This kernel version is probably the one that turvat1377 is testing for his SAVVYROM V5 ROM.
I will test MHL ASAP.
Best ROM
Stock Stock LG
Best Modded Stock?
For F180 - Gomdolight Enhancement FTW! Has a thread here now in XDA btw
For e975 and international- It's hard to choose between Savvy and Epsilon both are great
Also u can try porting the Sprint Stock Roms urself.. Very easy just change some of the telephony files and some kernel drivers from e975
Sent from my Optimus G using Tapatalk
The only problem with Savvy is that battery life is horrible...compared to stock and epsilon... or maybe it's just me :|

This is a Stock Rooted and De-Odexed ROM based on the official Asus IML74K.US.9.4.3.30 release.
You MUST be on the current IML74K.US.9.4.3.30 Firmware. You cannot flash this over AOKP / CM9 or any other ROM that does not use the IML74K.US.9.4.3.30 kernel!
It uses Super SU and has no tweaks or mods. Its just as Asus would have made it if they were to make a Rooted and De-odexed ROM!
Its great for those that may want to make there own ROM of just have a ROM to fall back on.

Correct me if im wrong, but doesnt the prefix: IML74K belong to the TF101, I thought our Firmware (US Version) started with US_epad-9.4.3.30_2012 ? Thanks for the new rom though!
Anyone's thoughts on how this compares to Seanz's?

Thats the last Asus has. I think the IML74K is throwing you off making you think of a different tablet? Not sure what the builds are on the other Tabs. Its quite possible that build number can be used on the TF101. Not sure though.
I shortened the title and excluded the "_epad" (kinda a given, lol) and took off the date stamp because only so much will fit in the thread title.
Hope that clarifies it a bit for you.
EDIT: Just found the latest build prop for the TF101 and it indeed is similiar
ro.build.display.id=IML74K.US_epad-9.4.2.21-20120323
So it does look like the use the IML74K build number on the 101 as well. Not sure of the significance of the IMLxxxx?

I just put this out for those that, as posted in the OP, may want to do there own dev work or just have a quick and Easy stock de-odex ROM to flash and maintain 100% Asus software.
My real ROM "CleanROM" strips out all the Asus Crap... Most of it anyways...

Yeah, cool! Its just a cleaned up version of this ROM. I dont know much abotu these "blob" files so I am still learning. I can do much wiht the ramdisk which is where I perform my magic. But with just all this crazy Asus stuff taken out its runs soooo much smoother.
But just to clarify, I am talking about CleanROM, and not this stock rooted ROM.
This stock rooted ROM is just that. A complete 100% stock ROM that is pre roooted and de-odexed. A great ROM if you want to build your own!

No, I have never done any. I always wanted to but time being so limited I never get a chance to. Plus these blob files have me stumped right now
Nice job !
There is possibility to do the same with WW_epaduser9_4_3_30 ?
for european users ?
No need to. Jusz flash Stock and then this one. Und alles ist gut
Ok..i will try this !
Danke sehr ! Tschüß !
edit : ouch ! i have CM9 installed ...and i read at the first page that don't flash over AOKP/CM and so on ...
question?
this may be a dumb question, but this is ICS correct? just well yeah rooted and now the .odex files are in the apk's as .dex files etc. just wondering, thx though
These are CWM flashable zips of the stock TW JB kernels...
I made these so users don't have to reflash their whole rom.
These will possibly work with any of the other JB leaks. (I know UVLI6 can use UVLI7 kernel & vise-versa)
Enjoy!

I use stock rom, CyanogenMod 10.2, then Cyanogenmod 11, then MIUI, PAC, Omni, Vanir / Commotio
I do like cyanogenmod but the last update that I have probably have a bug, I can't call anyone after plug an earphone, the only solution is to reboot.
I try PAC, having the same issue like Cyanogen, I guess because it share the same build with Cyanogen.
then I try mokee, first I thought by using this ROM i won't need to download 180MB daily for updating my ROM, but in the end I don't like it.
then I use MIUI, I do like the UI, but ES File Explorer can't work in this ROM, don't know why, Root Browser is okay though. use this ROM for 2 Weeks.
then I flash again to Commotio Vanir, this rom is quite perfect, no automatic updater tough, so I switch to Vanir AOSP, this one have an updater, I think I'm gonna stick to this ROM for a while.

First your going to have reception issues with majority of custom roms. But it is easy to fix most issues that can occur.
My faves in order for 5.* sm-n900t are
Pac-rom - very easy to customize and tweak. Also light and fast. It's built from the best parts from many different roms.
Dompop - cool to use lots of different mods and such. Haven't used the latest nightly but one from a month ago had issues with lte signal but was simple to fix.
Cm 12.1 - although not as good as cm10 or cm12 was, 12.1 is a great Rom that shows off the experience the developers have gain over the countless roms for countless devices they've done.
Reply back and I can do you a quick tut and direct links to files needed. Currently using twrp and pac-rom 5.1.2

DomPop as long as you as you're good with full debloat. I personally need my samsung sync so I run Aurora full Note 4 port v6 with Lean Kernel hlte v6.3.

First your going to have reception issues with majority of custom roms. But it is easy to fix most issues that can occur.
My faves in order for 5.* sm-n900t are
Pac-rom - very easy to customize and tweak. Also light and fast. It's built from the best parts from many different roms.

If you want to do official 5.0 the just use Odin and open up lollipop in it and flash. If any force closes the clear cache and stuff followed by reboot. If you going to kitkat I usually install tw lp clean then do the down grade since I find that note 3 will usually have issues any other way. Make sure you do backups of you modem and efs always in case of corruption.
Personally I just use full backups so I have all my apps logins and such on booting.

To be honest with you it was FC a lot and I couldn't get it to work right. I somehow erased my backup and needed a ROM to work "now" LOL so I gave Alliance 1.2.1 a shot and this puppy is sooooooooooo smooth fam! I haven't had an issue yet. I don't know if you'd tried it, its really nice and enough customizing to satisfy me so I stayed here.

Which Kernel are you using?
Which camera did you choose in Aroma - N4 or S6? I was thinking to pick the N4 because it might have better S-pen support, on the other hand maybe the S6 has more advanced features being of the newer software.
I was wondering if in general Samsung might be trending to lighter apps, less menu options, etc in the S6/N5.

I had stock official 5.0 on N900T. First I installed Norma S6 but a lot of bugs. I only do full wipe format from stock 5.0 to Norma s6 and then I have done same from Norma S6 to DarkLord N5. Kernel is DarkLord, thats I got when I installed DarkLord N5 RC.
