Your Card is getting corrupted.
Backup all your data on PC and Format the card. Transfer back the data.

i had a similar problem with an older card formatting it solved the problem

You hit a jackpot man. Simply enjoy!!! If you dont want then format your card to get it back to normal

Error saving camera-taken photos onto external SD card

Recently my Note 2 keeps getting errors saving camera photos onto the external
SD card.. Have to save onto internal SD card instead.. And when I later try to move the photos from the internal SD card to the external SD card, the photo gets corrupted and doesn't display at all. Anyone with this issue too..?
Not sure if this is an issue with my SD card or the firmware..? Didn't recall having this issue on the earlier firmwares.

This is the last resort I'll take.. Haha thanks for your input!
Back up all the data via a card reader or put the card in another phone.

Is it a brand new memory card or old one.. which class?
If old then may be it is corrupted
OK now my SD card is totally not being detected at all.
I tried putting my SD card into another phone and its not being detected as well. Could be a spoilt card. Its a class 4 8gb Kingston card. Could it be spoilt due to old age..?

You seem to answer yourself mate. Mine died as well but it came back after a week lol.

If it doesn't contain any useful stuff then simply format it
And try using a memory card reader n see wat happens :fingers-crossed:

[Q] Changing Micro SD

Hi Guys! I'm currently on sir Balli's Gennxt Rom, and I'm going to change my MicroSD, now I am wondering if there will be any problem, since the ROM has Ext2Int feature so I am assuming that my apps are installed on my SD card and everything, is there something I need to do before changing SD Cards to prevent my duos from being bricked? please help. Thanks in Advance for those who will help!

Nothing will happen.. Apps are installed on phone memory even if you swapped the sd card.. Only data files are saved on sd card.. So don't worry about it.. Only make a backup of that Android folder.. Which contains only data files and obb files for games and apps..

I thought the whole reason of the Ext2Int was that the internal and external memory was swapped so that your 32gb card appeared as the internal memory and vice versa?
Eitherway, I still think it would be a good idea to copy the contents of the old card to the new card to ensure everything works as it should... Unless you have any other/better ideas?

Hello,
There is a chance to recover data with software for cardrecovery. You can find it on google like memory card recovery after format.
Your may try out recuva. Use this via a card reader.
getdataback is useful also. used 2 times for note 2 without problems.

SD card write erros

I have Sandisk 64GB ultra class 10 micro SD card and Samsung Galaxy S3 phone (Cyanogenmod 10.2). I regularly encounter inconsistent write errors when trying to copy big directories (~4Gb, ~300 files). What can be possible cause of those errors? I tried to do that on PC - everything worked fine.
Maybe it is because of you format of your memory card? Do you have it in NTFS or FAT32?

Maybe because you format?
Yeah maybe you should format it and try again.
format it using the phone, you shouldn't have a problem, otherwise it could be the memory card, although i've used sandisk for over 20 years, from 8mb tf to 128GB microsdxc, not a single problem.
