When I saw Google Edition (GE) bootanimation here I really like it but I wanted more Xperia

Here's what I've changed:
Resized to 720p = less space = faster loading/booting;
Google logo replaced with Xperia logo;
flashable via CWM/TWRP;
Minimal version - smaller size, inverted and shorter animations and less frames (more lightweight);
Abstract version - quite big but IMHO very beautiful bootanimation. My personal favourite.
PAC version - for those who use PAC ROM - simple but yet beautiful (at least I think it's nice )
PAC_reloaded - a little bit more dynamic version
OpenSEMC version - for those who use RaymanFX's ROM. Great ROM needs great bootanimation
***** version - you tell me.
Previews are in 2nd post.
Minimal versions have reduced frame number and size and less candy for faster loading and possibly faster boot (~26% of original size)
Backup your ROM before flashing! There shouldn't be problems but still - you never know. Also, you need to have rooted ROM for these to work.
If you have any idea/request just throw it in your post and I'll see what we can do.
Moreover if you use boot animations in your ROM - no problems, just give credits and everything is ok
Troll Mode bootanimation - how to win a bet on which phone will boot to lockscreen in shortest time
Also, battery animations are now available! It is chargemon animation of your battery level when your phone is turned off. I made some custom themes there too so you can check it out in 2nd post, below boot animation previews.
Chargemon themes are also flashable so procedure is same as for boot animations. Download links for chargemon are in 2nd post below previews!

Yes, and i tried xperia_edition_bootanimation.zip and xperia_edition_bootanimation_minimal.zip, none of it worked, and i lost the boot animation
so i tried the one from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340862 nd it worked without any issues

I have placed the bootanimation in system médias with good permission and not working...
Have you a solution???
Because i have looked picture by picture i think is a pretty bootanimation but not working

Quite odd indeed because everything should work... Give me some time, I'll try to figure it out and release updated versions...
Is there ANY version that does work? I didn't have problems on my phone but I'll see what happened.

I have tested that the normal version of Sony but I boot with black screen during the bootanimation ... I will test the others in the evening and if I find a solution I will send you a pm ... I intend to the propose to my next update of jellyslim211... but the pictures are really pretty...

Okay, I think I got it - when I was batch resizing pictures I think different pic resize technique was used so even though it is .png picture end result is not the same file but a copy of that file. ge_minimal bootanimation was manually resized (every pic separately in Photoshop, talk about wasting time ) and it seems that it works.
At the end that means that I must do some things from scratch. Also, after some time I'll release a bit different versions.
EDIT:
xperia_revamped is now available in 1st post.
It's a bit bigger than previous version but now has smoother transition, prettier Xperia logo and a bit sharper font look. I tried it on my device and it works (ROM: letama's AOSP 4.3 alpha 0).

Boot Animations

Hey guys, I was just throwing this out here. If you want any custom boot animations you want done, feel free to post your requests. If you want a completely new boot animation just pm me details on what you are looking for. I'll try to get requests done as soon as possible as I also have to study for tests occasionally. Here's a link to my previous work for a phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1690735 . If you want, I will convert the sizes for you guys all you gotz to do is ask. To install a boot animation. You don't have to be rooted and you must have a file explorer of some sort. For me Root Explorer is very helpful.
Rooted:
Then go to system>media>then rename the existing boot animation to something different. This is pretty much backing it up. An example of what to name is bootanimation.zip1. Then go to the boot animation you want then copy and paste it to the system/media folder. Then you reboot and relax.

There is one I'm looking for. It is the loading animation when you open a google service page in a web browser, like Keep or the alarm for Google+. It shows a circle with google colors folding in half from different axis.

Could you PM me a link of the picture of it? I have never seen it before. I will try to do yours and PatimusXPrime's requests over the weekend.

I have posted the Biohazard Bootanimation. The Google bootanimation may not be possible since I cannot get a clear look of the whole animation. If someone screencaptures the animation as a video ( Link Hypercam ) , I would be glad to do the animation. Happy theming! :cyclops:

Ooh, I'm gunna add that to dev-host ( so users don't have to wait for the animation) then add it to the list. It's growing people! Happy Theming!

FYI one can also pull the boot animation.zip out of the GE file and replace it manually with a file explorer.

Normally, the bootanimation should repeat until the nexus is restarted. At least it is written in the desc.txt.

Well the nexus has a 1280X720 resolution,and these are made according to it...if I make a 1080p animation, it will lag like hell in the nexus!
The resolution of nexus is 720X1280 for the animation and it should fit to screen.

dude i already have a file named bootanimation in system/media and i m nt able to delete it and replace another wid it.....are these animations wokring for 4.4???

Both screens are 1080p, so you'd only have to ask him for the image resources. Gotta love that seamless transition between splash and bootanimation.

Image recourses for just the pixel boot logo? White version correct? The pixel boot animation is listed everywhere along with that splash sceeen. I'll get on that rn
Edit: Found the images elsewhere because they weren't 1080x1920 in the post you mentioned and resizing those messed it up (even the ones I found weren't exactly correct)..
I got it as good as I can get it without disrupting the seamless transition between P-Logo and P-Boot Animation. Enjoy :good:

Both screens are 1080p, so you'd only have to ask him for the image resources. Gotta love that seamless transition between splash and bootanimation.

No problem! Out of curiosity, do you plan on another ROM anytime soon? Xenon HD has always been a favorite since the moto G falcon days for me. It's AOSP/LOS based but rock stable and fast like AOSIP.. Can't imagine what it would be like with the new vendor blobs like the AOSIP ROM you built has. Give it a look if you ever have free time man!

Could you do an AOSPA One? I just jumped onto the Paranoid Android Banwagon and wanted to have a matching boot screen
It should look like the end screen of the boot animation (the part where it spells out AOSPA in that familiar android green color)

Never mind, I found it heh forgot you were the OP.

Anybody have any requests? Going to be redoing a majority of these logos soon because the rom logos are too small imho. Any additions will be added then with the logo fixes.

Boot Animations for Google Pixel XL
Hi Y'all! I have compiled a (currently) small list of boot animations for the Pixel XL. I collected some gif images from the internet and converted some others to work on Pixel XL and made a collection of boot animations. Some boot animations are also collected from various sources. All are tested & worked fine on my Pixel XL. Please post here or PM me to let me know if anything is not working and I'll get to it ASAP! Feel free to see if these work on other device’s and at your own risk. You can also request boot animations by posting requests below. Please do not PM for requests. I'll try my best to make them. It would be great if you give me the gif file of the boot animation you want or a link to the gif. As I'm new to this, all previews are currently just an image and not a gif. I'm kinda new to the Android scene since this is only my second Android device (my Nexus 6P was great until the battery started giving out less than a year after I got it) so please forgive this noobish question.
Is it possible to have sound during boot animations?
I just got done putting the Pixeldust ROM on my new XL and I'm currently going experimenting with substratum.
I've been looking for a long time for a Marvel movie intro boot animation that plays the accompanying music as well.
Do you know one exists for the XL or if it's even possible?

I've never seen a way to replace the Google splash screen. I've wanted to do that myself.

I know that on previous devices I was able to get sound to work but I haven't tried it on the XL yet. Let me play around with that a little and see if it'll work.

Can you make the pixel 2 boot animation in Black? Or maybe it's the default 8.1 boot animation, I'm not sure. I've attached it, in case your interested. I tried to make one myself but the white around the icons was just near impossible for me to get rid of, so it just didn't look good.

The splash screen is not part of the boot animation but I can't figure out where that image is stored to be changed.
