Ok.. Tried all the kitkat roms, but this is the best one
The implementation of new expanded desktop makes it perfect.... No need of that pie controls and I can completely use the phone in expanded mode with no issues whatsoever... Kudos to you guys

I've read that using this, or any of the previous CM versions, may affect the LTE and/or HSPA bands of the C6506 model. This is due to the base of our CM being the C6503. Any experiences with this? Thanks!

My model is the C6503 and today I was testing an LTE connection, and everything was normal. I didn't noticed any problem.

My understanding is the 6503 is the base used for building CM for the ZL, and therefore doesn't have any issues with the baseband and radios. Its the other models that apparently have possible issues since its a different baseband.

The million dollar question regarding FXP and CM.
FXP folks work on code that will be merged into CM later so they are pretty much the same. FXP may have some things first maybe, however FXP release comes every few days, and CM builds a nightly everyday.
Unless there's a serious bug in a particular release on one or the other, it doesn't really matter.
Hmm same bug like in cm10.2 : no sound through headphones (without a mic) during a call.
Edit:
another Bug: when you get a call while listen music with headphones the ringtone is coming through the Device speaker.

I've never had any issues receiving LTE while using CM on my C6506 with T-Mobile, which is 1700/1900MHz which the C6503 doesn't support.
The only issue I feel like I've had is on some nightlies the phone didn't have LTE turned on by default, I had to go in and set it to GSM/LTE manually, but that hasn't been consistently an issue across all nightlies and ROMs.

What's going to be new in cm7.3?
My guess is jellybean animations.
Few more devices.
Raft of new bug fixes.
Anything else?

There is no cm7.3 but cyanogenmod already announced cm7.x will carry on at a slower rate of development.
Just wondering where it will lead to.

As long as automatic keystroke logs can be read by every application, I personally prefer rather to wait for CM 7.3 than to install CM 7.2
Have a look at this:
code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?id=4735
When I stumbled over this, I couldn't believe it
They didnt changed anything in the nightly builds since 9 weeks (18th Nov).... looks like they stop developing and 7.3 only will become a big Bugfix-Release.
edit: http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#bravo/cm7/1353824529
I would love CM10 on Desire, but they dont make it
I have VJ's CM10-ROM (Android 4.1.2, V3.0), whichs is really nice (beside a few minor bugs).
My phone is much smoother and faster with CM10.... i really cant understand why they dont bring CM10 for Desire
maybe android 4 is best choice.
maybe cm7.2 is last release for 7.x.
so..

So, a link would be nice... as far as I know they dropped because of the hardware limitation of the Snapdrogen Gen. 1.
But its proven that CM10(.1) works well.

I have to agree with cm for dropping support.
The general hackiness has always kept me away from jb/cm10 I gave up after 2 weeks as games and the system in general are slower.
For example try jetpack joyride in gb then try it in jb/cm10.

Definitely no. Cyanogen team has moved on to 10.2.
If anyone claims CM7.3, it's his work of little tweaks here and there. Not officially supported.

The most stable 'unofficial' CM 10.1.3 for me is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368911
The latest cm version is 10.2..
I have heard that sony is very dev friendly and provides all the necessary information to make stable custom roms unlike samsung and HTC. Sony even made an AOSP rom for the xperia S didnt they?
I ask then why is there no stable CM10 for xperia S? Not even an M-snapshot release......has xperia S been dropped from official CM support or something?
The new kernel 3.4 is needed and the aosp project was dropped support. Also, XS is officially supported on cm by FreeXperiaProject. Sony will release the new kernel soon enough and then FXP team will be able to make a stable version.

It depends.
But why do you need timely updates?
It's not an app development, if it is stable, then you can stick to it.

My next phone purchase depends largely on cm support as I just find cm to be almost perfect and most hassle free custom ROM setup.

Hi again,
A quick port from the e975. Not built from source.
Original Thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2339403
Kernel is dvhexer's alternate kernel. But you can definitely bring your own kernel.
This build is JLS, so careful when flashing kernels.
Now, since this is a port, I cannot change the source, That means I can't debug it. I can, but only up to a point. (user-debug only).
When the original thread updates, if someone wants it, I'll update the port. At one point, if it becomes real good, I might build from source. Or not.
Enjoy!!
