Install:
0. Install CWM recovery. (skip it if u have)
1. Place the zip to your phone
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Full Wipe!
4. Install zip.
5. Full wipe again!
6. Reboot.
Google apps:
- Download it from here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps
- Download latest version for cyanogenMod 7
- Flash it from cwm recovery

When it boots I get a FC on Twitter and when I log in with Timescape on facebook I also get FC (yes, I did install the zip separately)
And how do I get my GAPPS back? I installed the zip but I don't see any of the apps after logging in. .

Pity, it's very unstable for me.
Lot's of FC (especially the sony.homescreen thing..), GPS doesn't work for me either.
Nice try though, looks awesome! Real pity doesn't work for me.

i think its no need as long u have the cwm recovery v2 from phiexz and ext4 partition.

nice, finally there is also a custom rom with base CM7.1

I love this rom, too bad I can't get it stable.
After a lot of tweaking it finally worked OK, but when I rebooted all the apps I installed on SD card were gone.
It made me freak out a little after putting so much time in getting it the way I wanted it.
I will definitely go back to this rom once stable (for me).
Most FC came from sonyericsson.twitter.livefeed (or something) and timescape didn't work at all.
List of issues I ran into:
Several FC: Timescape, home plug in from sony-ericsson
Disappearing apps after reboot from apps-page, no way to get them back.
Installed everything on phone, even when setting was set to "install apps to external"
Aside from that, this was an amazing rom. Love the Sony-Ericsson home tool.

Yes I am back...Anyways, this is a pure AOSP built ROM. Nothing has been added to it but for root and busybox. This is for the user who wants a pure vanilla Android experience. I will be back with my Neapolitan ROMs soon which add a few more options.

Install Clockwork recovery if you have not done so
Download ROM
*Wipe cache
*Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Above steps are opitional but at the very least wipe dalvik cache

Install Latest GApps which can be found below. You may use other GApps packages but I like to make my own...

Should be able too, just wipe dalvik cache and you should be good to go. Make backup first. Also install GApps.

thanks for the ROM. im not familiar with Vanilla, could someone shed some light on the differences between Vanilla and the other AOSP based ROMs?

Answered in the 1st part: "This is a pure AOSP built ROM. Nothing has been added to it but for root and busybox". No mods, no nothing, just stock.

No not with CNA any longer...

This may sound silly, but If I were to open up the GAPPS zip you put up here, could I go in and remove items I don't want and have it still flash properly?
It would be nice if someone put up a CWM that only included the Play Market and Talk and whatever else you can't get on the Play Market...just to keep it as simply and small as possible....also eagerly awaiting for someone to post an inverted GAPPS CWM for Jellybean**

You can do just that... just open the zip file, no need to extract it and search for system/app folder and delete what you do not want to flash.

You're welcome. The only apps in there are facelock, gmail and talk. What is taking space that is not needed are a couple of the video files, sound files and the boot screen. I have a slightly smaller version I use for myself that I can post later today for others who may want to use it.

Thank you...I'll give it a spin tonight...the Gapps are getting real big...I remember back during the Gingerbread days, they were like 10mb or less...now they're hovering at 100mb if not more.

I dont think you will loose recovery i flash this coming from xenon with wipe cache dalvik and fix permission only. I even did change the nav bar and lockring using zipthemer. Been 17 hrs with 50% remaining of course minimal usage. No issue at all

Superslim Gapps for JB 4.2.1 ONLY

Just like DQiB I was very annoyed by the size of 4.2.1 Gapps. So I decided to slim them down
So, here you are! the zip contains everything needed for a working Play Store and contacts+calendar sync, nothing else
I know OldDroid's rom contains Gapps, but in future this zip might be helpfull

Maybe you can add ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk also? Then you're bookmarks are synced with google account.

