Hey everyone i put my sprint note 2 on boost moblie i most everything working i can call an send texts but i can not get the internet working can someone point in the right way to fix this problem thanks I am getting a error message someone to do with my user name an pass is incorrect

Right. ..you probably mistyped a key...double check and remember that it is case sensitive.

I have redid this over an over i cant get my AAA number now if someone can plz help me get my 3g or 4g working would be wonderful been working on this for 3 days now ALL day long getting really mad lol thank everyone for ur help u all been so great

Do you have the donor phone. ..what model is the donor. ...if you bought note already flashed you'll need to contact the seller to get aaa password. ...or if you're lucky you can get a boost rep to give it to you

[Q] Can Someone Please Help, I am willing to donate

I have an Evo on Boost now for 2 months rooted with no problems at all. I change roms all the time, update kernels, put themes and never any problems. Yesterday there was a post to update the pri to version 1.40.
I did it and it said something about resetting the phone. It shut down and ever since then I have no 3g at all. The only way I can surf the net or go to the market place is through my wireless internet in my home. I can send/receive texts/mms/phone calls but no internet.
Also, it constantly come up with an error 67 data call failed.

You could try updating profile under settings and system update.. let me know if this worked.. my 3g wasnt working went to sprint and did the update and is back on..

this will reset ALL data profile information on your phone. it will then reboot and reload all said information by re-provisioning your phone.
if you do not know your msl, call sprint tech support and ask nicely for it. they will usually give it to you. if not, hang up and call back. or just tell them you have no data and want to re-provision your phone and they will walk you through what i just did.
as a side note, sometimes this error pops up, for no good reason and goes away after a while. my guess is in your situation this isn't the case. you had a hiccup that's easily fixed.

Thank you for trying to help I really do appreciate it, but I don't have a sprint account I am on Boost Mobile and have been for 2 months now without any issues but this one
Could be a PRL problem? I don't know anything about getting an EVO on Boost, but I assume part of the process was downloading a PRL for Boost to connect to their towers?
Go back to the guide you followed and redo the steps.

this will still work on your phone. contact boost to get your msl. or use CDMA workshop. there is a thread in the dev section on using CDMA workshop.

What exactly will work on my phone?? and what should I do in CDMA Workshop? I have the program and I do know my MSL, so if you can explain what I should do to get back my data connection that would be great!
I tried to update the PRI and wiped my data profile for boost mobile and now without wifi on, I get error 67 data call failed

No offense, but it really should not be that difficult if you set this up before!! I assume that you in fact did not set your EVO up on Boost, but gave it to someone else to set up, correct?
Simply refer to the original guide, or steps you took yourself to set the phone up on Boost in the first place - or give it back to the person that did it and let them fix it.

Hey Nukedukem,
No offense taken, however you might want to check your panties to see if you're getting your period. I thought this was a forum for people to help other people "do it themselves". If I, and everyone else did what you suggested, you'd be outside sitting on the curb with nothing to do. So if you have nothing nice to suggest, then I suggest you pass over my post and go "not help" someone else. Thanks

The error 67 I think may be caused by the network rejecting your phones credentials, I had this same problem last night. The only way I could fix it was to restore a nandroid backup and then have it update my profile and PRL. You may be able to get away with just restoring the backup though, trying to update anything is most likely not a good idea since you are using a network other then what the software was written for.

Since I'm such a nice guy, I searched for you...30 seconds later I learned how to port my EVO to Boost Mobile.

That method did work MONTHS ago but not now that SPRINT changed up their website your not allowed to do esn swaps anymore. I was able to do it months ago with my touch pro2 and i have an EVO now and just tried to reprogram my phone cause i had the msl code and input my boost number and msid like i did before with the touch pro2. It reseted but when i went to make a call it said account cannot be validated so had to get sprint service again. Soon as someone comes out with a VALID way of getting the EVO working on boost Im going back to them.

it's because you have a sprint 1.4 pri and need a modified boost pri...until that is changed, no 3g for you, but seriously, there is an app that gives you your MSL code

[Q] Evo on Boost 3G Internet Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting

hey guys I paid some Indian guy 100$ to make my EVO into boost mobile, he did a good job, everything works fine except 2 things..
1) My 3G Internet Keeps Disconnecting Randomly (it's fast when connected)
2) I don't get notified when I get voicemails
I don't care about the voicemails, but if you can help me keep my 3g internet connection from disconnecting, I would really really appreciate it!
I am not too good with phones, so if you can put it in layman's terms I would be very grateful however if it's too technical then just tell me the steps and I can give the directions to my Indian friend.
Also, I have a Touch Pro 2 on boost and the internet never disconnects so it has nothing to do with the coverage in my area.
Let me know if you need any details from my phone.

Did you try to send a text at the same time as you received a text?

sounds like a tower is out in your area. Call sprint, that's the only thing you can do.

I had that error when mms provisioning/apn info was wrong. Once corrected, it went away.
thanks for the help guys mildly freak out it was sprint telling me that had temp turn off my service due to late payment i just nvr seen it before.. but thanks for the help

(Solved) Account can not be Validated

Ok I have read several post on this, I have Working data working Tex but when i dial out it says account can not be validated. Message 5 switch link 613. I read that if you call sprint tell them I did a hard reset they would reset it. So with my original phone i had them do that, they had me turn it off, turn it back on & it did a hands free activation. So then they had me dial a number. It said account was activated, & hung up.
So I tried my Evo & still No luck. Do I need to do this with the evo? will it not mess up the Ha & AAA? Any help on This would be Great.

Yeah thats perfect. Its just that this way someone looking for a fix to the same issue can quickly sort out what they need to read through and so

T-Mobile Note 3 on ATT APN problem

I have been using a SM-N900T on the ATT network by changing the APN settings, and it has been working perfectly until today. I have no internet connection, but it shows full bars, and I can still call and text. I've tried restoring to a earlier NANDROID, and even went to an ATT store and had the guy (who happened to know exactly what I did and has done it himself for his phone) try to fix it, but nothing has worked.
I posted this in the AT&T section too, but no luck so far. Any help is greatly appreciated.

ok that should be no problem i can most likely help you, what APN do you have selected? also are you rooted? custom rom? are you using AT&T or something like Straight Talk or Net 10?

Hmmm, ok, im gonna ask, but i do understand if you dont want me to, but there is an app you can download in the google play store called Teamviewer quick support, it will also make you download an addon for samsung, its basically a remote assistance app, its secure and will allow me to take remote control of your phone, but only if you allow, Im only here to help, and youll be able to see my every move, but i understand if you dont feel comfortable as well, but it will make things go much quicker if you want to go that route.
Otherwise ill try my best to help you here. Let me know how you feel and then well go from there

Had same issue when the tower had maintenance going on. Next time this happens, call att and ask if anything going on near you.

Same here both with AT&T and T-Mobile. All you need to do is call nearest store and ask if they're experiencing network problems.
