Slickwraps sent me one of these units for review purposes and I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Pretty solid unit. Might order one of them in black.
Here is a review I made if you guys are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuEXoDQcs7o
Are these decals popular for phones? I remember some companies released them for the iPhone 3G/3GS a few years ago but I never personally researched into them until a while ago.
Just looking at the dbrand and xgear threads here in XDA, I'd say they are pretty popular. I've never heard of the brand before, but after looking at their website, these appear to be pretty comparable to the dbrand skins and xgear skins. To give credit where its due, Slickwraps does have a much larger selection of colors than either of the other 2 skin brands. They even have a glow in the dark one, which is really cool and some glittery ones for the ladies (or guys, if that's your thing ). Great find, OP. :good:
Edit: It also appears that they're made in the US if that matters to anyone.

I have a few of these wraps for my Pebble. Very good quality and customer service is one of the best IMO.
They have glitter and glow in the dark ones too! and last day to get 20% discount.
Thanks for the video.

Comrade, I noticed on some of the pictures from their website, the nexus cutout on the back seems a little...off. On the nexus logo, the letters are all supposed to be lines of the same thickness, but some of the images appear to be thicker on the "S" or perhaps thinner on the "nexu". Are you noticing this with your review skin? I couldn't really tell from the video.

In my experience the Nexus cut out was spot on. Perhaps they fixed the issue before they sent me my unit.
I'm not even exaggerating when I say how impressed I am by the accuracy of the cutouts. They were extremely accurate, down to the less than 1mm diameter microphone at the top.

Also found out you can be randomly selected to win one of these devices (Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, etc) if you purchase one of these decals from the Slickwraps website today (Black Friday deal). They posted a video about it on their Youtube page. Looks like a interesting deal.
Actually never mind, the deal is for tomorrow (since Black Friday is tomorrow).

I thought so, because the carbon fiber color is somewhat different than the one from dbrand or stickerboy.
But, actually I prefer their color. Their red carbon fiber and dark brown leather are very nice.
Is their quality comparable to the 3M Di-Noc one? Anyone can share their experience? Do they leave residue when remove?

I have had a few for my Pebble and I have replaced a couple due to deep scratches that the skin protected my Pebble from. When I removed them there was no residue to speak of at all.

Yes, I believe they use 3M DiNoc. It had a 3M backing. Also, they have a live chat feature and I asked them and they said it's all 3M DiNoc.

Well for starters, it ruins the crystal clear beautiful display.
I use it on the sides and back for a grippy feel.
SGP on the screen.
I have the same setup, I use SGP for the screen and Best Skins Ever for the body. But to compare all the wet install type shields, they will all have the orange peel effect but from my experience, Best Skins Ever is minimal and it isn't nearly as grippy feeling as the Zagg. In other words, your screen is still nice and smooth and not grippy if you use the Best Skins Ever screen protector.
Here are some pictures of the BSE on the Nexus S from a while ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10398198&postcount=6
Do BSE skins for the SGN come with separate pieces for the battery case and device frame? Hard to tell from the Nexus S pictures. I used to use them on iPhones, but of course battery replacement was not an option with those...

They always have come with the pieces separate for me, at least when I got it for my Nexus One, Nexus S, and Galaxy S2... so I'm assuming it's the same thing for the Galaxy Nexus. If it doesn't then I will be very surprised.

From past experience, the screen cover is pretty much edge to edge everywhere. The textured back was kind of weird with the skin (I had a Galaxy S2 before this with the same textured back). At first when you put it on, you will notice gaps between the cover and the textured back, like it wasn't really on all the way. I left it alone and after about 2 weeks or so, it's like it dried out even more or shrunk to the textured backing and it looked good from then on out.

I'm having a hard time visualizing what this is. The images they have are of the phone and not the individual protectors. Anyone have pictures or anything to support the product? You mentioned this works with the extended battery, does that include the verizon model and does it leave any abnormal bulge. The high gloss case from verizon fits really nice but the speaker cutout has a small gap. With OCD its very annoying.

I have to say though, after using it for a week I took it off, and I had forgotten how slim and light the phone is.

