This is N7105XXUEML3 Android 4.3 for the i317 Variants (except Verizon/Sprint) .
This ROM is pure international stock N7105 for the i317 and i317M.
So if you are a purist when it comes to ROMs or simply want a ROM that just works then this ROM is for you.
This is a great ROM to use as a base for modding or as a daily driver.
Stability, performance and battery life are my main objectives.
If you want to use all of part of this ROM to build your own ROM, credit is all I ask.
Special thanks to pvsgh and cnote74 for testing this ROM.

will report problem shortly
AT&T has still not released their update to 4.3. I flashed this one in the meantime and am very pleasantly suprized. With Devil Kernal, this stock ROM is more reliable and out performs custom ROMs (4.3 and above) that I have tried. Imiss some of my fancy gadgets, like pocket mode and kill app, but Ilove the stability and power that this ROM provides. It easily OCs to 1800 cpu and GPU scales up to 800mhz easily (not too many ROMs have been ably to do that). However, testing shows no benifit to scaling GPU over 666mhz, and scaling above 544mhz gives only moderate benifit. I am still experimenting with CPU voltage. It has been my experience that Devil Kernal is way over clocked for most ROMs. Every phone is different, so proceed cautiously and back up often when messing with cpu voltage. My UV = -75 globaly so far, 1705 and 1800 uv = -125; stable as a bull I had to use trickster Mod to access voltage. Devil app does not let me into voltage.
Thank you for your work. Samsumg got this ROM right. It definately raises the bar.

First, why say that wifi is not working AGAIN when it was stated two posts above??? Wifi does work out of the gate with stock kernel included in ROM if you flash bootloader via ODIN in Skynote OP. Wifi is working great for me. Second, you have to let the ROM settle for a little bit before saying something is "laggy". It is running phenomenally for me and feels like the most stable 4.3 TW ROM I have flashed yet.

Hi OP, I have a query , How do you know your rom is "The best international ROM"? Has it been tested against others in a trial? Just wondering where this type of allegation comes from?
Thanks,

Why would it be an allegation? An allegation is accusing someone of something bad, whether it is true or not is secondary with an allegation.
You mean alleged.

I don't have a working Note 2 anymore; mine broke and I decided to spend the money on the Note 3. That said I will continue supporting this device for as long as we get updates from Samsung. I asked for testers and I got great help from them. So if you are interested in testing this ROM just send me a PM and I will add you to the list.
Thank you for the tip on the devil kernel. I will look into it to see if I can include it as an option during installation.

It will be slow coming, but I will. At this point because of the many changes in 4.3 I want to first get it stable before I start adding features.

Have you tried the devil kernel mentioned a few post ago? After a new flash the device may need anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to settle down.

That's a known issue with 4.3. You can get the root files from here and flash from recovery after flashing the ROM. The original thread is here
That said, I already have those components being flash at the end of the flashing process. The only thing you need to do on first boot is to go to the play store and update the SuperSu apk and then run to app to update the su binary.
I'm having issues with some apps that require root + writing on to the system. I'm wondering if it's a KNOX related thing because SE for android status is currently enforcing.

The KNOX files have been removed from this ROM. Did you update the SuperSU app and the su binary on first boot? If not you can get the root files from here and flash from recovery. The original thread is here
And the Stock kernel is in Enforcing mode. You would have to flash a custom kernel with Permissive mode enabled by default.
Android 4.3 and required bootloader
I have updated the OP with instructions on how to update the bootloader for the i317/i317M devices to avoid some issues with WIFI and other parts of Android. Flash at your own risk.

hold on.....so....after allt eh fuss waiting for sony to update to ics....we already have now a working JB rom for xperia s?
is this still in early stages or is everything working as should be?
i had always said i want to keep this phone stock.....but after waiting ages for sony to sort out their software, i'm thinking i might try this at some stage.
what are the benefits and drawbacks of this rom?
i.e. what is present in this rom that isn't in stock, and vice versa?
(and most importantly of all.....how is battery life?)

Anyone know if we have to format System before flashing the kernel? And if so how do I do this with fastboot? Is it just the same as data wipe/factory reset in CWM?

