SM-T211 stuck at samsung Logo
hello all guru.. I just trying to root my Tab 3 SM-T211.. process was successful at Odin page but when tablet restart it was stuck at samsung logo . Unabale to enter recovery mode except download mode. Kindly assist...cracking my head tonite as internet connection also slow...:crying:

Since SMT210 and SMT211 uses same boot loader? I think I can post my brick problem here, my device shows EMEI as device name, and manufacturer is Marvell. It is Dead boot no response to anything, odin, charger, download mode, nothing... I think the bootload is corrupt does someone has a "unbrick sd image". ..

S2 stuck on welcome screen

I got an alert that an update for my Samsung Galaxy S2 to the latest firmware is available, the process reached as far as the installation percentage count was completed after that my phone froze/stuck for hours on the welcome screen, the one with the the phone model with a yellow alert icon on it. I've restarted it several times but it goes no further, i took the battery out same thing. Now it is turning on automatically when the battery is in and staying on the screen. Can anyone offer a solution to this. Thanks very much for any help.

u should force recovery mode , by holding vol up + home +power till u see the splash screen with the yellow triangle, as soon as u see it , u must release the buttons immediatley ,
then wipe data/factory reset in recovery and wipe cache
then reboot
if this doesn't work then get Odin3 v1.85 and download siyah kernel from here :http://www.gokhanmoral.com/public/files/siyahkernel/v3.0/Siyah-v3.3.3d.tar
and flash it using Odin3 by putting ur phone in download mode (hold vol down+ home +power ) then connect to pc and start odin3 click on PDA and select the . tar file u downloaded
then download a rom.zip from the android devolopment forum and put it into ur external SD card , then go to recovery and install zip from sdcard and choose the rom u downloaded then flash it via recovery and finally reboot

To go Into recovery mode hold Home +Volumen up and Power button , when you see Samsung Logo hold only Home and Vulome up for the next around 20 sec that you See the recovery menu.
Please help me !
I have the same problem, I've took the steps to aquire recovery but nothing happens
On my 8.0 recovery is power+volume up, no home button. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.
Try downloading an app like " rebooter" from the play store. See if that will get u into it.
Also I use power/vol up to get into recovery.

dude where can I get the recovery? please do share tge link ... I'm having the same problem!!
Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids version (SM-T2105). It is only a Wifi tablet. I never rooted and USB debugging is not enabled (Keep this in mind). It is pure stock firmware. My 9yr old daughter has locked herself out. The Lock Screen password does not work. Because I can not gain access, I do not know exactly what firmware version it has or enable USB debugging (again - keep this in mind). The tablet will not boot to recovery mode, no matter what button combination I use. It only boots back to the Lock Screen. I tried in Regular Mode and Safe Mode. The only other mode that works is Download Mode (for Odin).
I am trying to do a Factory Reset, but I can not get into Recovery Mode. I tried flashing the stock firmware using Odin, but that does not work even after everthing PASSED with green lights (Odin 3.10.7). The tablet just reboots back to the same Lock Screen. Also, because the tablet is not enabled with USB debugging I can not do anything with ADB.
So basically I am stuck on the Lock Screen, and cant get into Recovery Mode in order to do a Factory Reset. Also, Odin flash is not working, even though everything says completed successfully. I have read in another post that other people are experiancing the same issue not being able to get into Recovery Mode (even when the tablet is not locked out and working fine). See this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/help/samsung-galaxy-tab-3-7-kids-t2105-t-t3294954
Can anyone help me. I beleive the tablet is stock in a soft brick that doesn't allow access to Recovery Mode. And the Locked Screen password is preventing me from getting into the table OS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. And my 9yr old daughter will be happy again...
Thanks,
ggee
Hello,
I'm not sure which one of these did the trick for me, but I was able to get into recovery mode. I'm not sure if your three tables are rooted or not, but I don't think it matters. Try these two methods:
Method #1:
Technically, I think I just stumbled on to this one after successfully completing Method #2 (below). But it's worth trying it first before moving on to Method #2.
-Hold the Home + Volume Up + Power buttons together at the same time (just like the normal process).
-Now, you will probably need to try this next step a couple of time before you get it right. This is because it happens pretty fast and you need to time it perfectly.
-Notice that when the screen turns on, the actual first thing that happens is that the the screen backlight turns on and glows first. This happens first and a split second later the first Samsung logo flashes.
-You need to let go of all three buttons at the same time as soon as you see the backlight turn on, but before the Samsung logo flashes.
This is the sweet spot, and it happens pretty fast. But once you do it at the right time, the tablet will go black again and then the recovey mode will show up. It works for me every time.
Method #2:
I thought somehow the recovey mode portion of the firmware had become corrupter somehow. So I decided to flash a custom recovery using Odin (since at that time I hadn't stumbled onto Method #1 yet). Make sure to download and flash the CWM or TWRP .tar file for Odin (I personally have always liked CWM over TWRP).
-Make sure you have all the correct USB drivers for the tablet installed on your computer.
-Open Odin and load the .tar file that you downloaded into the PDA or AP slot (depending on your Odin version).
-Let Odin check the m5d verification for successful authorization.
-Once Odin is ready, then boot the tablet into Download Mode (Home + Volume Down + Power button)
-Connect the table to a USB cable that is attached to your computer's main USB port.
-Odin should now recognize that the table it connected to a valid COM port.
-Click <Start> button on Odin and it should flash the costum recovey .tar file pretty quickly.
-The tablet will simultaneously flash a progress bar and start to automatically reboot (also pretty quickly).
-Disconnect the tablet from the USB cable now.
If the tablet does not automatically reboot to the new custom recovery screen, then just power off the tablet completely. Wait 30 seconds, and then boot the table to recovery mode use the Method #1 shown above. You should now be able to go into the new custom recovery mode you flashed with Odin (CMW or TWRP). It should all work now.
From this point you can download and install SuperSU to add root (if you want to).
Let me know if this works for you.