I couldn't find the Black Matte v3 cases on Amazon during CES. I ended up ordering a transparent black which I'm unsure if I'll like. I really wanted the black matte as shown in the video and seeing it makes me want it more.
yeah, the guys were at ces, but contact them im sure they ll help you out
I like the case, but I want one in white. Anyone has an email for them, or will I have to open a ticket?
I would love white, but I bought my GF a white TPU case last year and the thing is dank now. I bought her a pink one when I ordered my Diztronic case.
I'll see about the smoke gray. It might not be too bad. I like my SGP Black case now because I don't even notice its on. The black blends in with the screen so well it just feels normal.

You're right. I bought a white TPU case from Diztronic for my Thundebolt last year, and in a couple months, the color went from (somewhat) white to a ugly combo of ugly yellow/pinkish white. Of course it was a glossy version, so perhaps a matte white combo would work better... maybe...
Right now I have a Hybrid S-line TPU that I got for a buck from eBay, and I just love how the white rim of the case contrasts so well against the black face of the phone. It doesn't fit with the extended battery cover though, which is a bummer.
just bought one on ebay !

WOW! i love it. hardly feels like i have a case on this phone. really does a great job at retaining the slim factor of the phone. why can't they make more cases like these??
Nice! But...
I purchased 3 of the Bear Motion cases. Black, gray and blue. I really love the sleekness of the case but I wish they would have more of a lip on the screen side.
The other problem that I see is that the upper right hand corner could have a better fit. The blue case that I received will eventually "pop" out of that corner.
Like many of us, after buying the n7 the search for the prefect accessories for it started. In my case it was a search for a screen protector and a case. The screen protector was an easy find because I've been using spigen screen protectors on my devices for several years. Spigen hasn't disappointed. The spigen screen protector is excellent and fulfills my needs.
The next accessory required some trial and error. Do I want a case or a sleeve? I knew that I wanted minimum added bulk. So, I bought a moko ultra slim case and a ceocase leather envelope pouch I found on eBay. I tried the moko for a week. Although it is a good case, I realized that I prefer a naked n7. This led me to buy a dbrand skin. The dbrand skin is simply great. The fit is superb. It adds a touch of color (I got a yellow) and minimizes fingerprints on the back plate. It adds no bulk to the n7.
The ceocase leather pouch is a sleek and simple envelope style pouch that has a magnetic catch. The interior is felt lined making the n7 easy to slide in and out of the pouch. The pouch is well stitched and precision cut. It offers a good good amount of bump and scratch protection.
I am now set. I have essentially a naked n7 that has a decent degree of scratch protection. The n7 lives in a nice leather pouch when it is not being used. I am loving it.

None taken. I was curious and got an opinion from my wife as to whether she thought the leather pouch/wallet was a woman's wallet. She disagreed. She said it was too big and not ornate enough to qualify as one. In fact, she commented that it was reminiscent of a style of travel wallet she has seen by Coach leathers for men. Regardless, the macho side of me finds it is to be simple and quite functional for the N7. I'll let the feminine side of me appreciate the looks.

I've been unsure how exactly I want to cover this thing up. Case, skin, nothing? I'm undecided at this point so I appreciate all of these threads to help steer me in one direction or another.
The Roocase is on sale, looks great. 5 shipped. I bought one. I also have a Moko slim and Portenzo. All sweet cases.
The Portenzo hard book case is expensive but high quality, where the Moko and Roocase are cheap and may last 6 mo. I don't speak experience since they are new to me, but judging by my Poetic last gen.
I'd definitely recommend a slim case with a flap. It just feels more durable and tossable. Also just the ease of just flipping it open and it turning on.
A sleeve is good for travel for luggage but daily usage.

I ordered just the white carbon fiber back, and in my opinion, it looks light-years better than the Sandstone Black. The sides are uncovered by the sticker, so you still get a fair amount of grippiness on the sides. Now, my OPO literally turns heads when I put it on a table. I highly recommend it, despite the warnings. I'll post pictures if there's any interest.
Here is how the mahagony wood looks like. I have the sandstone back and it was very simply to put on. I used a hair dryer to apply.
