[Q] Check out these 2 very stylish white cases

So heres a link to this Carbon Fiber very stylish white case for samsung galaxy tab. I like the color and is very fashionable, adds value to the tablet. Also there is a link to a copy of this case, it looks like its carbon fiber but its not. Which one I should go with? I didn't really like roocase or galaxy book cover. Galaxy tab is my 5th tablet and I am planning on using it not only on the go, but also like to make a fashion statement. Has anyone purchase any of these cases? Any feedback would be highly appreciated. And yes White is next Black

The real zenus case looks a lot nicer. It accentuates the beauty of this device very well. I wonder what the overall thickness is. I am very tempted to get one of those.

Looking at it in more depth. The page says galaxy tab 2 and it ships from south korea. If you do go to the zenus case site. ZenuscaseusaDOTcom it says the same thing. I'm kinda skeptical. I love the look of the white but wonder if it would get dirty quickly.

Ok. I ordered it. I got the black because I'm worried the white would get too dirty too easily. I went through the official site not ebay with overnight shipping. Should prob have it tues our wednesday but I'm going on vacation for six days on thursday. I will review it next week upon return and after some use. If I forget send me a pm to remind me lol.

I like the fact the "better" (Zenus) one uses clips to hold the device just as the OEM one does where the "cheap" one surrounds the entire border around the screen.

I ordered one from amazon also. I ordered the white one though. since its carbon fiber, i think it will be easy to clean if it gets dirty

I really like that more expensive "Prestige" style case, but it's even more expensive than the Bookcover case from Samsung! Yikes.

I assume you understand it's not "real" carbon fiber but a textured material that looks like CF.

Looks sweet! Only con I can find, is that it doesn't have the low angle position as the original samsung book case.

Thank You. A friend of mine got PU leather black case for his white galaxy tab. He left it overnight to charge it in the case, next morning he woke up only to find out PU leather got hot and started to melt slowly and left black stain marks on the back of his white galaxy. It looks really ugly. I will try to post pictures when I see his tab next time. That would be the reason I think I should get a good case rather than PU leather.

Just got a shipped notice from Amazon for my black one.
That's why they call it PU leather, because it stinks .... figuratively and literally. I got one for my B&N Nook off eBay and it smelled like the trunk of Casey Anthony's Sunfire. The seller gave me a refund and told me to throw it out. When I put out the garbage all the animals in the area ran away from the bag.

Just got my case. Initial thoughts: good quality. I like how it does not block any of the screen like most cases. I almost had a heart attack when un boxing because it said 10.1 v but it fits perfectly. It is a bit hard to transform it to a stand because of how snug it fits in the case but I imagine this will get easier with use. The angle works well for typing(I am typing this right now with the tab at an angle on my desk). Closing the lid is a bit tricky to get it to latch, but once it is closed it stays closed. The pictures at zenuscaseusa.com show the detail pretty well but if anyone wants a picture of anything specific let me know. I will post more thoughts when I get back from my trip and get to use it more, but so far I feel it is worth the price. Oh, and the outside is leather but has a textured feel from the nylon they used to make the carbon fiber pattern.

The black isn't transparent i.e. you won't be able to see the google/samsung branding on the back. There is a clear version on amazon.co.uk. I've been using this case for 3 weeks now and I love it.

Grrrrrr....... and I just bought the Diztronic TPU Version 3 case.

Awesome! I'm torn between the Matte Black or White. I have a Diztronic Glossy Black that I love. I bought a Matte Black and it didn't provide enough grip.
Is the White and Metallic glossy? Last time I bought a Ringke case it was sort of a foam, these seem like a hard plastic. I'd love white but I think it would end up dirty and stained.
Update:
I just bought the Metallic. Everyone says it blends in real well with the original color which is nice because there are spots that the actual phone shows through like on the sides.

Just ordered a metallic. Hope it doesn't suck!

I love it! its great to see manufacturers listen to the customers and give them EXACTLY what they want. I already have 3 cases, but I'm thinking of buying one just to support them.
You really don't see this that much esp since this case will fit the extended AND standard. Great job Rearth!

As long as the case is larger, it should be ok. We're talking about millimeters here. It'll probably fit but have some play which could be corrected if you get creative.
I think they went for it is because Verizon is the only carrier in the US and they had extended batteries from day 1... for 50% off... so most people picked it up. A case that is a tad thicker is better then a case that is too thin.

I want the alpine white case, my only concern is if it starts to stain or discolor only after a few days. Anyone have any opinions on this?

From the sounds of it.. sounds like you've ordered one if you did, report back I mean Canada has GSM Galaxy Nexuses. It's not always about USA.

Constantly see "not only about the USA" type stuff, which it's certainly true... But I just had to lol, there are so many more GSM-minded cases than LTE/VZW.

I got one of these and I love it! My only critisism is that the rubber plugs for the micro usb and headphone socket have discoloured slightly by my jeans.
It's not enough to get another case though!

