hi,
i use biohazard rom with touchwiz5 launcher. i tried to install the new s3 accuweather widget (copied apk's in system/app, fixed permission, restarted) but no weather widget appears in the widget list. do you know why?
i read that s3 stock apps should works on a touchwiz5....

I dont know whats the exact problem....but i know how to fix this..you will have to install the TOUCHWIZ addon pack by mrmad.net v1.5.1 in order for the accuweather to work..try it out it works!!

Just flash in recovery
So it seems you have experience modding the shortcuts bar... are you able to completely remove the shortcut bar so there is no lock icon even when there's nothing on the dock? That way the clock/weather widget is all the way at the bottom. I would give you so many internet hugs if you could do this!

Thanks for that! But how do I add the 5th icon? Sense doesn't let me add more than 4 and I can not add anything on the lockscreen (although there's one more icon position now that is empty).

When you open the first link in this thread, you should see a mod, where you can change the number of icons on the sense dock. With this you'll be abble to add the fith icon.

It didn't work. I'm on ViperROM, not ViperONE. ViperROM is for Sprint phones, ViperONE is for everything else.
And if it did work, how would I know? The lockscreen is still the same as before...
The lockscreen should look like the attached picture. Can you send me the idlescreen_base.apk from your rom?

ViperROM didn't work. Would it possibly have something to do with another mod I have installed? If there's a file I need to send you, tell me how and I can do it.
The viper version works great with the Elegancia 7.2.0 rom. Thanks looks great.

You can try to clear dalvik + cache. The flashing process runs without errors?
I need the Idlescreen_Base.apk from /system/app folder. You can copy to pc with this command:

It flashes fine, it just doesn't do anything. May it have something to do with Nova Launcher?

Yep it looks terrible, the only way to get rid of this, is adding empty space at the bottom.
I've made two versions, with lock icon and without.

i already wrote to the dev of the icon pack but he didnt reply.
can somebody help me with a download link?
I would suggest contacting the dev of the icon pack.

I mean, I did extract it, put it as a system app using Root Explorer but widget just does not load up anything, it stays empty with a rounded "loading" circle on it
