I use Windows XP Pro
1. Active sync can't connect using Bluetooth
I set HD to port 5 as it says, the PC able to connect stereo and everything else but not Active Sync. Any suggestions.
2. I keep Notes on SD Card and Active Sync won't sync Notes from SD. As far as I know in my long ago MIO168RS with WM5 I did not have this problem. When I asked HTC they replied that notes have to be on root….why? I want them on SD this choice should be mine not HTC. Any suggestions.
Hi guys,
I wonder if anybody can shed some light on a problem I seem to be having with my HTC Desire, which recently replaced my IPhone.
I am trying to sync my ITunes library to my HTC desire. The library, with all the playlists, is approximately 7GB in total.
I purchased a Sandisk 16GB Micro SD Card (not the EBay type) and attempted to sync my music with missing sync for Android. There are approximately 900 songs in the library but only 400 or so sync. Here's the strange part. Although 400 songs sync, not all are playable by MixZing or TuneWiki on the handset. So I looked through the SD Card on Mac and Windows and all 400 songs appear to be there, with the correct extension and all, but they won't play on ITunes on the Mac. When I try to play the songs on Windows Media Player I get a message saying the file type does not match the format, or something along those lines.
I thought it might be Missing Sync for Android with the problem so I tried DoubleTwist and I got the same error. DoubleTwist synced about as many songs and folders from my ITunes library. Strangely however, some of the folders on the SD Card when viewed on Windows Explorer or the Finder are empty. There are shed loads of folders but no songs inside them.
I thought it might be the SD Card so I returned it and bought a 32GB Kingston SD Card. Again, the same problem.
I'm running Android 2.2 on the HTC Desire unrooted.
Strangely, the capacity on the SD Cards seems to be reduced by about 4GB so the songs may be there but are corrupted in the transfer process - I guess.
Anyone have any ideas it would be much appreciated as this is really disappointing.
Thanks
No on ehave any idea I take it?
Hi, you can check out SyncMate - it can sync your Android devices and Mac (Contacts and Calendar are syned for free, iTunes, iPhoto, folders and backup option are available in Expert Edition).
If you want to sync iTunes, just connect your Android phone in a flash drive mode to your Mac and sync it as if it is a common USB drive. So, once your device is connected - you can sync musiс from Mac to Android and vice versa. If there is enough space in your Android device and tracks are all in the same format - they will be synced. Details about Android sync you will find here http://mac.eltima.com/sync_mac_android.html
Hey all
Can't instal doubletwist on Windows 7 for some frustrating reason so i can't sinc or backup my phone. Transfer pics music etc. Are there any other programs I can use?

Hi guys,
Quick question... I'm trying to sync music between my note 10.1 2014 and galaxy note 2. I downloaded google play music and I can sync music from my PC to my devices by downloading "music manager" for the PC which uploads them to the server
My question is if I Download a song on my phone can I somehow put it on the google play server so that it syncs to my devices??
....I guess I could copy the song to my computer and then sync it using music manager but that is a lot of steps... Would just like go upload to the server from my note 2

OK, you should setup your sync in a right way so that you could access the SAME content from ANY devices. The source should be store on the cloud so you could access from any devices and from any where. 2 way sync should be used so that when you change/modify/edit from any devices it should update your central source location then sync to all other devices Here how I did mine:
1) On your PC install Google Drive - This will create an offline folder on your PC where it auto sync to your Google drive cloud storage. If you change/modify/add the Google drive on your PC, it will update the Drive on the cloud. For the PC you should allow ALL folders/files to be sync to the cloud.
2) On your device - install "Google Drive" and "Autosync for Google Drive" - On the device, open Autosync for Google Drive and select ONLY folder you want to sync, obviously you don't want to sync other folders, cause you don't need to. In your case, choose Music folder from the Cloud and select 2 way sync. Done
Now if you download songs to your PC, these songs will auto upload to Google Drive (cloud), then sync to ALL of your devices that you configure to sync. Same thing if you download songs to one your device (phone/tablet), it will auto sync to the cloud then again auto sync to your PC and other devices. As you can see your PC and all your devices always in sync, no matter which device you modify or add.

Not a problem, if your music stored on Google drive, if you tab on the song, it will ask which player you want to use (what ever players are installed on your device), of course Google play music is in there, you can install third party player like Poweramp etc... and pick one as default player so next time it won't ask to choose anymore.

Exactly what I want but when I play the songs from Google drive they only play individually and I can't hit "next song" and I can't play the next song unless I exit out of the current
song... Is there a folder somewhere so that rather then using a folder on my drive to sync to, I sync to the google play music folder/server ?
What I like about using google music is that all the songs are displayed at once and I can shuffle through them quickly

Create the playlist on your PC browser or from the Google Play music app and the playlist will sync to all devices. REMEMBER IN ORDER TO PLAY MUSIC AND PLAYLIST you need to upload all your songs to GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC CLOUD, not google drive cloud.

Just purchased a Note 10+. I am running Outlook 2007 on a Win 7 PC. Is there any way to sync my PC's Outlook Calendar and Contacts with my Note 10+?
With my previous phone, an HTC10, there was an HTC Sync Manager software program on my PC, and syncing was done through a USB cable. I can also easily sync my iPad to the PC through iTunes and a USB cable.
Is there anything similar for my Note10+ with my aging PC? TIA!
I use DejaOffice suite. It has worked well for me, and has a cloud sync feature for easy of updating in both directions (PC to Phone).