I had the alpine white for a few days now and no signs of stains or dicolor ..I also have the full body white carbon fiber skin under it and had no problems..got it from eBay and comes with screen protector for around $26

I understand the whole USA vs GSM issue but USA only has LTE models which are different in size anyway from the GSM variant, so GSM snug fitting cases won't work anyway.
So thats a huge chunk of customers they want to account for. LTE specifically, which most of the LTE phones probably have the extended because they were selling them at such a good price.
And yes I bought the Metallic as noted on the first page. Ringke is a great company and I've demoed a few of their products in the past to know they are high quality. I too wanted the white but I've seen lots of "white" cases. I would have also liked a Glossy Black. The matte is nice but actually feels more slippery then the gloss. The gloss has a "sticky" feel that helps keep it in my hands.
The Metallic is supposedly glossy and matches the phone pretty well, according to the GSM thread. We'll see. Can't wait.

Anyone know where this case can be seen in person? I'd like to hold one before I buy it.

How is the fit for the GSM version of the GNex?
Will the TPU bumper lift the camera lens away from the surface like how I suppose the front lip (which I hope is minimal) can lift the screen away from the surface when the phone is placed downwards?

Are the buttons cut-out?
Does it add a lot, width wise?
Is the tpu rubbery? in the sense that it is sometimes hard to pocket?

Mine was delivered on Friday. Very nice... fits perfectly and doesn't add much extra to the phone. It easily slips into your pocket fine even with the rubber which is only very slight. The buttons are covered with the rubber giving it a nice feel while protecting them. I got the black one and the phone feels very good in the hand with it on. Looks very stylish and still retains the GNex look while protecting it.
Hope this info helps. Only issue was it took 3 weeks to get to me..... only got the postal service to blame for that though LOL

I ordered 2 last weekend. My GNEX had been the first phone that I've gone naked with for this long and I'm loving it, but get freaked out of the thought of dropping it with no protection. Hopefully this is a good compromise.

I think because of the way these work, they should fit both versions. I can't say for certain since mine hasn't come in yet. Damn slow boat shipping.

I ordered my case from the op's link for my verizon nexus.
Case came in yesterday and overall its a damn good fit and feel for just $4.
Bought a white one but will probably order a black one as well.
I'll post up pics in a bit.

I'm using the CDMA version with the extended battery and the fit is fantastic.
I hate having a case on this phone because it just looks and feels so great in hand naked.
This case feels great AND it's minimal enough that it maintains that sexy nexxy look and feel. Seriously, it looks great in person. Couldn't be happier!

Good Stuff man I cant wait to get mine, Probably going to be a couple weeks though. So I'll update with pictures. I ended up getting the White and Orange. Try something a little different. I have 3 sgp cases and there all white and black. That kind of vibe.

I finally received my TPU bumper last week. It's definitely for the GSM version, though I don't mind it on my VZW phone. I like it a lot. But yesterday, the black TPU portion separated away from the white plastic section at the USB port area so I can't use it anymore. Could just be a fluke in my case though. I contacted the original seller to see what they can do.

I doesn't notice it in HK!

Elago Breath Cases GS3 White & Blue pictured on white GS3

I purchased the white one for myself and the blue one for my girlfriend. The cases are very thin and sleek. They feel great in the hand and do not add extra bulk to the phone. The top and bottom of the case is open so you wont get overall protection there, so be careful when handling it and not dropping it. There is a slight lip, but I don't think that it will keep the phone raised up enough off a surface if you lay the phone flat on the screen side. I would definitely recommend putting a screen protector on to be combined with this case. I had already purchased a screen protector the day I picked up the phone from the store, however Elago actually sells the case together with a screen protector from amazon as well. The prices for the two combined are $24.99, and the screen protectors from Elago are $8.99 alone. There are cut outs on the sides for the power button and the volume rocker. I feel that the cut outs aren't recessed enough, and your made aware of it however it does not bother me too much. Overall I am very happy with the cases especially for the price. I would definitely buy from Elago again, and I do like the variety of colors that they offer the cases in. I like the Breathe style because they are different than all of these other snap on thin cases and make the phone stand out more. I took some pics from various angles with both cases on the phone and off the phone with my dslr so you guys can take a look for yourselves.

are they grippy or are they still really smooth? I am planning on getting a case only because the phone is so smooth i know i'm going to drop it eventually.

Thanks! The phone is snug within the case. It hasn't come out of the phone. It fell earlier today, and the case popped off but i've had that happen with other cases though. When it fell, there was not damage to the phone. THANK GOD! LOL.

It is smooth but I feel like the perforated holes add grip while your hands are holding it. I used it all day yesterday and today so far and haven't slip because of it being too smooth.

I was hoping that the official vent case for the GS3 looked like the official case for the GS2 but they screwed the look up pretty badly. This one looks good but it needs that flashy silver plaque. Haha.
Although I felt the same way about the actual phone itself but the GS3 grew on me and is now the best looking phone ever. Maybe that official vent case will grow on me as well.

Actually it doesn't. I lay mines everywhere whole I'm at work and cat home and I haven't gotten anything in the holes yet. Plus the white hasn't gotten dirty yet neither. Very impressed with the case so far. I would definitely buy more from them.

By the way for those of you worried that the case is slippery there's a soft feel version they sell as well that doesn't have the glossy back and has more a rubbery feel like a tpu case.
