WTF?!!! No Real Football 2010 HD!!! That's an awesome game by Gameloft!
In casual gaming, Falling Ball and Tap Falling Ball is good.
In Strategy Robo Defense is cool.

I was under the impression that it wasn't running too well on the i9000?

You're missing the Gameloft games, but they are unfortunately only available through Gameloft's site instead of the Android Market.
There's no denying they have the highest production values and are the best visually however. For reference, Asphalt 5 on Samsung's app store for the Galaxy S is by Gameloft.
I'd suggest:
- NOVA (action, first-person shooter) which looks incredible and runs flawlessly on the Galaxy S
- Let's Golf 2 (sports) which looks equally stunning and runs perfectly.
I've had problems with the follow Gameloft ones however:
- Tom Clancy HAWX (action, shoot-em-up) installs, opens and the intro logos appear but crashes when it gets to the menu
- Dungeon Hunter (action, rpg) installs but does not run

Somebody help me!

Generally that means you need some free space on your memory card, as it says.
I think Gameloft games install their data on the internal memory, so check you have enough. Otherwise it may be due to whichever lagfix or firmware you're using (ext3, etc) locking write capabilities to your card.

Yeah you need available space for those GameLoft games.

Have you tried quake 3? (kwaak3) Amazing speed, its just desktop-experience (except for the controls) But the latest version acually works. Can yuo do this with Desire?

Hero of sparta is great game too and also quake 3 by kwaak3.

How about a MMORPG category

However on this occasion I think it's more to do with the fact that jp2 and jp3 firmwares have inherent issues with writing to the sd card.
At the moment this is only a temporary fix and nothing permanent...I cant run Asphalt5 for this very reason.

In no real order
1. Angry Birds
2. Doodle Jump
3. Alchemy - game where you start w/ 4 elements, you keep mixing and matching to get more and more elements. Currently there are 330 different combinations, I'm only at like 83 lol.
4. Air Control - Air Traffic Controller type game. Lead your plane/helicopter to specific places w/o them colliding
5. Burst - Chain reaction type game based on popular flash game. click one dot, it explodes, try to get other dots within explosion to create chain reaction. Every level has a certain number of dots you need to explode.
6. Real BlackJack - random blackjack game
7. Live Holdem - multiplayer texas hold'em
8. Wordfued - online scrabble, can play multiple games at once

where can i get nsf shift?

I installed both nova and sandstorm and downloaded and installed all files. Annd wen I start it says it needs more files or I start. It up and it just ends what am I doin wrong.

Whats your your top A7 Game pick?
For me i would have to say Kongregate Arcade. I can play on this app for hours and never get bored with it. Its packed with endless flash games. And there always adding more. With a loggin system and a rating system this is a must for flash gamers! And might i add it runs super awesome on the a7!!!

I sent them an e-mail about it and got nothing.
It appears than none of the Gameloft games run on the A7.

Runs just fine on my A7.

Air Attack HD

Personally I enjoy the emulators along with the xbox mod

Tegra2 demo of NFS Shift (i tested it and it runs ok)
only one level playable , from here you need to buy the full game (for AT&T network users only i think)

Gameloft games
Just a quick fyi. Some gameloft games work on the elocity. I've tested:
works:
Asphalt 5 (works perfectly)
Assassins Creed (sucks without multitouch)
Sandstorm (ok without multitouch)
Dungeon hunter (works great, lighting seems messed up)
Dungeon hunter 2 (works great, some textures whited out, only on menus though)
Hawx (works perfectly)
doesnt work:
Modern Combat 2 (downloads files but doesn't work)
Avatar (not at all)
Brothers in arms 2 (not at all)
Nova (downloads files but doesn't work)
GT Racing (downloads files but doesn't work)

- if you got stock, its not working
- if you got the Mod edition, it should work fine, as the build prop fix is included.

Games recommendation (S5830)

This isnt a duplicate of the other gaming thread, we only recommend games here (by experience), try to recommend your top games so the quality stays at the top
Doesnt matter if you recommend the game twice, just proves that the game is worth playing!
Beats(free) - (emulator though) - like stepmania but on the phone, you can import stepmania songs to it.

Tetris(~3$) - downloaded it but havent played it once on android yet, but i guess it's the same as iOS. It's pretty nice and ull get used to playing it with a touchscreen.

Meganoid(free) - Pretty fun at first but ull get tired of it.

I think it contains ads in it, but you can use adfree to get rid of it.
(I would recommend the snes,nes etc... emulators but the multitouch isnt good enough for playing these console emulator games.)

Compatible Games for ICS

I know there's already a thread on Games but its specific to Honeycomb for now so I think I would ask on a separate thread so it's easier to weed out answers specific to ICS compatible games.
EDIT: Updated to ICS also to run my own tests. Thanks also to those who have contributed.
EDIT2: If you want to edit build prop to emulate a500 to see your games again, you can follow crossix root mod and edit the build.prop under /data/local/rootme/loop
Thanks to crossix for his root and help with build prop location to edit.
Make sure to make a back up of original or rename it.
Heres what I edited: According to crossix you probably just need to update the 2 ro.build lines but I havent done it that way yet.

You're right I was thinking he mightve used your build prop and it stayed the same after he updatedto ICS. But ofcourse it would've overwritten it. And ya ICS build prop is not the same as HC. Which I should already know. Doh! What a newb!

I did use crossix build.prop, but it overwrites it when flashing ics.
Dgunners as in Destroy Gunners. Words with Friends, Brisksaber, Jewels,
Frontline Commando, Overkill, NFL Pro 2012, ROC, Lane Splitter, Drift Mania,
and Top Truck also still works.

Got order & chaos working, any gl games that are borked because of device detection should work just by changing the deviceid to a500, I dont have a build.prop from an a500 so I can't fix market yet to find more apps.

Games that have had problems:
N.O.V.A. 2 HD - controls don't work at all (seems a touchscreen issue)
Dungeon Hunter 2 HD - controls flicker in and out, again seems touchscreen issue
ShadowGun - controls are way off, pretty much unplayable
Games that work fine:
Sonic 4 Episode 1
Sonic CD
Sentinel 3
Jelly Defender
Cordy
Monopoly
Anomaly Warzone Earth HD
That's all I've tried so far. The games that have problems start and run fine, just the controls are off. None have FC on me yet.

Has anyone else noticed a problem with Fullfat games like Flick Golf and NFL Kicker. They work fine for a few minutes, then all touch input quits. I guess there are several games that have touchscreen issues with ICS, so add this to the list.

I decided to upgrade to ICS finally but I think I'll have to go back till we get a build.prop a500 mod for ICS. I cant play any of my gameloft games.

Which asphalt 6 are you running. I have the market one for when I did a500 build.prop and it doesnt work. Says not compatible request a refund.

After updating the build prop I was again able to see the games I had with crossix build prop for HC. Thanks to crossix root method and pointing me where the editable build.prop was located.

Shadowgun is playable if you have sixaxis working with a gamepad just thought i let everyone know.

Anyone try the build.prop change yet? With MC3 its much smoother when you pan but occasionally the screen freezes and I have to press power to and wake it up and resume the game.

Is this the one from the Market? I updated my build.prop to a500 and it wont download data when I open this game. I know it worked on HC though wit the same a500 mod but for HC.

I had Tetris installed before the upgrade and it launches but doesn't take touchscreen input...
