AOSP low sound - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I've noticed that the sound on my aosp roms are much lower than on the TW roms. Is there a mod or something to increase the volume on my phone.
I even compared an AOSP rom with my sisters stock TW S4 and hers was definitely louder.

Install fauxs kernel or any other that has his mod for louder sound. Then get faux sound to control the volume level.

I actually prefer the kernel by ktoonsez. Here is the link for the aosp version http://goo.gl/UDEdk. It has the volume mod enabled as well.

I was using PAC rom and installed the KT kernel and it was restarting every couple of minutes. Do you think faux will work on the GE infamous rom. That Rom is based on TW from what I hear.

I asked you about that because ocing can cause instability, but that's not the case for you. Look at fauxs thread, read the op, then follow the links and you will find what you're looking for.

ROM Close to Stock But Faster

Anyone recommend a ROM that has touchwiz and all the samsung apps but is faster?
you can flash it and try them out.
One that supports overclocking maybe?

Definitely WanamLite! I immediately felt the smoothness with that ROM. On a side note, I have a question about flashing ATT ROMs on Canadian variants. I flashed Wanam (and loved it) but my phone kept constantly trying to connect to ATT DM Manager, which obviously won't work since I'm on Bell. Then after a while it would just show "AT&T Software Update has stopped working". There a way to bypass this or something?
Kyan
I'm digging the KyanRom with the KT747 kernel. I'm still trying to find the balance of nice performance and even nicer battery life. The KyanRom fits all of your criteria.
One more for WanamLite. No matter what ROMs I try, I always end up back at this one, everything just works and the battery life is stellar.
Wanam is good.
But Nostalgia is much smaller (150MB smaller). Plus you can reodex it for extra smoothness.

what the lightest touchwiz rom here ?
Lightest on here, I would guess battery king. Lightest ive seen is xtralite, but you wont find it on here due to its default kernel choice

I think of the more interesting and light touchwiz Rom is the AOSP Project Rom which is at around 430MB compared to Omega or ARHD which is 1Gb and above.

AOSP Project Rom is based on touchwiz. The dev has only replaced the Samsung apps such as phone, sms, etc with aosp default apps. Otherwise the framework is touchwiz.

Maybe, but in my experience in its default setup this rom will give you the best battery life (I tried Battery King and it was good, but this was better).
BTW, not sure if you're allowed to post it here, XDA doesn't like the kernel choice.

Most stable Rom.

I was wondering what the most stable rom for the t mobile galaxy 2 is. I've tried lots of 4.2 roms and most of then are very buggy or battery consuming. Thanks in advance.

Perseus is definitely the kernel for you if you like all its features. I do not believe there is an AOSP kernel that has all the features but the SOAPkernel which is found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2186037 is a decent kernel for the AOSP roms. It is an OC kernel and made by the same developer that made all the JEDI roms and Saber kernel.
Hope it helps, but I would stick with the TW roms, Battery life is better too.

I co-sign this. Battery life using Beanstalk plus Devil kernel compares to no other ROM I've personally used. Easily 24hrs with 6-7 hrs screen time. Using Viper for sound and it sounds amazing.
Thanks guys......I'll start checking out the kernels Where do you get viper sound?
I'm actually running illusion ROM right now. I'm trying to like the aosp ROMs but the h+ icons bother me, not having audio tweaks in my kernel bothers me, I like the Samsung keyboard and I can deal with not having multi window because I have halo.

Aosp and Bluetooth audio

Like nonfunctional bluetooth? I understand where you are coming from, for sure. I used AOSP for a long time, just couldn't deal with the issues anymore. TW will never be as fast as AOSP, but if you debloat it properly (see my signature), it's good enough. At least I don't have to wonder if the thing is going to work when I need it.