Don't think I can help, but what was the firmware you used to upgrade your tab? Was it OEM Rom? Or, one of the roms developed here? Or was it firmware for a different device altogether?
And you say no download mode or recovery mode. When you press the appropriate keys/buttons to enter download mode do you get the same screen?
I wonder the same. There's no way you'd get that screen if you're trying to get to download mode. Have you attempted through kies?
Tone160, agree. The download and recovery are totally different from the operating system and are probably in nonvolatile memory. Always available to access from basic startup based on switches pressed.
Is this what you are doing? "Restart in "Download Mode" by holding the "HOME" button, "Volume Down" and "Power" all at the same time (for about 5 seconds)."

Well just keep holding on to them for more than 5 secs and see if that takes you there.
I think your inside screen is broken.

i dont know what happened. i saw my tab updating its firmware in software update. so i wait, but when its done updating and reboot, thats what happened. its the default rom not root / not reflash.. i went to samsung service center last saturday they said im not the only one who experienced that. when they try to open or charge my tab it has no boot and also no download and recovery mode just that image.
Did you update your device or did automatically start doing it on its own? If you did not then u either some how got a bad virus with the intention to destroy ur device or the firmware update did not install right or the firmware update was bad/fake.

Hold the power and home until the screen turns black as soon as that happens hold the right keys for download mode, u have about a half a second shot to press the buttons before it loads that image or u have to reboot it again

Enter download mode (hold [VOLUME-DOWN][HOME][POWER] until buzz, then release [POWER]). At the first download mode screen where it says you can press volume-down to boot normally, press volume-down to boot normally.

If the advice above didn´t work (nothing happened when pressing the usual VOL down - home - power etc), this is how I managed:
I tried booting around 25 times with the power button released at different times. Did not work.
Tried to insert battery when pressing the 3 buttons. Did not work.
I let the battery run completely empty. Started charging the phone and pressing the 3 buttons. Did not work.
I charged the phone full (with booting the whole time....needed to put it somewhere quiet). After estimating it was full, I pulled out the battery, preparing to send it to mobiletechvideos.com (they saved me before). After a few hours I wanted to see the error message so I could write them. When I inserted the battery, I got the regular download mode! Nowthen, would I dare to boot it since I am not really sure what to flash to my phone?
I rebooted, and now the phone is back to normal. OTOH, I will not try to flash CWM/TWRP again, so goodbye custom roms (Omega )
you are a life saver!

The phone is fine now, it was just stuck on the loop and spamming home was the only way out, its fine now I've had no problems and it boots up fine
This happens...
This happens to almost everyone at some point of time. There is no need to worry as you just need to flash recovery like TWRP or CWM. To shed some light on this issue... boot loops mainly happen when you uses the incorrect version of software with your ROM or stock firmware. By using youtube you can look at the videos of your phone model and find the recovery version number needed.
For anyone who has a Note 3 T-Mobile phone who is still stuck! I am willing to make a video to show how to fix this and provide all the firmware/version numbers + links in one bundled location to make it easier.
ALL PHONES ARE VERY specific... ONLY USE THE CORRECT FIRMWARE FOR YOUR MODEL PHONE
Again, if you have a Samsung Note 3 T-Mobile, model number SM-N900T and are still lost. Let me know so I can shot a video and bundle files needed.