From seconf post "before flash it is important to FORMAT SYSTEM
this is not included in updater-script yet
so it has to be done manually"
Do the "kernel.elf" be boot.img in .zip file like CM9?

so....if we want to know anything about the rom we are potentially flashing to our £400 phone......then we shouldn't bother?
i dare say i'm capable of flashing a rom, i was forced to do it many times with my useless wildfire s.....i don't think it's that unreasonable to ask for a few pro's and cons?
e.g. what's the battery life like? do we lose panoramic and 3d camera options? do we lose nfc tags? etc...

Thanks goes out to: My tester @razen_kain. He tests on the S2 but I build the same ROM for both devices. I test the Note 2 versions

Due to failed attempt to make it checked default. HOWEVER if you enable it, it does work even if the check isn't sticking. I promise, I just tested it and installed earlier. Didn't realize the check didn't stick as it continued to work. Saw when you posted this. It's weird, but it's good. It'll get cleaned up

Well theoretically I could if it's cm11 supported but if it requires a different build and if this doesn't work I'm sure it would I'm not sure I'll have the time. Have 3 rom threads and 3 kernel threads as well. I could maybe get you a build sporadically but I build for devices have mainly so I can test everything first hand

Whatever you can do, when you get a chance would be very much appreciated, but with everything as you mentioned, you're already doing I understand the low priority. Like I said if you get the chance it would be really cool. I know it needs Samsung apps, which in turn, comes with s health, gear manager, s voice exc. I'll just wait and hope. Great ROM nonetheless. :S

Flashed to give it a go, it's always nice to see new Roms pop up, considering this is an older device. Rom itself is really nice and fluid and a got a few nice extras that CM doesn't have.
One note though, I tried flashing with Shift Kernel 1.8 and just got stuck at logo. I haven't read through the whole shift thread yet, which I should have I know, but a heads up for others. On stock kernel though, things are running really nice with no complaints. Thanks heaps!

Might flash this ROM later today, one question though didn't see it under flashing instructions but saw the link under downloads. Is superuser built into this ROM or do we need to flash it (to get root access) with the ROM and gapps?

So what's the verdict on this ROM? Is it stable enough to be a daily driver?
EDIT 1/5/15: Been using it for a couple of days now, and with the new update, the main problem I had (wifi) was corrected. It's a very good daily driver. Haven't had any other issues. Still not sure if the battery is better than Kit Kat, but time will tell.

Ok. Thanks. I think i'm gonna work my way through all of the Lollopop ROMs one by one (including this one) until I find one good enough to replace my stock ROM.

Alright. I flashed this and had some kind of error in german i think. So i wiped flashed and flash chainfire supersu.
Everything works so far although i use mostly basic features. The wifi has no problems. No wificalling in this rom as expected.
Good work .

Is anybody able to restore titanium backup app data? I can restore the apps but if i restore the data the app wont open it just crashes.
Just make sure to flash the latest chainfire supersu for titanium backup to work. I have no problems.

Also quick note is that you lose wifi password if you reboot. Have to enter pw again.
OP says to flash the new version over the old. What if we didn't start with the first one? Can we just flash the new V1? Or do we need to flash the old one first, and then flash the new one over it?

Are their any massive battery drains in this rom. Because i had to odin back to stock rom because of it.
Is there any way to adjust the sound levels to have more steps? Even at level 1 it's super loud, and distorts the speaker.

Meh,I actually dont know.
Be sure to go to the KCAL thread, install the Color Control App and see if it recognises KCAL modules.
If it doesnt, flash my kernel if you want.
If it does, the kernel inside the PAC build is for the second half of variants(not for 6045K and matching models)
Would I be able to flash this rom on this? Also where can I find the g apps for this phone? I'm currently using a nexus 5 as my dd but would like to give this phone a try for atleast a month or so.

Yes, all custom ROMs for this device are universal. But, not guaranteed to be stable. On some devices, it'll cause random reboots.
Go to OpenGapps. Select 64bit, 5.1.1, and whatever package you want to install.

Its just a matter of kernels.
The one inside the rom should be good for 6045I.
If not(random reboots),then go to my AndroidFileHost folder, and download my kernel.

I asked in one thread what KCAL was...but see here it has to do with color control...still waiting to find out what makes it "better than ARDE" since it's missing many of the governors. (specifically smartmax). No disrespect or sarcasm intended. I'd just like to know what it does better.

To me,it is better.
ARDE lagged painfully for me(even more after installing Xposed),and I only used it because of KCAL.
But if you don't experience lag,and want the governors, freely use ARDE.

Have you tried it ? Is camera fast as on euphoria? I found out its the fastest and the best camera rom for our device.
Installed it, so far so good. I made minor mistake, did installed google cam and one from this rom is now replaced. Can you provide signed zip to flash form twrp ? It would be nice. Thank you.

Eh, that'd be great if the batteries on this device was Ni-Cd. A full charge resets the battery stats.
Rotating between ROMs also wipes battery stats. every time you wipe data, you wipe battery stats because it is stored in the data directory.
I'm also getting the 9 hours till charge.
It's likely an issue with the ROM.

What ones do you suggest sir:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=44605
or
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=48914
I remember you saying something about the 2nd one was made for the 6045K but could work with the 6045I. I may have to test them when I can - Phone is my daily driver now so I tend not to try as much new stuff lol. Right now I use the ARDE with no issues, so I do have a stable kernel to return to when done testing.

I smashed the thanks button:good: Going to try this in a few days and thanks for all your hard work. I've been trying so many different ROM and all the one that I like are base on an international port. I experience random lockups and reboots with even the most stable ROMs. At the moment I'm looking for something more stable with all functionality (Wifi calling, group texting, etc...). Hopefully this ROM is it. Would I be able to run security updates on this ROM?

I prefer running stock myself, just install Xposed and use different modules to customize the ROM the way you want it.

No, ROM will not upgrade your bootloader.
Edit: battery was somehow low...
I installed this ROM and going to test drive it. Is there anyway to get call recording on this?
Hello, just to let you know that I've tried to get this running on EPE3 bootloader/modem for the last 8 hours with no luck. First, I odined EPE3 base (I was actually on EPG2 base but rolled back because someone had mentioned that they got better battery on EPE3 base and my battery has been less than stellar, so I thought I'd give it a try. Anyway, I booted up stock EPE3 no problem. Then I wiped everything 3x, flashed this and a debloat script that I've always used, and BeastMode kernel and waited like an hour with the T-Mobile logo on the screen. Gave up and flashed just this Rom and the BM kernel. Waited an hour, no luck. Flashed just this ROM and the debloat script, after about 45 minutes, it booted, but only for about 15 seconds, then bootlooped. And I've wiped everything except for my external SD card 3x in between each attempt. I modified the debloat script to only remove the most safe to remove items, and flashed ROM and script again, waited an hour, no dice. Finally, I decided to just flash the ROM and nothing else, went to shower, make some lunch, take care of other things. After an hour and a half, still stuck on T-Mo loading screen with blue flashing LED. I tried flashing another ROM with no problem, about 10 minute load. So, I don't believe this works on EPE3 base. After all those attempts, I only got to the setup screen once for about 15 seconds before it bootlooped and that still took almost an hour to get there. Flashed the Deodexed version. Just FYI.
Also, I'm on an N910T not T3 if that makes a difference.
I flashed Deodexed it booted no problems on 910T PE3. Took bout 15mins.
SM-N910T....with a lil Note 7 thrown in.
I wiped, flashed and I am getting the fingerprint sensor doesn't work error. How do I fix this. I have tried everything a semi-newb knows thru odin and twrp. I don't mind losing all data, I just want to get back to stock with fingerprint sensor working again and then restore apps. Please help.
Set up and running great..Thank you good to be back in stock for a bit.

Yeah, stock is good, as everything works.
I've been test driving this ROM for a few days and I must say is refreshing to go back to stock. No more lockups, freeze, or random reboots. I do miss some of the aesthetic and features the other N7 ROM offers but everything just works on this ROM: ) Please keep this ROM updated if perhaps a security update get release.
just an fyi..... this seems to be most stable MM update so far for Note 4, may be Samsung noticed so many people are having crashing/reboot issues on previous MM update.

You don't have to upgrade your modem/bootloader to install this ROM. EPG2/EPE2 will work.
