Sorry if it's been asked but I can't find the answer.
I've read here and there that official 4.3 was out. Nothing since last week, I'm still on 4.1.2 and no update available yet in Belgium (Proximus).
Is it coming or not? Does anybody got the update "already" in Belgium?

Looking at sammobile, its only out for China and India.
You can download firmware for india/china and flash it via odin till the update becomes available in your region.

Hello everyone Ive been waiting since november for an update and it seems its going to last few weeks more...
since i'm from origin a Turk i thought why shouldnt i download the Turkish version from sammobile (I live in belgium and its not listed...I think we will get the update from Luxemburg) and update it trough odin..
Do i need to root my device first?
how do i use odin to update?

The firmware is for China,I f your phone is N7100,you shouldn't face any problem..so go for it.But,Beware it might contain KNOX enabled bootloder,so do some research before flashing..

Hi ,
Don't flash this ROM for Indonesia version of Note 2.
The boot loader for China Note 2 is different from International ones.

Sorry to resurrect a month old thread. I just wanted to chuck my findings at this as I have recently received a GT-N7100 CHN N7100ZCUEMK3 Galaxy Note 2 as a birthday present from my wife. And if anybody could recommend any suggestions that would be great!
As I now live in the UK as opposed to China I was getting frustrated that I couldn't use Google Play and the default search engine is Baidu and can't be changed to Google, so i've been trying for the past few days to flash it but it just won't work.
I've been downloading only the official stock roms for the international N7100 and so far i've tried 10 versions from various regions (Europe, UK, India, US) and none of them work. Some fail the moment you hit start on Odin, others will go through the entire process and fail at the end - thus soft bricking my mobile.
Luckily I have been able to use Kies to restore it - which I've installed on the laptop as opposed to my PC which is doing the flashing - but this just puts it back to Chinese mode.
I should also note that the China version is Knox enabled - mine is now burned so anybody else trying this really ought to be careful.

Sorry to resurrect so old thread, but I have an exact same phone with that firmware from China, and wanted to put either the international version or cyanogenmod on it. So did you ever get anything besides China roms installed?

Can I update manually with Odin the version of KitKat from France to use in Thailand or you would advice me to wait until the Thai version is here ?
Any difference ?

You can flash the France version while you wait till Thailand gets the official release.No harm.
Download it from https://mega.co.nz/#!2QRmCbyb!YkWs927BfvYxqL-vJiQHXkshqG3UtqHm4XIDbgLsEK0 ( NE1 France) instead of the slow speed of sammobile.It's zip file extract it you'll get the tar file.On odin select AP/PDA tab and choose this .tar file and flash.Good luck.

Only the thailand firmware version could work perfectly with your mobile sim
so i advice you to wait the kitkat update for your country to avoid this problem

That's not true , most of us who are running custom ROMs are running ROMS that are not based on our country's code,you dont expect a developer to make ROM for each country's stock firmware version. People here have flashed STOCK rom from other countries and using it without hiccups in their country ofcourse he can wait for the official firmware release for his country which no one knows when it would be released.

Did anyone of u update to the new firmware > MK*+ from november or new KitKat and got his phone locked by RegionLock ?
This mostly happened when u got a phone from a different region and u use it in other region. For example u buy phone in India and u use it in europe

I am from India and my I9195 is not officially sold here. My schoolmate bought this device 5 months back from UK or Dubai.(Not sure where) It had UK unbranded JellyBean firmware and then I immediately updated it to brazil jb and I never had network issues.
Even with kitkat firmwares I did not face network issues. Do you mean RegionLock results in unidentified networks in other regions? If so then my s4 mini is not locked.
Well RegionLock is official on Note 3 and S5 . Thought our phone will get it too with an update. I am glad it did not

I just got a tab-s in Singapore which is stuck at 5.0.2. After a bit of firmware hunting it seems like 6.0.1 was never released here. What is the best way to update to marshmallow? Download a firmware or change my region to some other country? Can you please also provide a howto for the second one. All firmware sites I have tried to get 6.0.1 are horribly slow.

Singapore/the rest of sea got the update on october. If you root your device it wont update by OTA. you need to update manually. Use this website fw.updato.com and download your fimrware. this site will download fast.
