Hi,
I'm with LG Optimus G Pro (E986) and after returning back to stock rom (I used LGMLauncher) my internal storage won't mount. So now I can't root and I can't install recovery with Freegee. I can install programs and the graph in Settings/Storage/Internal storage/Apps is changing, but the graph Available is always 0,00B.
PLEASE HELP, GUYS!!!

Dear All,
I was on stock ROM on my optimus G -e975, installed AOSP, installed philz touch and houston's kitkat, then moved to CM11. While moving to kitkat, i modified philz touch to look into \data\media folder, so that i find's the ROM zip files from there... Now, i had an issue in CM11, which forced me to restore my stock nandroid backup... during the restore process, i forgot that i have changed the default path, so I did a clean install wiping everything in the following order:
Recovery--> advanced--> wipe system\data\cache --> back format\factory reset-->wipe data...
After than I restored the nandroid backup of stock rom. Now, I don't have anything in my internal SD card.. Free space is 24 GB out of 25 GB... I had around 24 GB of data in my internal memory card befor the restore...
So, Is there any way to restore the wiped data???? Any help willl be very greatfull for me.. since I have lost everything from my phone.....:crying:
U formatted ur sd card...i dont know if it still recoverable.. There's an app on playstore which could retrieve files try it
Sent from my Optimus G
Dave,
I tried some apps from playstore, but they don't have the capability to restore the recovered data to the same internal memory... also, since our device doesn't support otg, i'm unable to point the app to external memory devices...can you pls suggest any apps which has capability to restore to internal memory???

how can i install without an sdcard? i have CWM recovery.:good:
If you can do ADB side load in your recovery try that.

Copy ROM and GAPPS to your internal storage and flash them just like you would if they were on an external SD card.
i've found an ADB sideload guide but my device is not recognized in recovery mod (CWM)
it appears in device manager as LG E980 without driver.
i've installed latest usb drivers for the G PRO from lg site, but it doesn't help much.
I do have access to the internal storage in recovery mode,
but if i wipe the system doesn't it wipe all the data including the zip files?
what should i wipe without losing the internal storage data?
thank you all for helping. :good:

I'm not sure about CWM, it's been a long time since I used it. But with TWRP I always format system, data and cache and I never do lose my items in my download folders, or any other folder in which I have anything stored. /Data and /System are ROM only related and do not affect your stored files when you format them, at least not with TWRP, and I'm pretty certain, not with CWM either.
thanks guys. I've managed to install from internal storage.
but i have a different problem now,
i've installed CM 10.2 and now i don't have sound, other than that the rom works great.
is there a fix? my model is F240 korean.
Try this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786566 it is a kernel to run CM11 based ROMs on the F240. You will need to install a custom recovery first which I'm pretty sure can be done with freegee.
I had Kitkat 4.4.2 EUR V20A installed then attempted to install ArtMid 5.2.2 with OTA kernel 5.3, via CWM Touch Recovery 6.0.4.8. I had to perform full wipe and then a format /system partition, then I installed the ROMs as usual. The issue is that it caused a security boot error, and then all I could do is flashing stock 4.1.2 kdz. It flashed successfully, but now internal storage can't be seen. When I go to "USB connection type" menu and choose "Media sync (MTP)". It is mounted correctly and I can see the LG device, but there's nothing in "internal storage", no folers, completely empty.
When I connect my phone with LG Phone Software, "memory" amount is 0 GB. Attached is a screenshot of Internal Storage menu. How can I mount internal storage again? Flashing stock KDZ again? Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention that in Apps>All, I can see the following info at the bottom: 539 MB used 25GB free
Please anyone help me. Im trying to factory reset my LG G PAD 8.3 in settings, and then it reboots to TWRP, now it bootloop in TWRP, my internal storage 0. Please help how to solve this please.
Restore your backup in twrp.
I dont have the back up. I can install roms but after rebooting it always back to twrp, do encounter this. Btw the internal is now not 0 back to original value.
Hello, I have problem with G3 D855 32GB model, I have tried Lg flash tool, LGUP, nothing helps, tried few stock roms, always in boot loop.
When I had somehow managed to install stock android, I have installed root and twrp and when I tried to install custom android (fulmics or any else) i got error about unable to mount /system or /data or /cache.
Is there any chance that internal storage is bad or any way to try to fix it?
New update, so I managed to install stock rom with help of boarddiag, eMMC test pass, flashed stock rom, working good for day or so and then again I have same problem, bootloops, freezing, internal storage shown as 0MB in TWRP, with custom ROM, same problems. What could be damaged? Internal storage? RAM, SoC? I would like to rebuild all partitions from the scratch, because with boarddiag tutorial system, cache and data are not changed or anything. Any info how I could erase all partitions and rebuild them, maybe with boarddiag? That is my last option.
