Copy bootanimation.zip into you SD card.
From SD card,copy it to system/media and paste it there.(You need root access for that!)
Change the permissions of bootanimation.zip to rw-r-r by long pressing/touching it.
Reboot.

Here you go guys, its finally finished.
This boot animation was created in Cinema 4D! So its pure 3D, thats also why the filesize is quite large, but here it is, since I got my first android device, I've wanted to develop for the comunity, but I never could figure out how to learn how to do that, so I finally decided, I can use Cinema 4D to make some bootanimations! Later down the road I will probably even start theming, but here is my first boot animation, flashable through recovery!!!
Thanks to Ryuinferno, for helping me get this damn thing flashable!

When you click on the video (at least from my Nexus using Chrome) it takes you to a jumbled up address and gives a DNS error.

[EDIT] First post updated with video link. When I get home tonight, I'm going to go back into cinema 4D and see if I can up the lighting a little, the intro of the animation seems a little dark.

Hey guys I am possessed with custom boot animations and I was going through XDA forums for bootanimations and finally found this awesome software from here :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678540
So this work of mine is not original.I will be using this software to create new bootanimations as requested. It would be better if you give me video link of the boot animations which you desire.

Instructions for changing bootanimations (I own I9100G and these steps are for my device, you can check for your device respectively):-
1.Rename the zip file to "bootanimation"
2.Copy it to system/media using root explorer
3.If asked for replacing original one prompt for it
4.Reboot.

Ya it works if ur kernel supports it.....
Remove bootsamsung.qmg and then replace with bootanimation.zip......
If only this doesnt work then also remove bootsamsungloop.qmg(something like this,even i dont rem its name)....

Here you have CMW flashable zip for any bootanimation.zip, just open this zip via 7zip or other zip packer, and replace bootanimation.zip in system/media folder, thats all. you can upload yours animations for anyone

INSTALL USING CWM
-> Download and copy the Zip File to your SD-CARD.
-> Reboot and enter in CWM.
-> Select "Install Zip from Sd Card".
-> Chose the Zip file and Select Install.
-> After Installation completes Successfully, Reboot system.
-> That's it.. You must be seeing our Bootanimation after the Kernel logo.
-> Enjoy...!!!

Please try to download the file again because when i downloaded i found it normal. I think you are talking about the "rain drop xperia"

Copy bootanimation.zip into you SD card.
From SD card,copy it to system/media and paste it there.(You need root access for that!)

Well the nexus has a 1280X720 resolution,and these are made according to it...if I make a 1080p animation, it will lag like hell in the nexus!
The resolution of nexus is 720X1280 for the animation and it should fit to screen.

replace with your *.png in res folder, make sure you have transparent background. can be done using GIMP magic wand tool.
