Hi guys,
Since the thread is closed I decided to post my problem here.
Namely, I just flashed Primou Omega 2.4.0 - Stable Release 1 ROM but I can see that mobile network date is not working.
Its checkmarked but only the wi-fi works. I cannot connect to mobile noetork.
Is there any solution for this problem?
Thanks

Hi guys,
Me Again ))
CM ROM was so bad on my ONE V that I decided to restore to original and sell my phone.
Now, I restored from the back up from my card but I'm not sure if I did factory reset before I did the restoring. Now the phone boots up but it stucks on the beats audio logo.
I guess that the boot image is wrong or something. When I connect to the PC when I'm in recovery mode it doesnt recognize it ( its not us usbfastboot )
Any advice?

In case your phone is not S-Off yet, it might be that the kernel (boot) partition has not been restored from backup properly.
So you may require to flash the stock kernel from computer using fastboot.
The phone should be accessible for flashing from computer if you start it in fastboot mode (select it in hboot menu).
good job

Hello Guys
I just installed a fresh version of the latest firmware (at least I believe) It says Andoid 4.3 baseband version N7100XXUEMJ9. The Wifi is on and it's connected to my home wifi but I can't open chrome, google play or anything, seems like connected but internet is not working. When on my laptop and other devices is working.
I did some search online and with odin i pushed on it the wifi fix for MJ2 but it didn't help. What should I do?
Thanks for your help

Guys anyone knows how I can make this work?
Due to family issues and major unfortunate changes in our home/life I no longer have time to work on free software. This project is discontinued until further notice. If you have re-hosted/mirrored/uploaded my software elsewhere please remove it.
Thanks.

Very nice work!!!
However, I can't seem to get the wifi hotspot to work I am rooted (via towelroot and verified). I enable it via your app, go to setting and wifi hotspot. Then a dialog pops up asking me to subscribe? I have S5 with Sprint running stock 4.4.2.
Thoughts?

Hi,
First reboot phone once and see if subscription nag pops up again, if so see below:
Do me a favor (I would appreciate it) Click restore via HFA, let the phone reboot and finish HFA(you won't lose any data promise)
With a file explorer navigate to data/data/com.android.porviders.telephony/databases/telephony.db
pm me this file or post it here (no unique data in it so no worries)
I will get you all sorted out.
Thanks

Sorry to have wasted your time with a reply. It seems that a reboot did fix the issue as I was able to start the Hotspot now and the nag dialog doesn't appear.
Thanks again for your help and you effort in creating this great set of tools!

Yes the phone keeps the old apn settings in memory untill another one is loaded(switch from 3g to lte or a manual switch or, of course, a reboot)
Awesome! Glad you're sorted out.

It absolutely did with TDunham's DeOdexed version.
Obtained root using tdunham [STOCK ROM][4.4.4] NK4 Kitkat ROM DeOdexed. Followed all the instructions on that thread. Im using TWRP recovery.
Downloaded Galaxy Tools from the play store. Says Galaxy Tools v2.2.0. su: Using: 2.13:SUPERSU
I click on "Enable Native Hotspot" and the phone restarts. I go back into the GT app and click on Wifi Hotspot settings and turn the hotspot on. Everytime I do this I get a pop up that says I am not subscribed.
I have uninstalled the GT app and reinstalled. Cleared all data for SU app. No matter what I do I always get the pop up saying I am not subscribed.
Any suggestion?

Maybe try uninstall su app, enable hotspot, then reinstall su app again after hotspot is working.
idone said:

After disabling SU (cant uninstall, there is no option to. Guessing since it is built into the ROM) I go into the GT app and click Enable hotspot and it says IOException.

Not sure, sorry, I made this for all stock galaxy devices, and it works on all of their official software versions(at least S3 through Note 4/Edge). I cannot say how it will work on custom roms because people change whatever they want in them. On stock everything would work as it should.

You're not stock, your deodexed, which is why it is failing. You need to be stock rooted. Why don't you Odin nk4, then root it.

Yes my "Enable Native Hotspot" is only for Sprint variant at the moment. Next version has some test for other providers, in next day or two I'll push the update out.

Try a custom kernel, most of the time when it's stuff like Bluetooth or WiFi, it's kernel related.

You can try with either. Just flash a custom recovery on your phone (TWRP recommended) and then look for Kernel's in the development thread and follow instructions.
I would suggest using This rom that includes its own kernel in the installing procedure: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...m-phronesis-mm-rom-v1-0-feature-rich-t3463244
Use TWRP 2.8.7

Exact issue that WIFI is turning On and Off, and if turned on not working.
Also Bluetooth not working too.
History:
I was on stock T-Mobile ROM, then installed TWRP and setup lineage-14.1-20170823-nightly-hlte-signed, it worked good for 2 days then WIFI & Bluetooth stopped.
I tried install stock ROM again with the same issue.
Every time I try I do full-wipe.
Many thanks for your support & help :good:

Well if even with stock you're not getting your WiFi and Bluetooth to work, I'm afraid it might be hardware related.
Only thing I can suggest is to take it to a repair center :/
