Does anybody experience random reboots when unlocking the screen?
I have them a lot when battery becomes lower but they get constant when the device is charging.
Ps: gonna take myne to shop tommorrow to get a replacement one.

Well I've only had mine for 2 days, but I've used it a lot and I haven't seen any reboots or other glitches at all.
I've had it since launch and use it heavily, no reboots.

Just got mine last night and since then it's probably rebooted about 10+ times.
I noticed it's happened mostly in landscape mode and when I'm using the default quick launch short cuts and once when just unlocking it.
Also I added "google now" widget to the lock screen and eMail, when I went to click on those the tablet also rebooted.
and this is with the batter fully charged.
Its overheating/processor issue swap yours.

Good news, so I had done all the updates and rebooted but what I had not tried was a simple restore.
This so far has seemed to have fixed the random reboots!
I also did all the updates again and still zero reboots so far!
I'm still contacting NewEgg though about the issues to make sure it's on record.
Cheers!
Push on him do a benchmark test, along using youtube and skype and facebook and then lock it and unlock it.
Push it to the limit

No reboots at all and I've had it for a week
Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
I've had mine for about a week as well and the only reboot I had was running antutu - throttle off, mpd off, 1.7/1.7 min/max, performance GPU governor. I can imagine it was heat related as I didn't cool the device before the run, but it might need some extra voltage as well.

I will try this later some time this weekend and report out (just for reference as well).
I played w/the tablet a little more yesterday and still no reboots!
I may just end up keeping it as is.
Same here, I had random reboot (CM 11) when i plug my USB cable for charging the tablet.
My second unit never had a random reboot again

I was having random reboots from the lock screen as well but I found an easy fix.... I turned of the lock screen and I never had a problem again. I rarely leave the house with it so I don't have a use for the lock screen anyway.

What's up guys. So I rooted my s3 with the qcom toolkit. I noticed that when my phone is asleep, and I try to wake up my phone by pressing the home or power button, its doesn't respond sometimes. I would have to press it couple of times to wake it up. (With obvious reasons I do wait a few seconds to press the home/power button to wake it up). I also noticed that when Im done with a phone call,my screen is black and I can't wake it up. I've had times where I had to pull the battery out. On a side note, my friend with a rooted s3 has these problems occurring as well. In a addition , I'm running paranoid android 2.54 (
Stable). I've also tries liquid smooth to see if it was an issue with the rim,but unfortunately it wasn't. So if anyone noticed this problem after the root please let me know and if you have a solution to this,I'd appreciate it if you can inform me. And sorry if this topic was already covered but I tried searching around and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

It's an issue with paranoid android.
You carried the problem with you to the second flash
Do a wipe.
Reinstall paranoid android.
Or
A diff ROM

I actually fully wiped everything from data, cache, to davik. On both occasions, I fully wiped when I went from paranoid to liquid and back to paranoid.

So from what I've been reading, I have to change the kernel ? I see that it doesn't occur with some people with their stock kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2
Every phone is different, some might not even be able to boot after flashing some kernels... You need to play with settings UV and OverClock and such and see what works best for you. There are options for profiles; in call, screen off/on, charging, and so on. You are getting issues that are rom/kernel related for the most part, try to fix it within settings mentioned above and good luck.

Hi all, i just installed cm 10.2 directly from stock, the problem that i have is that when the phone is turned off and connected to the wall there is no battery animation, I can confirm that is charging because when I turn on after a while the battery level is up.
I return yo stock and the problem still present. I don't know what happen. Make all wipes and flash several times
Also is difficult to turn on the phone after this, sometimes I have to press the power key for long time to respond.
Currently I'm on cm10.2 from today release

Hello guys.
What are your experiences with battery saver apps and moto g?
I'm having some results with Snapdragon Battery Guru and Dimmer to reduce screen brightness. I'm not rooted yet.
I've read about Greenify and certainly gonna try it when get rooted.
Would you share what you have found about saving battery?
What would you suggest?
Any ROM in special? Apps? Tips? Prayers?
Does the JB stock rom , with Motorola and Google system apps. drains too much my power?
I'm sure it does more than a custom ROM , but could you tell about this difference? How much more juice would you it save in comparison?
I use low screen brightness, no sync at all, no battery killers like Facebook, but still feel like I could have more battery time from my moto g.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone to share some useful opinion?

I use greenify (rooted). I use my moto all day normaly: some calls, 3g on (ever), some pictures, tuneIn (about 45 min.), IM+ on (with Facebook, gtalk, skype signed in), play some chess of sudoku, Surf in the web by Dolphin Browser.
I freezed a lot of apps with Titanium Backup (Motorolas apps). In the night, I have 40%

I have 41% battery left and it says 2 days, 2 hours, 34 minutes on battery.
Screen is listed at the top as usual with 44% and says Time On - 5hours 40minutes
I don't use any batter saving app or even the Motorola one because I am using the GPE ROM now.

Read what i said though, it might also be due to me flashing the ROM's and the new ROM not reading the battery correctly the first time or two.
** Don't be so eager to jump to GPE because of my post **

Because I'm near sure it was only me connecting it to the pc a couple of times, i guess i could of been wrong.
Does the graph in the battery menu, show when the battery is charged again ?
I'm back on the UK kitkat ROM, so i will see how i get on once i run the battery fully down, then fully charge, and make sure not to connect it to the pc.

Hello guys. Im using kit kat stock with greenify no rooted, and my battery last more than when i had jelly bean stock ROM.
Im using any other APP, i tried snapdragon battery saver but it did nothin, actually i noticed it was draining it faster.
Try Greenfy even if your are not rooted, it is awesome.

The battery is epic on this phone. Why do you need to improve it? It lasts way longer than a whole day. What more do you need?
On Moto G XT1033
My moto g takes 3 to 3.30 hours for charging 20 % to 100%.
Is it normal ?
I am charging with Indian charger comes with box.

The battery on this guy is sure epic. Standby time is really incredible for a smartphone. I usually last 18 hours light-moderate usage and about 12 hours of heavy usage. Note that I only use 2G since Wi-Fi is available on my home and school.

Hi,
I have bought the new tab 8.4. The screen size is good and the multi-windows feature is amazing. However, there is a huge battery drain, even if the device is in "sleep" or "power saving" moods. The cause of that is always "android system"! In my nexus 7 (2013) tab, I have never faced this problem, so I think it is the "Samsung bloatware"
My question is: Is there way to reduce this thing?
Through rooting and using Greenify, or similar; can this issue be solved?
please give me some suggestions for this (other that selling the device of course!)
Thanks
I have same battery issues but it seems something quite ramdon as not always it's happening at least to me

Hello.
I'm having an annoying issue with my tab 8.4.
Every once in a why, the screen stops responding to touch. The buttons still work, but I have to lock and unlock the tablet so the screen becomes responsive again.
It does not seem to be a HW issue, as it's easily recovered, but it's driving me nuts.
Have you suffered this issue? I don't want to send it to repair if this is a common issue that is going to be fixed with the next SW release.
Regards!

I had this problem before. It had to do something with the apps that you were using/opened which caused it to freeze the tab s. Ram might be to low I guess would be the freeze problem. But you have reflashed and restore and it still happens. So it could be a hardware problem. After reflashing what apps did you install? It could be an app causing it as it did for me.
