Hey there. I have a sprint S4 Mini and I'm trying to Wifi-Tether it.
I've used Clockworkmod Tether to USB tether fine, but I need to be able to wifi tether instead.
I'm rooted and I've tried Wifi Tether and the TreVe mod with various settings and I can't seem to get anything to work.
Anyone had any luck?

was just curious i just updated to valek 3.0 and loving it. and its the frist rom ive used with print usb tether and hotspot unlocked. when i have sprints usb on i cant connect to 4g network it scans and reconnects. but when i use easytether 4g is fine. is sprints tether only 3g or whats the deal with that. anyone know a work around to get 4g working or am just stuck with easytether or something.
just curious i wanted to try out sprints tether before i bought easy tether or PDAnet.

This is a known issue, and I don't think anyone has come out with a fix for it yet.
The Vaelpak version of WiFi Tether works flawlessly on Ricsims Stock Turbo 3.70 however, and it is basically the same version of your ROM without the Vaelpak theme.
No need to purchase PDAnet or easy tether.
thanks for the reply i use this as my main internet connection at home through my desktop and dont have a wifi usb dongle paying for one would be just like paying for pdanet so i just use usb tether but ive used up my pdanet "trial" lol and easytether just doesnt seem as good so just wanted to try out the stock sprint usb tether but if i cant get 3g then maybe ill buy pdanet.

Im sorry guys for this noooby question. I recently bought my sgs2 epic 4g and rooted it with the zedomax kernel, i wanted to use the wifi tether app to play on my xbox live, but for some reason i cant connect. i tried connecting it adhoc and wouldnt work and tried changing the settings and still didnt work. can anyone see if they can figure this out.. i could easily do it with my rooted evo 3d...i tried the wife tether 3.0 and the wireless tether app from the marked.. Can someone help
I can get the wired usb tether to work fine but it seems to be slower. Using FoxFi but it seems to mess with my phone. I have NEVER gotten wifi tether to work, irregardless of my phone version or rom, so I was wondering what people have installed on both phone and comp that allows it to work. My wireless card enables ad-hoc so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I just want a simple wifi tether, not a hotspot because i don't want others to use it, that's what FoxFi is for when I have guests. I just want to get wifi tether to work to see if it works how I'm hoping it does. Any help is appreciated
Does your computer support Bluetooth? BLuetooth tethering sounds like it more like what you are looking for. I've honestly never heard of a "WiFi" tether outside of the hotspot usage.
I've rooted the sN2 and dl the wifi tether from the play store but for the life of me I can't configure it properly to work. On the GSIII I managed to find a setting that worked but for the gn2 It's not working can I get some help please?
There is no fix for this yet. Wifi tether and hotspot hacks do not work at this time.
So ive been desperately trying to get USB tethering to work on my Rooted S4 after the 4.3 update. I have the Tmobile SGH-M9191 - M919UVUEMK2, I downloaded and paid $1.95 for Wifi Tether Router and it works fine for Wifi but has no USB tether - I also have unlimited everything and 2.5 GB free tethering which isn't enough. Does anyone know of an app that has usb tethering that works on this phone? I'm willing to flash a ROM, pay for an app, whatever it takes. I get 15 mbps on wifi tether app, but on stock USB tether I get 35+ mbps. Also with usb tether the phone charges while being used. Ive been searching for so freaking long and can't find a solution.
