[Q] Using touch control with fancy kernel - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello to everyone,
i wanted to post my question in the fancy kernel topic (Here) but this is my first message so i can't write in the development section.
Anyway, i flashed the latest Fancy Kernel Bigmem on my GNEX with Paranoid 3.99 and i'd like to use Touch Control to wake up the phone by swiping from left to right on the screen, but when activating TC it doesn't list my kernel, only Franco's, CM and modified stock.
In the official topic of Fancy the author says that the Extended version has "module support (for PGM, e.g.)", so it should be compatible!
How can i do?
Many thanks
(ps. sorry for my english!)

With ponury module, it works.

[Q] Android Revolution HD 2.1.2 and its Kernel on Galaxy Nexus

Included kernel details:
New kernel: 3.0.9-mck-r3+
Many CPU governors (Interactive, Ondemand, Performance, Conservative, UserSpace)
deadline as default scheduler
USB drive / keyboard / mouse support
CIFS support
Screen improvements
You can find custom kernels here

I installed to 2.1.2 already. Unfortunately, I think it is still the old kernel.

So the question would be, whether or not Paul O Brien's kernel would have a positive effect on overall performance of ARHD or not? Is it worth getting Paul O Brien's kernel.
Oh and the page "Kernel for Android Revolution HD" is not updated to the latest version. Might want to give it a look.

Oh and should I update the baseband to XXKK6 as recommended?

1. At lock screen, sliding the notification bar down brings out the "Back" and "Home" button. If you press the "Home" button it switches the screen off.
I am currently running 3.0.9 on Pauls Ir6 Rom. Since it's not Mikes Rev HD I couldn't comment as to the effect it might have but when I updated from stock, I remember a significant battery improvement. Might be worth trying, I don't see it doing any harm.
What do you mean it's not Mike's Rev HD? Isn't he the one who posted every ARHD posts?
Yes. I was referring to myself NOT running a Rev hd rom but saying with updating the kernel I did notice improvement.

Ah! Can't believe I misread that.
Is there a way to just update the 3.0.9 kernel ONLY? Like how you do with the baseband. If so, where can I get the image file?
I've searched around, all that's available are the packed ROMs. Quite confused here.
I think this is it. Just have a read first.

edit: And of course it goes without saying but... Backup before flashing

There are R3 and R4 for the kernel. Can I use them or they are for CDMA version of the phone?
I flashed with the R4 and now I'm sort of stuck at the Google word when I reboot the phone. Has been there forever. LOL
Am I doing it wrong?

[Q] Voodoo kernel implementation

I wanted to ask if we can already enjoy Voodoo kernel on our Captivate Glide. I have read that Inception mod implements it "partially", although I cannot post there yet to ask what's meant by "partialy"... I just don't want to spam to reach 10 posts threshold.
Does Osimood implement the Voodoo kernel (partially, or all?)
Hope you can tell me
Cheers
Tony
AFAIK osimood uses the latest dman's kernel. so it has the same kernel functions as inception ROM.
Yup, I am suspecting that too. Maybe dman or CarpeNoctem can chime in at some point, and tell us which features of Voodoo are currently enabled. I take Voodoo improvements are already enabled by default when playing music with my app of choice... Right? Or should I install a separate apk? (like Voodoo sounds plus, from the market)
Cheers
Tony
Is it possible to get dman's kernel separate from either rom?
I would like that too. So people who'd like to keep close to the stock esthetics, could still enjoy dman's wonderful kernel without having to work on Inc3ption rom to undo some of his work.
i already asked that in the inception thread and dman said that you can use the kernel without the dependency of any rom.
Awesome. Where can the link to the kernel be found?
And if there's no link, is it possible to pull the kernel from one if the roms?
So any news as to separately impement the kernel? What further development is there to make?

[Q] ION Kernel vs HD-Kernel vs PachaRX vs4

Hi Guys!
1st i have to say that is my 1st post :'D , and my english not is very good...
ok, I want to ask you what kernel works better in our desire hd. Nowadays I have flashed the rom SVHD 2.1...
The 4 kernels are:
->HD-KERNEL T-16.1 (ION) Based on linux kernel 3.0.101 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195735
->HD-KERNEL T-10 (ION) Based on HTC Stock 3.0.16 (same as before but a 3.0.16 base and a older release t10) This and pacharx appears on myHUB of the rom
->MELKANG KERNEL R1 (ION) Based on 3.0.16 and with some bugs as not S2W and not OTG (idont use these things) and wifi bug at start up (need to disable and enable to work). Some People on SVHD says that this kernel is very smooth compared with the stock custom kernel on the rom (pacharx 2.9). I dont know if they have tried any of HD-kernel to say that this is the "best" i dont know. Neither I am criticizing anything, only I say that if before they have tested some another kernel with ion to say this. The link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560386
->PachaRX-VS4 2.9 (not ION) htc stock 3.0.16: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2129153
If anybody knows what kernel is faster and what kernel have beter battery life, pls answer this post!
And other 2 little questions:
->Can you recommend to me a good battery with protection anti short circuit and everything what must have one original but be extended battery?
Pls dont say the 2450mAH japanese battery, i have hear that this battery can explode because dont have any charging protection.
->Link2SD slows the OS and the load of apps? Always I have believed that this application was an improvement of rapidity for the system on having left more internal Free memory, but in the last flash I did not install it. I notice more speed in the load of applications.
Thank you very much to all the members of the forum of desire hd. You are the best, are doing of this smarphone of 1st OP SmartPhone generation a marvel:laugh::laugh::laugh:

[Q] Cyanogenmod 12.1 Stock Kernel

Hello everyone!! I have been a long time follower of Xda. This is my first post here, so please excuse my noobishness. I have been searching the forums, & Google for the past 2 days trying to find an answer to my question: Does the *stock* cm12.1 (official nightlies) come with an alternative to MP-decision (hotplug) & thermald?!?! I'm desperate to know! I've installed kernel adiutor and noticed a message stating that if my kernel has an alternative, to disable the option in the app... So I'm confused & haven't been able to find any info at all on the stock cm12.1 kernel, or what features it has, which would also be helpful & nice to know! Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out!!