Don't be scared by this... just choose the correct versions before blindly trying to install a ROM. Also, only use links from main sources if you dont fell like auditing the code!
Hi guys, sorry for might be late about helping you now years later... But recently I've found something interesting about fixing this issue.
*****
Fix: (100% working in Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530H)
UPDATED: More detailed info!
# Before flashed Recovery or Root:
1. Root device using Odin or any other rooting known workaround.
2. Backup Recovery (optional), and Kernel using Rashr (available on PlayStore).
3. Flash Custom Recovery (TWRP), using Odin PC software or TWRP android app.
4. Flash backed-up Kernel.img file to Boot partition using TWRP install section.
5. Reboot system (It may take a few time to boot)
# After flashed Recovery or Root: (accidentally or without knowing)
1. Search online and download your exact Phone Stock Kernel.
2. Follow *before flashed* above ↑ from 3rd.
Bonus info:
Even after flashing TWRP, you might be able to Boot device yet, by going to TWRP → Advanced → Reboot system. (It bypass bootlooping to Recovery, while: “Set Warranty Bit : Recovery”).
That's all! Try at your own, then share it!

Need help did i brink my tablet

here the deal
had stock rom on my 10.5 T-800
decided to root used Odin 3.09 and CF_AutoRoot_Port_T800_BeansTown106.tar to root
than download flashily (sp) and installed trwt newest one and flashed Blisspop 2.0 and Gapps 5.0.1 and Super Su 2.46
than after I went in to recovery and followed all the directions booted up logged on no issues
but today I was reading and decided I wanted to flash cm-12-20150203-UNOFFICIAL-nvertigo-chagallwifi
battery level was about 85% when I was hook up and transfer the cm-12-20150203-UNOFFICIAL-nvertigo-chagallwifi to my external SD
for some reason I went to download mode not recovery mode by the 3 button combo
so I tried to exit by holding the power button to no avail.
so I entered Odin and thought maybe just to run root again so it would let me exit Odin mode
after it flashed it exited and showed the red android and rebooted and went to a black screen as if it was going to boot back up and now I have nothing
I tried to turn it back on wont turn on
I tried the 3 button combo and then hitting up don't work
I plug it in to the computer and the computer make the connection sound but no icon for it
opened Odin and it shows green but wont do anything
is there something I can do beside sending it out to get repaired
thanks in advance

Try to use resistor JIG 301kom for correctly start Download mode and to flash official Rom through Odin. Here you will find details how to do it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2999838
It also helps you get the picture Download mode and process flashing on the screen of your Tab.
Regards
All you need do is press power + vol down and hold until the tab restarts. This is a hard reset and always works unless it's a hard brick.
You have only soft bricked.
As soon as it restarts try to enter recovery or download mode.

Sounds like you don't have a custom recovery on your Tab S. You can flash TWRP recovery in Odin and see if that helps.

Also you can try to use KIES 3 for restoration of your Tab. To do this, you should take only Download mode in your Tab. For this case I recommend to you to restore only original firmware according to the name of model and serial number of your Tab. Here you will find details how to do it:

Did you flash the TWRP tar file in downloadmode using Odin?
FIXED THANKS all for the help
Finally got it working
I tried to Odin TWRP and it didn't work I used the TAR file
I was able to DL the sammobile file for the Stock rom
Odin Flashed it first time it still had to use hard reset so I flashed it again after reboot it got stuck on Samsung splash Screen
did a 3 button to recovery wiped Cashes and factory reset then rebooted it again got stuck on Splash screen let it sit for over a hour (I had PT in the morning) and when I came back it was at the Samsung Master reset screen (initial start up)
than I rerooted, flashed and installed the ROM
Thanks again for all the help and being patient with me
:good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good:
Glad to hear that everything worked out for you. I was freaking out yesterday because I was just trying to run the auto root for my device and couldn't understand why odin refused to flash it. I ended up in adb sideload mode and thought it had locked up because I could not reset it at all. Luckily I did some searching on here and found out that holding power + home + vol up+ vol down would reboot it out of that mode.
Then I found out that while my adb drivers were installed properly for the device, they were not correct in download mode which was why odin didn't find my device. If I only would have checked device manager to see the big fat yellow ! It would have been clear but yes I am just a noob lol.
