Is there any way to make our XS buttons to work like onscreen buttons, I mean menu button launches recent apps, holding home launches Google now, back button same.
For menu button we can activate 3dot feature using Xposed
Is there anyway to make this work?
That would be great and help to fix 4.2.2 recent apps bug

Is there a way to hide the status bar/expanded desktop on a stock/tw ROM while still being able to see "Recent Apps"(long press home) and also "Expand Notifications"(through PIE chevron target).
On AOSP/AOKP, you can enable Expanded Desktop via Power Menu(long press Power button) and still be able to select Recent Apps and Expand Notifications no problem.
On stock/tw ROMs, I setup "hide status bar" through GMD Gesture Control but it seems to be just killing the System UI process because also incoming calls ring the ringtone, but don't pop up on the screen. VERY ANNOYING lol any suggestions?

TW is a love/hate thing for me...
Hiding status does exactly what you describe. The UI is disabled, and the functions simply stop working all together. ( Hey SAMMY !!...that was a cheap trick)...LOL
The only way I know to get the function you want, is by using the AO builds. Stock TW builds or our variants do not have this function baked in, to my knowledge....g
Are you willing to use a different launcher? Nova allows you to hide the status bar

Many thanks to enryea123 and wilhexm for how to do it here! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128647
Followed their instructions successfully and shared it for Jedi ROM here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2286619
Hi everyone!
On 4.3, I was using FullScreenToggle (view here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497558) together LMT (here --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150), and worked flawlessly!! .. but now, on 4.4, FST doesn't works (LMT V2.0RC6 yes!)
Is there any app or mod that remove the navigation soft keys???
Thanks!
Try using xposed framework with gravity box module there is option to hide nav bars.
You can enable and disable via power button.

Some parts of Gravity Box does work. The "slide status bar to control brightness" thing works. So you'll need to do some trial and error to see which parts.

Interesting. Hadn't tried that part I'll see what else works when I get a chance.

play store fix that lets you view all apps as compatible works. However, when I try to download them it throws an error like "selected file could not be located."
So actually a fair bit in gravity box works. Most status bar tweaks work, with the exception of clock mods and that text in the top left corner. The battery mods get a bit sketchy in landscape as well. No notification drawer mods seem to work. Pie controls are a go (which is really cool). None of the nav bar mods seem to work, at least none I've tried so far. Same goes for transparency settings. Power tweaks don't seem to do much. In display tweaks expanded desktop mode doesn't appear to work, but changing the screen animations and unplug turns on screen work. Finally, under miscellaneous, the clear all recent tasks and recent tasks ram bar are both functioning. Hope this helps!
I'm on rooted stock firmware and I am wondering if it is possible to change the behaviour of a long press on the home button. I've used cyanogenmod in the past and I was able to set the behaviour for the home button to show a dial of apps/actions. Is this possible through the use of a mod or an xposed module? Thanks in advance

That's almost perfect! Thanks for that. I like the cyanogenmod version better but beggars can't be choosers!
Ideally, what I want is on the semi circle there to be icons for apps that I can set. Also, one feature that I liked was the ability to have one of the icons being a 'kill current process' icon. This will do for the timebeing though.
You can do it with gravity box.

Gravitybox is unusable for me. It keeps making my launcher (xperia home) crash. Shame as the solution looked perfect.