No, it's not necessary for gapps to work. you can install it manually

just to know , i set 10.1 on a friends gio and now the thing always says gapps force close.
wiped cache already ,reflashed the gapps 12122012. nothing works so i hope this will

sorry but didn't work. wiped cache and dalvik cache, even format cache , flashed the gapps reboot the system and stil the gapps fc :crying:

[PORT] [Acros S] [OFFICIAL PAC 4.2.2 v22.1]

This is a port of PAC 4.2.2 v22.1 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2177236
For further information you should go to that thread and see what the ROM is capable of.
All i have done is change the KERNEL with BPauls kernel from his CM10.1 Rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2262795
and also changed the build.prop and updater-script so that it would install on the Xperia Acro S.
All bugs present in the original ROM will most likely also be present now.
Credits go to funky0308, Shingers5 and Vertigo for the ROM and Bpaul for the kernel.

Latest Relase (14/05/13) ****Small issue with mounting the normal storage wait till i fix that before installing this version if you downloaded it, if you have already go back to recovery and install my previous version then i will fix and you can install the new one.

Download the ROM from Download mirror
GAPPS from http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
Install Instructions are:
1. Unlock bootloader.
2. Extract and Flash boot.img from hikari_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v22.1.1_Themed-v2.zip (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
3. Go in to recovery:
-- On boot led will be violet for 3 second. During this period press vol+
-- Flash ROM
-- Flash Gapps
-- Wipe data (factory reset)
-- Reboot.
If coming from BPauls CM 10.1 or Official CM10 you can skip step 1 and 2.
If coming from a previous build of mine you can skip the WIPE data part as well unless you get FC i have never had an issue.

I used the Acro S kernel from BPaul so it should work i will take a look at it tonight might just be a lib file i missed.
When i was using root explorer it did say SDCARD0 and 1 so it might have something to do with that so i will see if the microSD card is being mounted properly, been meaning to buy one so will grab one and test.
Also i will look into the proximity sensor probably the same issue with rotation too.

OK my friend, surely any file is missed about Rotation and SDCARD01 (microsd)

Did you wipe data, and cache and Dalvik cache because mine is very smooth, i use 3D launcher and camera loads alot quicker then stock. I dont want to change it much from the one im porting from. However if i do get around to building everything from source i will be sure to limit what is installed by default.

Have a question, If I come from BPaul ROM 4.2.2 if necesary Flash boot.img from hikari_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v22.1.1_Themed-v2.zip ?? or Can used the boot.img from BPAUL ??

No it isnt. You just need to have the option to be able to flash the ROM i will amend the instructions to make that clear.

CM10.1 runs alot smoother. I see many Xperia plugins and unnecessary apps.

I fixed the rotation issue but every time I think I fix the external card it disables the internal.

You could always message vertigo as he's the official PAC man and tell him what you've done and ask if you can post it in development. As long as it credits the correct people (which u already have) i wouldn't have thought that would be a problem?

Already gotten their permission never would steal someone else's hard work without there blessing. Will fix the issue with external card mounting and might do that then. Thanks

Have a questions in your Latest Relase (14/05/13) you was using PACman v22.0.1 - Themed v3 ???... or..... PACman v22.1.1 - Themed v2 ??
Because the error with External SD could be from V22.0.1 Version 3 (Old Nozomi) !!!

[Q] Gapps 4.2.2 on 4.1.2

Hi there!
I was curious if there is a way to install a fully functional 4.2.2 gapps pack on 4.1.2. Also, from my knowledge the browser for example is included in the Rom itself, so is there any way to put the browser apk from 4.2 in 4.1.2?
And my last question is if there is a way to make my own gapps, thus choosing only the things I need (no face unlock, maps and others useless things).

.... Wrong section.
Why do you want 4.2.2 gapps, when even if you flash 4.1.2 version, it will get updated through Play Store.
To make your own gapps package, just grab a existing one, unzip it with full paths, do whatever, zip it back.

Here ya go champ! As for making you own gapps, Google "AROMA installer" thats the easiest way I can think of to personalise your package if you don't know how to make a gapps package yourself.

Thanks for the hint! I managed to customize a gapps pack simply by deleting the apks I dont need. I tired it with the rom itself and it worked just fine :laugh:
