I apologize if this isn't the right place, but is there any way to look into unlocking the GSM SIM portion of the phone with these ROMs, don't have sprint plan anymore(had to quickly move to brazil for a job) and It's SIM locked. Again, apologies if this isn't the right place.

I know for one thing, one of the mods for the Sprint variant that has yet to make an appearance is a wifi tether mod. I know there are many folks interested in it and if you can get it to work that would be awesome. Maybe even adding a separate flash zip file to enable wifi tether would be awesome.

Does anybody have a working link?

Perhaps upload it to Mediafire? I know Dropbox is not a good way to share files since they limit the amount of huge downloads.

Tried flushing and got an error on the update binary something or other. Gonna wait to try another download. Thanks rocko!

6. Select the ROM zip.
7. Install.
8. YOU MUST WIPE DATA IF COMING FROM ANOTHER ROM. My ROM updates won't need a data wipe.
9. Hit thanks
10. Reboot and Enjoy let it settle and wait for the screen to timeout before pressing any buttons or setting up your device!!!
**VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Do NOT flash ANY other mods to this ROM. They WILL break the customization feature. Also.. DO NOT USE ANY OF MY MODS OR MY WORK IN ANY OTHER ROM!

We're working on getting him a device so he can further optimize the kernel, Gpu/cpu oc, init d, create more optimized roms, etc. Please help donate to get him a device. Currently there are only a few testers that can't necessarily test in a timely fashion (myself as I have a family). Any little donation to him would be appreciated to myself, him and this community.

Add WiFi to the list of bugs. Mine connects and then disconnects couple seconds after. Doesn't reconnect unless I manually go in and select to connect but just does the whole thing again of disconnecting.
Edit: turning WiFi off and then on fixes it. Also upon reboot it reconnects and stays connected.
Edit2: WOW!!! This is the first ROM I've used that deep sleeps from the moment the screen turns off. Trickster mod is reporting that deep sleep activates the moment I turn off the screen. Is that actually possible?

Also, on the WiFi, use advanced options, it fixes it quickly. As far as deep sleep, yes, I am reporting the same. Hats off to @oblikas, he is also great to work with.

To have a more faster and more fluid Android Experience follow these steps
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to 'About Device'
- Tap 7 times on 'Build Number'
- This will open a menu called 'Developer Options'
- Scroll till you see ;
- Window Animation Scale = Set This to .5X
- Transition Animation Scale = Set This to .5X
- Animator Duration Scale - Set This to .5X
- Close settings and end the task
- Now you have a speedier Android Experience

Will look to flash this tomorrow now, but out of interest, where is the backup held? Does it not get deleted on factory reset, etc? Or is it OK as long as data isn't erased?

Back up is saved to sdcard or internal memory /TWRP or /CWM depending on what recovery you use. When you erase it in recovery it just clears where the OS is installed so the new one can install over it. None of your data or that back up get touched

Its stock. Like the title says. I like LGUI 3 look. That is where that widget came from. I'll upload stock widget as well. Try the toggles too and screenshot them to me please. There will be more addons. I'm going for a trickdroid style with lots of tweaks

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][2/9/14] 4.4.2 Kit Kat BAKED [LS980] - USB TETHER+GPS LTE WORKS!

Oh hey there guys I don't know how this thread got started, I guess I accidently uploaded my unofficial test build for all to try. Flash at your own risk! LTE with phone and mms have been fixed and added a lot of different network providers!
Please take notice that this is unofficial and may not be perfect, yet.

Update: 2/2/2014 - After spending a few days sorting out issues, we come one step closer to finding a solution to our problems. I was having an issue with my test build getting through Setup Wizard but after noticing the problem, there should be no problem.
We simply just need to update out beta gapps is all.
A quick little change log for you guys for the 2/2/14 build:

In About Phone Section Build Says 2/2 but it's really 2/3
If your internet doesn't work right away via the Play Store just do a reboot.

Good question should work by default just ignore the activation of mobile data, skip it

I am working on inverting gapps for the theme that will be default, right now I am using gapps-kk-20131031.zip

Do we need to flash g apps? And how do i go about skipping activation and still get data? With it being 4.4.2 won't i not be able to update prl/profile?

SMS restore not working as well
So far this ROM is awesome for me. Doesn't have the loud call volume which is sweet. So far the only issue...which is kinda minor is that when I try to use SMS backup and restore...it appears to restore my sms messages...but they are empty. And as soon as I close the app and come back...all the ones restored are gone. New messages are great and work fine.

Bugs/issues:
Not much,
1. To access 30 toggles reset your toggles through the notification panel option in the stock settings app.
2. Multi-locker app will force close the first time you open it and turn it on but never again, works perfectly after.
3. Boeffla doesn't work with stock kernel, only devil or agni..
4. You can set the transparency of the accuweather widget included with rom by setting up the widget on your homescreen, allowing it to locate your position, then tap on it, tap the 3 dots in the top right corner, press settings, then go to transparency..boom, profit..

Your wish is my command..lol..link up...ya gotta sign up for a mega account though..maybe another mirror later but im having problems with afh..it wont let me upload more than 3.7mb right now..if anyone feels like helping me out with a dev host link or something id really appreciate it

if you want i can mirror it for you. should take about 5 minutes or so 10mb/s upload here.
EDIT: also AFH is under a maintenance check so upload is disabled until they finish just wait 30 minutes. and then upload again
