[Q] ION Kernel vs HD-Kernel vs PachaRX vs4 - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys!
1st i have to say that is my 1st post :'D , and my english not is very good...
ok, I want to ask you what kernel works better in our desire hd. Nowadays I have flashed the rom SVHD 2.1...
The 4 kernels are:
->HD-KERNEL T-16.1 (ION) Based on linux kernel 3.0.101 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195735
->HD-KERNEL T-10 (ION) Based on HTC Stock 3.0.16 (same as before but a 3.0.16 base and a older release t10) This and pacharx appears on myHUB of the rom
->MELKANG KERNEL R1 (ION) Based on 3.0.16 and with some bugs as not S2W and not OTG (idont use these things) and wifi bug at start up (need to disable and enable to work). Some People on SVHD says that this kernel is very smooth compared with the stock custom kernel on the rom (pacharx 2.9). I dont know if they have tried any of HD-kernel to say that this is the "best" i dont know. Neither I am criticizing anything, only I say that if before they have tested some another kernel with ion to say this. The link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560386
->PachaRX-VS4 2.9 (not ION) htc stock 3.0.16: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2129153
If anybody knows what kernel is faster and what kernel have beter battery life, pls answer this post!
And other 2 little questions:
->Can you recommend to me a good battery with protection anti short circuit and everything what must have one original but be extended battery?
Pls dont say the 2450mAH japanese battery, i have hear that this battery can explode because dont have any charging protection.
->Link2SD slows the OS and the load of apps? Always I have believed that this application was an improvement of rapidity for the system on having left more internal Free memory, but in the last flash I did not install it. I notice more speed in the load of applications.
Thank you very much to all the members of the forum of desire hd. You are the best, are doing of this smarphone of 1st OP SmartPhone generation a marvel:laugh::laugh::laugh:

[Q] kernels

hi, i'm about to flash leedroid v 2 on my desire hd, but i was wondering what the kernels in his site for? do i really need to flash them? and how?
This is what a Kernel does:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel_(computing)
Or, a short explanation: It's the interface between your Hard- and Software.
The faster and the more optimized it is, the faster, smoother and energy efficient your DHD runs.
If you're on Leedroids ROM you already have one of the best Kernels around.
In this case it only makes sense to flash another Kernel if you want to overclock your device. (And no, I won't describe overclocking, too. If you've clicked the link above, you're already on wikipedia to look that up, too ;-) ).
i think leedroids rom includes his latest kernel anyway, the flashable one is for people not using his roms
Every ROM comes with a kernel. Leedroid 2.0 came with a kernel. Then later Lee added some modifications to his kernel and a new kernel 2.0.1 was made available and so forth until 2.0.4. Since changes were somewhat minor he did not introduce a new ROM version. But this means different people may be using the same LeeDroid ROM each with different kernels and different experiences. For example the latest recommended kernel seems to be 2.0.3 as 2.0.4 has more battery drain.

[Q] Which Kernel for the MIUI ROM?

Hello, shortly to say:
I flahed the MIUI 1.211 AU Rom but the Battery life is horrible. Someone said, that i should change the kernel to an other one, but i never edit my kernel and dont know how this work and WHICH kernel i must put for the MIUI...?
if anyone can help it would be brilliant
EDIT:
i found the best Kernel - Radio combination for me for noobs who are searching for that , here :
the lastest radio 32.54 with coutts99 .37 kernel ( "couttstech-2.6.37_OC1190_HAVS_Froyo_CFS_VR_SLQB.zip" )
nice battery life
A kernel doesn't make the most difference of battery life. Mainly due to the rom and what you install.

If we are talking about Sense
There are 2 kernels: Titanium-KISS and Charm-KISS (which is pimped up Titanium-KISS)... for now Tk is the best, cause ChK is in developing process and few thing may causing problems (for unknow reson, when I've flashed new adreno drivers, ChK was lagging games, sometimes as much, that I was made to restart my phone by power button)
We have 4 ROMs: myONEv (light Sense, development has stopped due to the fact, that there's nothing more to do with this ROM to make it better ), mySense (full Sense, same thing as with myONEv), and two ROMS that are in development - HTC Droid and Ignorance. They are all ICS.
We are wainting as doga will make his Sense 5 JB ROM ready for daily use
If we are talking about non-Sense
We have Hellboy kernel... and that's the only well-workin non-Sense kernel
And we have one ROM that can be use without bigger problems - Shpongle
And that's all
Kernal or Rom??
My primary objective is to speed up my mobile performance,
Do i need to flash Rom , or any directly kernel can solve my problem , example - primo u (kiss) .
i'm noob in this , do tell the procedure and links how to flash it in easy steps

[Q] kernel for Gen.Y Vision

sorry for writing a certain rom related request in this category but rules are rules.
so after living 3,5 years happily with the stock rom for my desireZ, i decided to use a custom rom. i tried 4-5 roms and noticed that i cannot make it without sense. (I don't like change much) So i decided to use Gen.Y Vision R1.3 EXT4.
I'm currently using a 1600 mAh battery and with stock rom (build 2.42.405.5, kernel 2.6.35.10 and baseband 12.56.60.25U_26.10.04.03_M) had near a 2 day long battery life. However after i installed Gen.Y, i couldn't even make a day with daily usage.
What i'm willing to know is there a better kernel (if it is kernel related) that i can use for a longer battery life?
OR i would like to try the Gen.Y Vision R1.2 (stock kernel @ 806 MHz, EXT3 System) but the link is dead. It would be appreciated if someone would upload it somewhere.
While I used to Run this Rom, i used to use Hushi kernel by Neo2SHYAlien.
But as this Rom is full sense, hence its too heavy for our device, why dont you try some lite sense!!!
A great option would be CoolOS's Sensei.
Thanks...
