[Gapps]Light Edition Google Apps Android 4.1.2-4.4.0 - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

Hello everyone,
I made these Gapps packages for the ones and for myself who don't like to wait long to install some crap you may not need.
In these versions i just made the basic what you need for playstore and for youtube so no additions like google plus latinime etc.
All these 5 Gapps packages in one folder are around the 8-18MB while the originals are around 380MB
So it spare's you speed and bandwith
I Recommend these Gapps or Slim Gapps for Slim rom or other roms cause all those google stuff is slowing down the system
For the ones who want all these 4 gapps in one Aroma package i am busy trying to make it later if i have time.
Gapps-KK-4.4.0-Signed-UpdatedWithGtransport contains GoogleCalenderSyncAdapter and updated Gapps from 2014
Installation:
Download the zipFile
Put it on an sdcard or internal storage
Reboot into Recovery
Flash the light Gapps

Thanks! Useful work.

Great work!
Thank you!

Thank you.
Will give it a try

Would there be a possibility of you making a 4.3.1 version? Or will the 4.30 version work fine on ROMS using 4.3.1?

cptklink i believe that it is for 4.3.x so 4.3.1 also i think can you try it?
i think that 4.3.1 gapps only have updated youtube and that stuff no library change i think but if you want it i can make it

[ripped] google apps for cm7.2 port

This thread is older than earth. Feel free to lock/move/delete it.
hmm... app section
Why wouldn't someone go and download the official gapps package at http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip?
Cyanogen was asked by Google to not include these [in their rom], but most people flash gapps right behind their CyanogenMod install.

Fair enough. Thanks for the compilation(s). Hope they solve some people's data problems.
Because they had errors when using alquez's cm 7.2 port. Most files from here are from a HTC wildfire s rom.

Ran CM7.2 package
Gapps package
remove app2sd package
Booted up got the google account sign in.
Got the pub.google option, etc..
Up and running with all my stuff installed and wifi still running... (crosses fingers)
Same here, nothing wrong with the gapps package at all.
Got them from the link in Alq's thread.

Maybe not for you, but some people - like myself- have had data problems with market, gmail, etc. This is for them if you don't want it don't get it
I had data issues too, but it was definitely specific to the earlier build.
Latest build is perfect and fully stable.
For me anyway.
Just one question...
What does GAPPS contain/s?

[rom] [aosp] [4.2.1] s3 1-25-13 [toroplus] Abandoned

This is a nightly project based off of the Android Open Source Project software code and Google proprietary that I'm maintaining for myself that I'm sharing with the community.
This ROM doesn't have any added features found in most ROM's, instead I am more focused on keeping this "stockish".
If you are looking for something that is more developed I would suggest CyanogenMOD, AOKP, TeamEOS, or etc that offers more.
If you have an error or something pops up I ask that before you post about it please make sure that you are running the ROM as provided. I cannot troubleshoot anything that is related to using other kernels, mods, or themes.
Google apps are include:
Chrome
Currents
GMail
Google Calendar
Google Earth
Google Plus
Maps
Play Books
Play Magazines
Play Movies & TV
Play Music
Wallet
YouTube
"Features":
Extended Power Menu
Clear all recents button

This rom is open source.
If you would like to build from source:

Always remember that XDA started out as a great place and will remain a great place as long as we are great to each other anything used in this ROM is available upon request and feel free to use this as a base rom for any other project my ROM is un-branded.
WANT TO CUSTOMIZE THIS ROM READ THIS:
Like the ROM and want to add or remove anything or customize for yourself use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246 DSIXDA's Kitchen. Its a great kitchen for customizing prebuilt ROMs.

Thanks men perfect
How does this package differ from the standard gapp package
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
The first, most obvious difference is it's size
The second and main dinference is it doesn't contain apps, that can be installed via play market. There is everything needed for calendar, contacts and app sync, that's it
Grt work...
I use playstore only
All ****y apps are gone now..
Thanks (presd d buttn alrdy)

First things first. The original gapps package didn't work as u didn't mount system before flashing. My package won't too, so please be sure to mount system!
As I can see from your message, you couldn't flash gapps, so I suppose your system is clear. You can flash this right now. In case you have any issues reflash the rom and flash this package again
does these gapps work also on ARMv7 devices? I want to flash them on my devices because I use only play store app

[TUTORIAL][CM11][4.4.2] FULLY WORKING CyanogenMod 11

Now we have a fully working (?) cm11... the problem is that there are a lot of gapps packages and no one is "the final" one...
The point is, why we must release updated gapps every time google release new stuff... when there are other people that are already doing that?
The answer is: gapps packages for other phones break panorama on maguro
So I think that would be a good thing if I create a zip package with ONLY GOOGLE CAMERA for maguro. And i created it, picking the necessary files from dhacker29 (thanks!) 20131207 gapps.
So... WHAT DO YOU NEED to have a fully working cm11?
∗ = recommended
1) ROM
Official CM11 nightlies --- changelog ∗
PlayfulGod CM11 (may include addition features!)
2) GAPPS
Nexus 5 gapps (Standard or Core) ∗
ParanoidAndroid gapps
CM gapps
3) KERNEL (optional)
Mpokang_kernel-v10_1080p --- info
4) PANORAMA AND MMS VIDEO FIX
Panorama and mms video fix v4 (~0.4mb) by Suxsem
INSTALL IN THIS ORDER:
READ NOTES BELOW
WIPE DATA IF YOU ARE NOT YET ON CM11
FLASH ROM
FLASH GAPPS
FLASH KERNEL (optional)
FLASH FIX PACKAGE
NOTES
If you get errors while flashing be sure to be on latest recovery... you can use this one: TWRP
Not all gapps packages include Google camera! (for example Nexus 5 Core gapps doesn't include it)
If you have chosen a gapps package that doesn't include it, you can download it from here and flash after gapps: Nexus 5 Google camera
If you need Face unlock feature download it from here and flash after gapps: Nexus 5 Face unlock
Fix package must be last to flash because some kernels include files that would overwrite the fixed ones
that's it. you will not have any more problems with sound search, panorama, face unlock, play store, ecc ecc... and all this stuff is compatible with ART.
most important thing: I didn't test all this really deep. I just tested with a limited types of configurations (didn't tested with pa gapps nor with cm gapps nor with different kernels ecc ecc), i only tested with PlayfulGod cm11, GApps Standard 4.4.1, mpokang kernel and ART... so please let me know if this works for you (and please test this with PA or CM gapps, also with ART)!
You've made a good start by fixing screenshot glitch..... Wish u luck for such further development!!

while installing greenify. i discovered that was caused by a bad restoring with ROM TOOLBOX app and i fixed it deleting greenify folder from /data/data and greenify apk from /data/app
can you please try to locate something like com.whatsapp* in /data/data and /data/app and delete it?
or maybe you can try to do a full wipe, unless other users can confirm that they got the same error...
