What is an audio enhancer that can be used for the I747M s3? I am running stock 4.1.2 kernel if it matters and rooted.

I agree with leezrd. Viper is the best. I have tried others but they don't even come close.

Hey Android Gang, I miss Beats Audio and doesn't seem to work with this ROM. Which Audio Enhancements are you guys using? Looking for a good one that makes a noticeable difference.

I'm using the Beats enhancement that was posted in the N7100 section. What happened when you tried to follow it?

I have been debating on installing pimpmyrom. So is it nice?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
Some of the features are nice like how it adds the sound apps and some of the memory optimizations. Some of it seems placebo just watch what ya check off for internet connectivity cuz it can break access to some websites I've noticed

I'm using JetAudio Plus and it's built-in enhancements seem pretty great for me.

Hello, I have using my Voodoo sound on all my other phones, until I got my S3, for some reason I can't find a ROM that is compatible. Is there a way or a ROM that I can use my Voodoo sounds app with ?
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
If my memory serves me right its usually baked in a kernel and has to be supported by the person who develops voodoo so unless he supports this phone not sure if u can use it on the GS3

You have to have a wolfson dac for voodoo sound to work. The Exynos S3 has it Qualcomm S3 does not.

Maybe try awesome beats, or use trickster app for setting high sound on. Just I guess you are using custom Rom/kernel

I'm actually on stock. No root. No custom kernel.
I've noticed that the sound on my aosp roms are much lower than on the TW roms. Is there a mod or something to increase the volume on my phone.
I even compared an AOSP rom with my sisters stock TW S4 and hers was definitely louder.

Install fauxs kernel or any other that has his mod for louder sound. Then get faux sound to control the volume level.

I actually prefer the kernel by ktoonsez. Here is the link for the aosp version http://goo.gl/UDEdk. It has the volume mod enabled as well.

I was using PAC rom and installed the KT kernel and it was restarting every couple of minutes. Do you think faux will work on the GE infamous rom. That Rom is based on TW from what I hear.

I don't overclock, I've been curious to try it though. But I'm more interested on increasing the volume right now

I asked you about that because ocing can cause instability, but that's not the case for you. Look at fauxs thread, read the op, then follow the links and you will find what you're looking for.

I'm running neak kernel currently but I was wondering if there is another kernel that allows you to tweak the volume. I have viper also install but I'm looking for a kernel as well. Any help you guys can give would be great

The latest Perseus kernel lets you tweak the audio. You can find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33930347
Actually works pretty good. And works even better with this MOD:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gokhanmoral.stweaks.app
And you wouldn't need VIPER then..
